INVITATION TO SPONSOR SNAICC invites you to take part in the 8th SNAICC National Conference: Growing up with Strong Identity, Strong Culture and Strong Connection. The SNAICC National Conference is one of largest of its type and provides the opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, policy makers, researchers, government representatives, other non-government organisations and industry representatives to gather and make renewed commitments to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. The conference will be appropriately held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, in the lands of the Kaurna people. The 8 th SNAICC National Conference will bring together government, grass-roots experts and community to share their unique perspectives on what they have learned in building systems and practices that support our children and families to thrive. We anticipate attracting over 1000 delegates from around the country to this important gathering, which will feature presentations and discussion panels from local and international speakers, up to 70 concurrent sessions, yarning circles and workshops. The event provides exposure over a three-day period and is a great opportunity to promote your organisation or service to a select audience. All sponsors will receive acknowledgement on conference materials, conference website and during proceedings, and exhibitors will be promoted and offered strong exposure to delegates attending. ABOUT SNAICC SNAICC National Voice for our Children is the national non-government peak body in Australia representing the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. What we do SNAICC works for the fulfilment of the rights of our children, in particular to ensure their safety, development and wellbeing. We are governed by a Board of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders from the child safety, development and wellbeing sectors. SNAICC protects and promotes the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families by: providing support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, including resources, publications and training conducting research, writing policy papers and providing advice to governments on issues relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families acting as a collective voice for SNAICC member organisations, lobbying for change and equality fostering partnerships and undertaking joint projects with other NGOs, including mainstream agencies, to improve their service delivery to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children participating on various committees to advocate on behalf of our children and families and member organisation organising major events, including National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children s Day and the biennial SNAICC conference. 8 th SNAICC National Conference Sponsorship and Exhibition Opportunities 3

ABOUT the CONFERENCE SNAICC is the national non-government peak body in Australia representing the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families. The conference is convened to assist with the achievement of the SNAICC vision: an Australian society in which our communities are empowered to determine their own future, where the rights of our children, young people and families are protected, our cultural identity and achievements are valued, and our children and families have access to culturally appropriate services. As the largest conference of its type in the southern hemisphere the SNAICC conference provides the opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, policy makers, researchers, government representatives, other non-government organisations and industry representatives to gather and make renewed commitments to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. The conference provides a powerful and inspiring learning experience for attendees and features: International and local keynote speakers Over 70 concurrent sessions, yarning circles, panels and workshops Displays, poster presentations, exhibitors Cultural highlights and performances Social events and opportunities to network and connect with peers It is expected that the 2019 conference will again attract a diverse audience of over 1000 participants from all over the country. They have succeeded on both counts. They have a global reputation for excellence, as reflected by a string of awards and a high rate of repeat business, and to date the centre has created more than $1.4 billion in economic benefit for South Australia. The centre has completed three major extensions in the past three decades the most recent their striking new East Building. When the East Building officially opened in August 2017, they added an additional 3000 square metres of space to the complex. Each year the centre runs around 700 individual events, hosting approximately 200,000 delegates and guests, and prepare and serve some 45,000 meals. The centre also thank and acknowledge the Kaurna people of the Adelaide Plains, the traditional custodians of the land on which the Centre is built. Exhibition Opportunities The SNAICC 2019 Conference Exhibition will be located in Halls F & G of the Adelaide Convention Centre, for the full duration of the Conference Program. All lunch, morning and afternoon teas will be served within the exhibition area, providing excellent networking opportunities for delegates and exhibitors alike. Corporate Exhibition Stand $2,310 Community Exhibition Stand $1,732.50 Each individual exhibition stand includes: 1 x black carpeted display stand 3m x 3m 2 x 150 watt spotlights; 1 x 4 amp single power point; 1 x fascia sign with company name; 1 x table; and 2 x chairs. CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellations will only be accepted in writing via scanned email, mail or fax and must be signed by the person whose signature appears on this booking form (or their nominee). Cancellations received on or before Wednesday 15 May 2019 will have all payments returned less a $150 administration fee. Cancellations received from Thursday 16 May 2019 and prior to Friday 14 June 2019 will forfeit the 50% payment forwarded with this application. Cancellations from Friday 14 July 2019 onwards will receive no refund and will be liable for payment of the balance should it not have been received by the cancellation date. Resale of cancelled bookings: If we are not able to resell the Sponsorship Package no refund is payable regardless of when advice is provided. In case of resale, an administration fee of 25% of the total price is retained. Terms & Conditions The Conference host and organiser will take all diligent care to fulfil the listed sponsorship commitments. The Conference partners are responsible for providing all the requirements (i.e. banners, promotional material and any other material). Sponsors and exhibitors are responsible for the security of their own equipment and materials whilst at the Conference. Your sponsorship selection will be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit.
