RA arrived with officers and inspected the rooms. CDS paraphernalia was observed, confiscated and placed into property. 1702-0002 2/1/2017 2359 CMRC THREAT A student reported being threatened by roommate for calling Campus Safety and reporting CDS in the suite. The student was removed for the night by housing. Referred to 1702-0003 2/2/2017 1330 Reserve #20 Lot C Impound Judicial Affairs. A faculty member arrived to Lot C to find someone parked in their reserved space. Officers responded, a ticket was issued and the vehicle was towed 1702-0004 2/1/2017 1615 MLK Theft 6(a)-MacBook-$1600.00 Victim left a computer in classroom for approx. 3 hours and upon return it was missing. Investigation pending. 1702-0005 2/3/2017 0045 CMRC Trespassing Police responded to CMRC for a trespassing complaint. Upon arrival to the suite with RA staff trespasser left after some discussion. 1702-0006 2/3/2017 1259 Stu. Affairs Trespassing A student was issued a suspension letter for trying to JA 1115 JA 1143 1140 JA 1145 JA 1128

gain access to one of the resident halls, which caused an argument with a faculty member. 1702-0007 2/3/2017 1332 Lot J Impound A vehicle was left abandoned on parking lot J. The owner was contacted and agreed to move the vehicle by a certain date. The vehicle was not removed by the owner and was subsequently towed by campus police. 1702-0008 2/6/2017 1252 McKeldin Lost Property Bowie Card was misplaced in the NSC. The card was not used by any other person. The victim has obtained a new card. 1702-0009 2-6-2017 1919 Haley Suicide Attempt Student returned to the residence to find a letter of a suicide attempt by their roomate. Campus Police was notified and the student was located unharmed. The parents arrived and removed the student from campus. 1702-0010 2-6-2017 1548 Lot H Impound Vehicle parked in a reserved space was ticketed and towed. 1144 1140 JA 1115 1128 1702-0011 2/8/2017 1131 CMRC CDS (Smell) There was a smell of CDS coming from a suite in the resident hall. During the investigation, several bottles of alcohol and cigar boxes were JA 1140

confiscated from the suite. 1702-0012 2/9/2017 1118 Tubman Medical Emergency Victim ingested pills in an effort to harm themselves and was voluntarily transported to Anne Arundel Medical Hospital. 1702-0013 2/9/2017 1632 Library Medical Emergency Student had a seizure. EMS and parent (mother) were contacted. The student refused to be transported by EMS upon their arrival and a meeting was scheduled for the parent, student and university officials to 1702-0014 2/10/2017 0020 McKeldin Gymnasium 1702-0015 2/12/2017 1100 Mckeldin Gymnasium Involuntary Detention Trespassing discuss student s well being. A student was involuntarily detained during a verbal altercation with staff where the student became irate and uncontrollable. The student was later released without incident. No criminal charges pending, referred to Judicial Affairs. A guest of a student refused to leave the suite when asked to do so by resident. Campus Police responded, the student agreed to leave. 1702-0016 2/12/2017 1223 CMRC Theft (Under $1000) 6(b) Theft-$50.00 Victim left money on a counter in the common area of the suite. After realizing it, they returned to get the money and found $50.00 was missing. JA 1128 JA 1132 1702/0017 2/13/2017 2043 Mckeldin Involuntary Detention Student which was reportedly 1136 1140 1115

banned from McKeldin Gym for refusing to leave at closing time was involuntarily detained for being belligerent and disorderly and for investigative purposes. Investigation revealed student was not properly notified he was banned from the area and was released without further incident. 1702-0018 2/15/2017 0954 Lot F Impound Vehicle was ticketed and towed 1140 for parking in reserved space. 1702-0019 2/16/17 1035 MLK Disorderly Conduct Student was disrupting class and JA 1128 being disorderly. Campus police was contacted and the student was escorted out the building by campus police. 1702-0020 2-16-17 1751 FPAC Medical Call Victim was working with wood and believe a piece (chip) of the wood fell in his mouth and was caught in his throat. EMS was contacted, gave the victim more water and that cleared his throat. Victim declined transportation 1702-0021 2-16-17 1810 Library Health & Welfare Check Parent called concerned about a 1115 student. After a search of the library, the results were negative. Parent was contacted and campus police were told the student was ok in route home. 1702-0022 2-16-17 1945 Lot H Hit & Run Officer arrived on Lot H to observe damage on the passenger and driver s side of the vehicle from hit and run. 1702-0023 2-17-17 1856 CMRC Disorderly Conduct Campus Police were called JA

because a student was refusing to leave without obtaining their drivers license. Residential Hall visitors policy states that visitors must be signed out by the person who signs you in. The visitors decided to come back later to get their license. 1702-0024 2-18-17 1343 NSU Medical Call Victim was experiencing severe stomach pains and vomiting after eating. EMS was contacted and transported victim to Bowie Health Center. 1702-0025 2-19-16 0012 Guard Booth Assault 1 st degree Security Guard was setting up traffic control cones for a security check point at the guard entrance to campus when a vehicle entering campus sped passed her as she was signaling for them to slow down and ran over the Security Guard s foot. The Security Guard could not identify the vehicle nor the tag number to the vehicle. EMS was called and victim was transported to Bowie Health Center. 1702-0026 2-19-16 0324 Guard Booth Disorderly Conduct Security Guard asked a student for their I.D. when gaining entrance to the campus. The passenger(s) in the vehicle became irate and campus police were contacted. Once on the scene, all complied with the 1144 1142 JA 1143

request of showing I.D. and gained access to enter campus. 1702-0027 2-19-16 0746 Lot F Trespassing Student was playing loud music from their vehicle. The student has access to campus during weekdays only. Police escorted them off campus with a trespass warning and a reminder of when they can be on campus. 1702-0028 2-19-17 1613 Holmes Trespassing A suspended student was in the resident hall with a current BSU student. The student was explained what documents were needed in order to gain access to campus and escorted off campus. 1702-0029 2/20/17 1115 Robinson Lost Property Victim lost a car key and resident hall key. Steps were backtracked to find the missing items with negative results. 1702-0030 2/21/17 0850 Robinson Cir EPS Former student with a mental disorder approached McKeldin Gym to speak with Campus Chief of Police pertaining to an incident (1510-0025) which occurred. The subject was not properly medicated as reported by a family member who arrived to speak with Chief as well. The subject was transported to Laurel Regional Hospital for a medical evaluation. 1702-0031 2/21/17 2246 Haley Medical Emergency Student had an asthma attack and reported they were experiencing an elevated heart 1144 JA 1136 1115 JA 1143

rate. EMS was contacted and transported the victim to Laurel Regional Hospital. 1702-0032 2/22/17 2330 CMRC CDS Campus Police were contacted for loud noise coming from a resident hall. Police responded to the dwelling with residential assistants. There was a pungent marijuana odor in the dwelling. No CDS or paraphernalia was observed. Occupants were identified and referred to Judicial Affairs. 1702-0033 2/22/17 2334 CMRC Trespassing Banned student was seen entering CMRC and went to an unknown location. The student was identified by RA Staff. Referred to Judicial Affairs. 1702-0034 2/22/17 1322 CMRC Welfare Check Two student were concerned about another student they had not seen and who was not responding to phone calls. The student was having some personal issues and eventually, contact was made. The student was referred to counseling services onsite. 1702-0035 2/22/17 1804 CBGS Lost Property Student advised campus police she lost her purse which contained several personal items Victim is advised to contact her bank to cancel her bankcard. 1702-0036 2/22/17 2013 Haley Medical Call (sig 66) Campus Police was notified of a possible suicide attempt. Upon JA 1132 JA 1132 JA 1128 JA

arrival to the residence hall, a student was found with on the bed with blood running down the forearm and wrist from cuts. Direct pressure was applied to the wound until EMS arrived and transported the victim to Laurel Regional Hospital. Contact was made with the victims parent. 1702-0037 2/23/17 0358 Haley Medical Call Campus police were notified by 1143 security personnel of EMS responding to Haley Hall. Police responded and were informed a student cut their hand and finger trying to open a glass bottle. EMS transported victim to Bowie Health Center. 1702-0038 2/23/17 0351 Haley Report Number Obtained In See incident report 1702-0037 1143 ERROR 1702-0039 02/23/17 1048 MLK Assault 2 nd Degree Altercation occurred between a 1140 student and faculty member. Referred to Judicial affairs 1702-0040 2-23-17 1510 CMRC Burglary 6 (b) - $50.00 Victim stated a 1115 $50.00 bill was missing from a bag, which was kept in their room. The suite door was locked when they left the room. Upon their return to the room, one roommate was in the suite. No signs of forced entry. Camera s footage is being reviewed. 1702-0041 2-23-17 2315 Lot D Impound Vehicle was towed from lot D 1142

because it had a tag pickup order issued by Maryland State Police. Vehicle was impounded 1702-0042 2-24-17 0135 Disorderly A group of 50 or more students were illegally in the MLK building having a party. They were escorted out by public safety. It was later discovered that they went to the football field to continue the party. When police arrived to shut down the unauthorized party, (large crowd at 100 +), one student became irate, belligerent and non-complaint. The party eventually dispersed. JA 1132 1702-0043 2-24-17 1317 NSU Theft 6(e) Theft= $200.Victim laid the 1144 I-pad down while waiting in line to purchase his food. He left the line to sit down and realized he left the I-pad. Once he returned, the I-pad was gone. Video footage revealed an unidentified individual taking the item. 1702-0044 2/27/17 1140 MLK Theft 6(a) Theft - $300. - Victim 1147 responded to campus safety to report a missing phone. Victim returned to the place the phone was last seen to locate it, with negative results. An app search was conducted for the phone and showed it was not on campus. 1702-0045 2/27/17 1649 CMRC Unauthorized Entry Two students entered CMRC JA 1115

without authorization. When asked to stop, they continued walking to the 2 nd floor. 1702-0046 2/28/17 0748 Robinson Hall Injured Employee Staff member tripped while walking in the office. Staff member did not immediately report the incident and was treated two days after the initial incident. 1147
