Our President, Mark Zupan, and First Lady, Denise Zupan, vacationing in Niagara Falls! Mary and Roger Hodel traveled to Paso Robles for a wine blending party at Gelfand Winery on September 22nd. Their first stop was at Tobin James Winery for a sample of their offerings. This is one of their favorite watering holes. Their second stop was at Peachy Canyon Winery. Another great winery. The beautiful Oak tree picture was taken from the lawn in their back yard. 10

I want to start off by thanking everyone who sent me pictures of the Cars & Coffee event and of the Rio Vista Car Show. Unfortunately, I was unable to go. It looks like everyone had a lot of fun! I have to share that this month my parents became naturalized citizens! My parents immigrated from Mexico almost 60 years ago and have been living in the United States as honorable legal permanent residents ever since. My father, a very hard working man, sometimes held 3 jobs at one time to support the family and to ensure that my mother stayed home to care for us. They raised 5 U.S. citizen born children. My oldest brother was a former Marine, all of us earned a college degree and 4 out of 5 of us are government workers. God Bless America for this opportunity and may God continue to bless my parents for all their sacrifices to ensure we had a better life. See you soon, Laura Hardt Corvettenewsletter@hotmail.com 13
