Why Jamaica Makes Sense Jamaica s Value Proposition
Centrally Located for Intra and Inter Island Distribution
Jamaica has Many Advantages for WIP Despite a virtual monopoly on the bunkering space for 15 years the global bunkering player viewed the space as one to keep small As the logistics hub unfolds Jamaica itself will become more attractive The scale of the Port Esquivel facility makes it attractive to global players who are seeking to establish a footprint in the region and therefore The Region has many opportunities for a nimble player focused on the niche markets that are here The industries here that support the establishment and growth of a company like WIP make Jamaica compelling Finance, HR, Proximity to the US, Technical Players on the ground The real value proposition is to create a foothold here and inch out into the wider space and take advantage of the geographical advantage of Jamaica and the competitive nuances of the space itself
