Airport by Charter Bus: Reading Bus Lines Friday, February 17, 2017 Load Buses at 12:30pm Chaperones Arrive @ 11am We will plan to use Ensemble Room, and Practice Rooms for Luggage Storage on that day. Please Bring Luggage Early in the Day, as traffic at the end of the school day (12:30pm) will be busy. Lunch for Travelers Box Lunch on the Bus. We are currently looking at either vendors or volunteers to help with this!

Flight/Travel Information One carry-on bag per passenger which may not exceed any of the following dimensions: 24 inches long x 11 inches wide x 16 inches tall (including wheels, handles, or any other protruding items), and may not exceed 35 pounds in weight. One smaller personal item (e.g., purse, laptop, etc.) which may not exceed any of the following dimensions: 16 inches long x 11 inches wide x 8 inches tall. This item must be able to be stowed under the seat in front of the passenger. Flight/Travel Information 3-1-1 Rule: Liquids/Gels/Aerosols that are 3 oz or less are allowed (travel size) They must ALL fit within a transparent 1 quart bag Some stores sell TSA approved bags, transparent/easy to access. Make sure that these still fit within the guideless of the 3-1-1 Rule SHOES must come off in security checkpoint, as do laptops.

February 21st Clinic Session and Meet and Greet with Dr. Travis Cross, Asst. Director of Music, UCLA Restaurants, possibly shopping afterwards. Pack that evening for return home. 2 Meals on Your Own
February 22 nd Return Home Today after lunch ( 2 meals on your own) Flight No. SY426 Departs at 6:15pm, arrives at MSP at 11:42pm (remember that we add 2 hours as we travel east!) Bring WARM CLOTHES, we will be returning to MSP late! Return to the School via Buses

Instruments We will be putting an special Orange Tag on all instruments going on the trip. We will need to register all instruments going on the trip, including: Brand, Serial Number, Condition (NO percussion. Bring sticks/mallets) HIGHLY encourage that all privately owned instruments are insured. (Some homeowners insurance covers this, some does not. The District Instruments have insurance that covers them already.
Luggage Still working with the airline on instruments, but they have said that there is an offer to exclude all instruments except for Oversized* The Band Boosters will cover any oversized instruments We will organize with a special piece of fabric that will stay on each bag that is easily identifiable as a WHS piece of Luggage Make sure you have a luggage tag with your full name, address and contact information that is easily identifiable.
Medical Information We do not need to have items notarized Jan Questad will be our Medical Chaperone on the Tour. Her contact will be in the Chaperone List if you have questions or concerns Medical Forms: We will use Medical Forms on File. PLEASE make sure that all items are up to date. New Medical Self-Adminstration for Students
Safety All Students Must stay in groups of 4 or more at all times (most rides/attracts are in 2s or 4s anyway) Administration will go over more of this at Mandatory Meeting Recommend travel pouch/id bag Make sure that all luggage/bags are closed and secured in hotel Recommend that you do not bring computers. Mobile Phones and Chargers are good, especially for photos, and do most of the things computers can do for travel.

Spending Money Request for Spending Money from WHS Band ISA Form Use this form, and check with Mr. McKee if you have met all the requirements to access these funds. Sign the Green Sheet for the District to access these funds. Money can be given directly to families or held by the Trip Chaperones in Charge of the Mobile Safe on the trip to give out daily.
