Be Independent Response Services Independent is a nonprofit organisation providing a 24 hour emergency response service in the York area. Our service gives great reassurance to carers and family members when they are not there with you. Our service can help anybody but can be particularly useful for: Older people People living alone People with dementia People with long term conditions People leaving hospital People with limited mobility or disabilities Carers We will install a Lifeline Unit with built-in microphone and powerful speaker which connects to the phone line and a power socket in the home.
