House sales increased 4.1% from the same time last year, to 230. The moving annual median sale price for units/flats/townhouses in increased by 12.0% to $232,250 from May 2006 to May 2007. Over that same time period, the number of units/flats/townhouses sold increased 10.8% to 72 sales. The moving annual median sale price for land rose 9.5% for the year - to $109,795 - with land sales falling 40.7% to 32 over the same period. s moving annual median sale price for houses rose by 7.3% to $234,375 from May 2006 to May 2007. Over the year, house sales decreased 2.1% to 95. There was an increase of 4.5% in the moving annual median sale price for units/flats/townhouses in over the year to $192,438, with sales volume rising 8.3% from May 2006. Over that same period, the moving annual median sale price for land in decreased by 5.0% to $95,729, with total land sales rising 21.4% from the same time last year. North-West moving annual median sale prices for houses improved in Burnie (7.5%), Ulverstone (25.4%) and Devonport (3.2%) over the year. Compared with May 2006, the monthly median was up in Ulverstone (10.0%), Devonport (1.4%), but down in Burnie (-11.8%). volume of houses compared to the same time last year were up in Burnie (46.7%) and Ulverstone (7.1%), but down in Devonport (-12.0%). The moving annual median sale price for land was up in Burnie (12.0%) and down in Ulverstone (-2.4%) and Devonport (-0.2%) from May 2006. Land sales were up in Burnie (33.3%) and Devonport (400.0%), whilst down in Ulverstone from the same time last year. Rental : Vacancy rates rose across the State in May 2007 (2.3% state-wide). From last month, and decreased 0.2%, and the North West Centres decreased 0.1%. Median rental price per week for two bedroom units in rose $25 to $225 per week, while three bedroom house rental prices dropped $5 to $265 per week. s median rental prices per week for two bedroom units rose $5 last month to $170, with 3 bedroom houses rising $7 to $230. In the North West, rentals rose $5 to $135 for units, and remained steady at $190 for houses.
