1 The Destination
The Colors of Bali Life and tradition seamlessly blend together on the island. Nestled within a vast tropical country, the island is famed as the highest Hindu-populated area in Indonesia, exhibited by the many temples scattered around Bali, earning it a reputation as the Island of Thousand Temples or Island of the Gods. The enclave s alluring charms lay in the way Balinese uphold traditions. While remaining open-minded and adaptable to modern contributions, the locals stay true to their roots. From the way vibrant offerings decorate the streets in a manner of thankfulness, to the locals dressed in traditional attire performing religious rituals with diligence, every aspects of their life revolve around the balance of one s soul. The Balinese way of life is reflected in Tri Hita Karana, the key life philosophy of the island. This principle represents three causes of wellbeing; harmony with God, harmony among people, harmony with the universe. Ultimately, it is a land of beautiful coastlines, lush green forests and towering mountains. A place where people embraces the simplicity of everyday living, surrounding themselves with unending passion and spirituality. 4 SALES PRESENTATION
An Enthralling Legacy As an archipelago with densely diversified culture, Indonesia established its unique identity with a long history of reigning empires, and along with them, multi-cultural influences touching every aspects of life in the nation. The nation found its roots in the golden era of Majapahit, the majestic kingdom which reached its peak in the mid-14th century under the leadership of King Hayam Wuruk and his trusted prime minister Gajah Mada. Under their rule, Majapahit expanded their territory, stretching form the island of Sumatra to New Guiena, with the eastern and central parts of Java along with the island of Bali as their core domain. The great span of Majapahit is believed to be the foundation of Indonesia as we know it. Throughout the age of Majapahit, culture and tradition flourished into abundance; from the architectural style that influenced both Java and Bali, to the arts and crafts existing as valuable artefacts of today, the story of Majapahit passed on endless knowledge and wisdom fundamental to the country. Grand architecture of the hotel finds its inspiration all around the island.
