Summer is over and school has begun!!! Please use extra caution for kids at the bus stops in the morning and afternoons. With that said, the speed limit is posted in the neighborhood at 25 mph. That is not a suggestion. Go 25 or slower please!! We have a new basketball goal down at the beach. Please enjoy the new goal and get some good exercise. Please clean up and respect the beach access as if it were your own yard. Please remember to lock the gate upon entrance and upon exiting. The neighborhood is looking great. Keep up the hard work. Please remember the city of Azle trash pickup rules. You can find a lot of information on the website. http://www.cityofazle.org This is a little information about trash pickup. Garbage must be placed at curbside by 7:00 am to ensure pickup and may not be placed for collection earlier than 7 p.m. the day before the scheduled day for collection. Please store all containers out of site. The Holiday season is upon us. I hope everyone can spread a little cheer throughout the rest of the year. I hope everyone has a pleasant day. A big thanks to John Capko for coordinating and overseeing the repair of the retaining wall at our beach. This new construction contains anchored rebar to insure it will not fall again. This summer, your board members spent a hot morning making repairs to the beach area. Repairs included; Replace broken fence panels and dock deck boards. Cleaned and painted grills. Repaired lighting for covered picnic tables. Painted benches on dock. Tightened screws on playground.
