Commercial Burglaries: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information 09/08/2017 1:06am 23000 Greenfield Rd. (Cell Phone Store) Outside pane of glass was broken. No entry. Officers were dispatched to the 23000 Block of Greenfield Cellular Store) at 1:06am for B&E alarm. Officers arrived and observed the front glass door shattered. The outside pane window was shattered, but not the interior glass. The door was still secure from the inside pane window and the door was locked. No tools or B&E tools were left on scene (bricks, pry bars, etc.) Broken glass was scattered on the ground by the front door. Owner arrived and confirmed no entry and nothing was taken. Home Invasion: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information 09/04/2017 3:57pm 23000 Providence Dr. (Apartments) Apartment door was kicked in. Officers were dispatched to the 23000 Block of Providence Dr. on the report of a possible domestic in progress. Information was given that the ex-girlfriend of victim had just kicked in the front door to the apartment. The suspect left prior to Officers arrival. Victim states she heard someone knocking on her door. Victim looked out and observed her ex-girlfriend. Victim refused to open the door so the ex-girlfriend kicked the door open, confronted victim, pushed her and started walking around the apartment to see if anyone else was there. The ex-girlfriend took an unknown object from the couch in the living and fled the apartment. The ex- girlfriend has been identified and incident is under investigation. Status S - Stolen Manufacturer BMW Model 325 Color SIL - Silver or Aluminum Vehicle Year 2005 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State MI License Year 2018 Description 2005 BMW 325 Victim states sometime between 10:00pm and the following morning at 9:18am someone stole victims 2001 Toyota Echo. Victim states last night a witness noticed a Rusty Green Tow Truck parked a couple houses north occupied by one B/M at about 10:00pm. Possibly related. Victim states sometime between 4:50pm- 5:15pm someone stole his 2005 BMW 325. Victim thinks his son took the vehicle because he recently attempted to take the vehicle. The suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

(Apartments) Status R - Recovered Manufacturer Nissan Model Max Color BLK - Black Vehicle Year Body Style 4D - 4 Door Description Nissan Maxima Officers met with R/P who works for Auto Recovery Towing Service. Information: R/P stated they had repossessed vehicle on 08/17/2017 and on 08/22/2017 it was stolen out of their Tow Yard. Today they located the vehicle back where they had originally repossessed it. Officers located the previous owner (suspect) of the vehicle and arrested her for FTA Fraud $10,000 warrant out of another jurisdiction. Officers transported arrestee to our border where she was turned over to another agency. From: 09/06/2017 11:50pm To: 09/07/2017 1:00am 26000 Central Park Blvd. (Hotel) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer SATURN Model ION Color BLK - Black Vehicle Year 2004 Body Style State MI Description 2004 black Saturn Ion (2 door w/half doors) Notes Driver side front tire is a spare/donut Passenger side front hubcap chipped/damaged Victim states sometime between 11:50pm- 1:00am someone stole her 2004 Black Saturn Ion. The vehicle was parked at Hotel in the 26000 Block of Central Park Blvd. Tips: Never leave your vehicle running unattended Park in areas where your vehicle is viewable if possible Use commercially available security devices

Larceny: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details 09/04/2017 9:48am 21000 8 ½ Mile Rd. Numerous misc. items were taken from the vehicle. Officers responded to LFA in progress. It was reported that the suspect walked up to a black SUV, opened the door, and was currently inside the vehicle. The suspect was described as a W/M, late 20's, wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans. Officers arrived on scene and observed suspect with his upper torso still inside the vehicle. Officers ordered the suspect to the ground. The suspect resisted Officers and was taken into custody. Officers located a folding knife, suspected narcotics and a credit card belonging to the resident on the suspect. Several other items that were taken from the attacked 2006 H3 Hummer were also recovered. Victim states sometime between 5:20pm- 7:35pm someone took the center tailgate molding and brake light from his 2005 Chevy Trail Blazer.

From: 09/04/2017 4:00pm To: 09/05/2017 8:50am 21000 Wallace Dr. All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from victims 2015 GMC Sierra Pick Up Truck. Victim states sometime between 4:00pm and the following morning at 8:50am someone broke out window on his vehicle, located the wheel lock key in the center console and then took All Four Wheels & Tires from his 2015 GMC Sierra P.U. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Citizens should never leave their Wheel Lock Key in their center console or glove box. This is the first place that suspects will look. Citizens should try to find someplace where it would be very difficult to locate. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 09/04/2017 3:15pm 28000 Telegraph Rd. (Department Store) Victims purse contained driver s license, social security card, bank cards, medical cards and cash. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Citizens should never leave their purses in their shopping cart unattended. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> On 9/4/2017 at approx. 3:15pm victim was shopping at the Department Store located in the 28000 Block of Telegraph Rd. Victim left her purse unattended in the basket when she came back her purse was missing. Victim called the store and was told that the business surveillance cameras captured a man walking out of the store with it. Incident is under investigation. 09/05/2017 1:07pm 26000 Franklin Rd. (Apartments) Stolen were: 1- Edger 1- Blower 1- Trimmer R/P parked his landscape trailer in the north side of the building at the Apartment Complex in the 26000 Block of Franklin Rd. R/p and other employees were working for about 45 minutes and then noticed the lawn equipment was missing. R/P went inside the building and talked to the

09/06/2017 5:30am 17000 New Jersey St. Catalytic Converter was taken from 2002 Honda Accord. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Citizens that hear loud noises outside their residences in the late night and especially the early morning hours should never go outside to investigate. Citizens should carefully look outside without alerting anyone and attempt to see what is going on. If you observe suspicious activity immediately call 911 and report as much information as you can to the Police Dispatcher. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Office Administrator. They were able to pull up video of incident. A Black SUV with chrome trimming on both the driver and passenger sides pulled up next to the trailer. The passenger is seen exiting the vehicle and returning quickly. The vehicle then fled the scene. Victim stated he heard a strange noise coming from outside in his driveway around 5:20am. Victim went out to look what the noise was and observed his 2002 White Honda Accord lifted with a jack and a B/M wearing a dark hoodie under his vehicle. The suspect lowered his vehicle and walked away with an unknown object which was later discovered as the Honda's catalytic converter. Victim observed the B/M get into a clean Black 4-Dr. Sedan possibly with tinted windows and drive away W/B on New Jersey towards Pierce. Victim also discovered that his motion detector light and video camera had been moved and damaged.

09/06/2017 4:49pm 15000 Addison St. Catalytic Converter was taken from 2003 Honda Odyssey. Victim states that at 4:00am on 09/06/2017 he heard a loud noise coming from his driveway. He described the noise as a saw cutting metal. Victim turned on his exterior lights and looked out his front picture window. Victim didn t see anything. The following morning at 8:00am victim discovered that someone had cut off the catalytic converter from his vehicle. From: 09/04/2017 1:20am To: 09/04/2017 10:00am 16000 North Park Dr. (Apartments) Cash, debit cards, and a laptop was stolen from victims 2006 Nissan Altima. Victim states sometime between 1:20am- 10:00am someone entered vehicle by damaging door lock. Numerous items were taken from the vehicle. Victim reports the debit cards were used in Detroit at Fenkell Valero for $14.37 and White Castle for $5.12.

09/08/2017 1:50pm 26000 Berg Rd. (Apartments) 1- Hedge Trimmer and 1- Backpack Blower were taken from landscaping trailer. Southfield Officers were dispatched to 8 mile & Lahser at a Pawn Shop to meet Troy PD Officers to turn over a suspect who they witnessed commit a larceny of landscape equipment in Southfield. General Info: - Crime occurred in the 26000 Block of Berg Rd. - Suspect stole 2 items of landscape equipment from a landscape trailer belonging to Landscaping Company that was working at complex. - Suspect was secured by Troy PD after arriving at the pawn shop and observing suspect attempting to pawn the stolen merchandise. Southfield Officers took custody of suspect, took photos of suspect s vehicle and the stolen merchandise. Officers recovered the stolen items and returned them to their rightful owner. 09/06/2017 3:00am 20000 Lahser Rd. (Apartments) Status S - Stolen Value $59.99 Manufacturer Americana Grills. Color BLK - Black Description BBQ PATIO GRILL Victim states sometime over the night her BBQ Patio Grill was stolen from her patio. No suspect info at this time.

From: 09/08/2017 6:00pm To: 09/08/2017 6:30pm 26000 Greenfield Rd. (Discount Store) It is Alleged that an undisclosed amount of money was taken. Victim advises while shopping at the business in the 26000 Block of Greenfield Rd. he dropped an undisclosed amount of currency on the floor and the female employee that was helping him picked it up and placed it in her pocket. The employee advises she never saw any currency fall from customers pocket and she never picked up his money. Incident is under investigation. 09/09/2017 7:36am 17000 Magnolia Pkwy All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2015 Chrysler 300. Victim states sometime between 11:00pm and the following morning at 7:36am someone took All Four Wheels & Tires from his 2015 Chrysler 300 which was parked in the circle drive in front of his house. From: 09/08/2017 8:30pm To: 09/09/2017 3:30pm 25000 Southfield Rd. (Night Club) TV, still in the box was taken from the bar overnight. Victim states an Flat Screen Television was removed from the premises overnight. He states that the only two persons that knew where the T.V. was hidden were two laborers that were working for him. Incident is under investigation.

09/09/2017 3:46pm 28000 Telegraph Rd. (Car Wash) Wallet with contents including Credit Cards and Cash. Victim was at Car Wash in the 28000 Block of Telegraph Rd. She believes that while waiting for her car she dropped her wallet in the waiting room. When victim got home and realized she didn t have her wallet she called the car wash and advised the manager. The manager pulled up video of incident and observed victim drop her wallet in the waiting room. Moments later video showed a female suspect pick up the wallet and place it inside her purse. The suspect was with two other subjects. Further video showed all three subjects getting into a specific vehicle and they were able to record the vehicles license plate. The registered owner of the vehicle was identified as the suspect picking up the wallet and placing it into her purse. After reviewing the video, victim contacted her bank and credit card company to inform them of the theft. She was informed by her bank that two purchases were made at a nearby business in Southfield. Officers went to the business and spoke to the manager. The manager was able to pull up some video. The suspects were observed entering the store. Two purchases were made in the store using victims credit card. Other on-line purchases were also already made with victim s credit card. The suspect that picked up victim s wallet has been identified and incident is under further

Officers were dispatched to the 23000 Block of Telegraph Rd, which is a storage lot for Car Dealership. Dealership had four (4) vehicles in the lot broken into sometime over the weekend. The vehicles were lease turn ins. Two of the cars only had a window broken out. The other two vehicles had a window broken out and All Four Wheels & Tires were taken off the vehicle. Entry was gained into the locked lot by cutting the chain link fence. From: 09/10/2017 7:00pm To: 09/11/2017 8:00am 16000 Oxley Rd. Victim states sometime between 7:00pm and the following morning at 8:00am someone took All Four Wheels & Tires from her 2017 Ford Fusion. (Discount Warehouse) Undisclosed amount of cash was withdrawn from victim s bank. Victim s daughter reported that her mother had come forward with a robbery/abduction complaint. Victims daughter advised that two unknown females abducted her mother at gun point from the business parking lot in the 22000 Block of 8 Mile Rd. The suspects used victim s car and drove her to a fast food business on 8 Mile Rd. then to victims bank on 8 Mile Rd in Detroit. Once at the bank victim exited the vehicle unaccompanied and went into the bank and withdrew an undisclosed amount of money. Victim returned to her captors giving them the money. At that point, they drove victim back to where she was originally abducted and dropped off.

At that time Suspects#2 & #3 jumped in victims running vehicle and left E/B towards Evergreen. The vehicle was recovered by DPD Auto Recovery on 09/11/2017 at 10:20pm. The vehicle was recovered in Detroit. There were two arrests made and they were turned over to Southfield Detectives. Incident is under investigation. MDOP/ A&B/ Obstruct- 1- Arrest 09/06/2017 5:53pm 21000 Block of Wakedon St. Officers responded to a Domestic Assault in progress. Officers arrived on scene and determined that there were three persons involved in Domestic. Mom and her two daughters. Investigation revealed that at some point during the verbal dispute one of her daughters hit her several times with a closed fist. Her other daughter tried to help and was also hit several times by her sister. After the assaults occurred the female suspect then went outside and threw a brick through her mom s car window. When Officers spoke to female suspect she made admissions to throwing the brick through her mom s car window. She also identified herself as her sister. Officers arrested female suspect for MDOP/ A&B & Obstruction.

DWLS/ Possession of Crack Cocaine 09/07/2017 9:49pm Rutland Ave. & Mount Vernon St. Officer was on routine patrol and stopped vehicle for being Improperly Licensed. After approaching the vehicle, the driver stated he didn t have a driver s license. Later found to be suspended. The driver consented to a search of his vehicle. Officers recovered a plastic baggie corner tie with suspected cocaine under the front driver s seat. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician Field Tested the suspected Cocaine. Result was positive for possible presence of Cocaine. The driver was arrested for DWLS & Poss. Of Cocaine.

Home Invasion- 4- Arrests 09/14/2017 10:28am 28000 E Larkmoor Dr. Officers were dispatched to residence on a report of a Home Invasion in progress. A witness observed several B/M S enter the location. He called police and gave a suspect vehicle description. The suspects exited the house all carrying property and fled the area. Southfield Officers located the suspect vehicle and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle fled and a second Southfield Officer approached from the opposite direction. The suspect vehicle struck this officers patrol vehicle head on and it appeared that the pursuit had ended. Suspect however reversed the vehicle and began to go forward. Additional Officers arrived and the vehicle was stopped. All four suspects were taken into custody. Several stolen items from the residence were recovered. OWI- 1- Arrest 09/06/2017 11:26pm 12 Mile/ Telegraph Rd. Officer stopped a vehicle for disobeying a traffic signal. Upon investigating the driver, it was apparent that he had been consuming intoxicating beverages. An OWI investigation ensued and upon completion of the investigation the driver was arrested for OWI and lodged.

PWID Marijuana- 1- Arrest 09/06/2017 10:20pm Greenfield Rd. & Providence Dr. Officer stopped a vehicle and upon investigating discovered marijuana in the vehicle. There was also evidence of distribution of the marijuana along with a large sum of cash. The suspect was arrested and lodged.
