This experience starts with a visit to Ca Rezzonico, the city s museum dedicated to Venice of the 18 th century, with your private guide. Learn all about the Carnival and the different masks the people used to wear. After this short 1 hour introduction, it is time to make your own beautiful carnival mask, with paint, glitter and feathers, just like in the old days: in a private, charming mask workshop. 11 ROW LIKE A GONDOLIER 9 Learn how to row a gondola in the Venetian canals just like real gondoliers through a fun-filled hands-on activity, with a stop for snacks and refreshments. Hop on a stable gondola, and let your private teacher show you how to safely row and steer the traditional boat. And once you have gotten the hang of it, it s time to go out into the small canals of Venice! On the way, you will stop to see a squero (the traditional gondola making atelier). Refreshments and traditional cichetti snacks are also included. Row away and become a real Venetian gondolier! Have a wonderful family-bonding moment while cooking traditional homemade stuffed ravioli and meatballs during our private cooking class. In the coziness of a real venetian apartment (and not a professional kitchen), let your experienced chef guide you as you prepare your delicious 3 course meal. After a quick visit to the Rialto Market, the city s main market, cross the river on board a traghetto and follow our experienced foodie to some of the most traditional and local bacaro to taste specialties such as fried meatballs and vegetables, codfish paste, cheese and various cold cuts as well as a gelato!
