The raffle prizes were donated by African Aviation Services Limited (an ipad Air and Swarovski Bracelet) and Investec Bank, South Africa (Leather Laptop Bag and Nelson Mandela Book). The amount of UK 1,035.00 was raised during the Raffle and African Aviation Services Limited doubled this amount to UK 2,070.00, which was donated to Airlink. Airlink is a rapid-response humanitarian relief organisation that links airlines with pre-qualified non-profits and African Aviation is very pleased to honour Airlink for the exemplary humanitarian work it performs across the globe, including in Africa. The primary purpose of the raffle was to publicise to the African aviation community the good work that Airlink performs worldwide and to solicit further support. During the dinner Mr Ryan Barrett, Senior Vice President, GECAS, delivered a presentation on behalf of Airlink s Executive Director, Mr Steven J. Smith. The raffle was conducted by Mr Nick Fadugba, CEO, African Aviation, with the assistance of Mr Ryan Barrett and Mr Jep Thornton, Partner, Aerolease Aviation, USA.
