Hitch Configurations Your new hitch is designed to be assembled in one of two configurations. Either configuration (see page 3) will work with any of the hitch positions (see page 6). However, to maximize turn radius and functionality of the mower, Swisher recommends assembly Configuration A for all hitch positions and assembly Configuration B for hitch for POSITION 1 only (Figure 6A). Configuration B will limit tire clearance when the mower is in an offset position. EXPLODED VIEW CONFIGURATION A: (Figure 3A) EXPLODED VIEW CONFIGURATION B: (Figure 3B) 3

DECK LEVELNG INSTRUCTIONS: (1) Refer to your mower s owner manual for mower deck height adjustment information. Once the mower height has been adjusted, it is important to level out the mower s deck. (2) You will use the top link [item 23] to level the deck after the height has been adjusted. The top link has an integrated adjustment rod to assist in turning the body and to make the top link extend or contract. (3) Ensure the jam nut is loosened on the threads at one end of the top link body. To loosen this nut without a tool, simply turn the top link in the direction to thread it away from the nut (Figure 6A). The nut will now be loosened and should be threaded away by hand from the top link body as to not interfere with the adjustment process. (4) To lower the front of the mower deck, simply turn the top link in the direction needed to draw the threads into the top link body. This will lower the front of the mower deck to achieve a level deck. (5) To raise the front of the mower deck turn the top link in the direction needed to push the threads out from the top link body. This will raise the front of the mower deck to achieve a level deck. OFFSET INSTRUCTIONS: (Refer to page 6) (1) It is recommended to offset mower while still attached to the tow vehicle. (2) Locate spring pin [item 6] on the pivot assembly. Pull pin upward and rotate to rest the pin into the notch (Figure 6D). Move Mower and hitch bar in the direction of desired offset. Once the offset position is reached, remove spring pin from notch and allow it to lock into place (Figure 6E). You may need to move the hitch bar slightly to allow the spring pin to find the hole and lock into place. (3) Locate clevis pin [item 18] in the fan pivot on the tow bar. Remove the pin to allow the tow bar to pivot. Replace the clevis pin into the matching hole location as selected in step (1). The short tow bar section should now be parallel with the mower deck. 5
