Due to these renovations there have been instances of Taxi Scammers taking advantage of the confusion so please follow these instructions and please note again if you can t locate our representative please call our local office and only speak directly with them. This service includes a Spanish speaking driver only. Santiago, Chile s capital and largest city, lies in a valley surrounded by the snow-capped mountains of the Andes and the Chilean Coastal Range. Founded in 1541, Santiago has been Chile s capital since colonial times. It is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city and although it features many colonial buildings, it has grown into a modern metropolis and the cultural centre of the country.

DAY 2: Santiago Panoramic City Tour This morning, you will be collected from your hotel for your tour of Santiago. Visit both the old and new areas of the city. Highlights include the Plaza de Armas, the city's central square and the heart of the city s old colonial core. The Plaza de Armas is home to the beautiful 18th century Metropolitan Cathedral, the early 19th century Royal Court Palace that houses the Natural History Museum and the Central Post Office completed in 1882. Will continue along the Government Palace and where we will have the opportunity to walk through some of the most traditional streets and neighbourhoods. Visit Cerro Santa Lucia, the hill on which Santiago was founded in 1541, now a park with fountains and stairs leading to a fort and panoramic viewpoint across the city. On completion of your tour, you will be taken to your hotel. Please note this is small group tour and only operates in the morning. DAY 3: Full Day Valparaiso Tour This morning you will be collected from hotel and travel west towards the Pacific Ocean, to Valparaiso, Chile's oldest port, known as the Jewel of the Pacific and the cultural capital of Chile with festivals every year and a number of street artists and musicians. Its charming, picturesque and colourful houses are set on cobblestone alleyways in the hills that surround the city, creating a natural amphitheatre. In the 19th century, Valparaiso saw an influx of European immigrants. The historic quarter of Valparaiso was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2003 based on its unique architecture and urban design. The city s system of funicular lifts was declared one of the world s most endangered historical treasures by the World Monuments Fund in 1996. A short drive along the coast will allow us to have a perfect view of the hills and the city. We walk around the town to discover hidden treasures such as art galleries, small cafes, breweries and the house of the famous Chilean Poet, Pablo Neruda. At the end of the tour, we will return to Santiago and you will be taken to your hotel. Please note this is a small group tour.

DAY 4: Transfer to the Bus Station for onward destination Transfer from your hotel to the bus station for your onward journey. Travel by bus from Santiago to Mendoza in Argentina. This is a spectacular journey through the Andes taking around 6 hours. If you are lucky to have a clear day you may catch a glimpse of Aconcagua the highest peak in the Andes. Arrival into Mendoza and transfer to your hotel. Mendoza, in a region of foothills and high plains, is the heart of Argentina's wine country, famed for Malbecs and other red wines. The city has wide, leafy avenues, atmospheric plazas and cosmopolitan cafes. The city has five central plazas, the four smaller plazas surrounding the main Plaza Independencia. DAY 5: Wine Experience - Lujan de Cuyo Luján de Cuyo is widely known for its terroir, which is perfectly suited for Malbec. Of course, Malbec is a blending grape of French origin, but it is in this region that the grape gained world-wide notice for single varietal wines. With this in mind, we will visit one of the visionaries of Argentine wine, Bodega Catena Zapata. His innovation and entrepreneurial spirit have helped turn Malbec into the emblematic wine of Argentina that it is today. After a tour of Catena with a tasting of Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and, of course, Malbec), we will move on to Ruca Malen, a winery that represents indigenous legends, and ultimately, a history of the land. You will have the chance to taste each of their lines, Yauquén, Ruca Malen, and Kinién. Lastly, we will head to Norton, a winery with one of the longest traditions of winemaking. The visit at Norton includes a series of tastings of wine throughout the stages of production with a Blend-Your-Own wine activity and lunch at the end.

DAY 6: Mendoza City Tour We will pick you up and head for the most important and interesting places in Mendoza city. We will start the tour by visiting the Foundational Area, the oldest side of the city. Then we stop at Independencia Square, which is the main focal área in downtown Mendoza. Next, we will visit the General San Martin Park, which is one of the most important artificial parks in Argentina, not only for its huge extension but also for the proximity to the city. We will finish the trip visiting the Cerro de la Gloria s Monument, which has an amazing panoramic view of the city. DAY 7: Transfer to the airport for onward destination Transfer to the airport for your outward flight from Mendoza. On arrival, please make your way through to the Arrivals Hall where our representative will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel. He/she will be holding a sign with your name on it. Should you not be able to locate them, please refer to the front of your itinerary for emergency contact details of our representative office. Known as the ''Cidade Maravilhosa'', or Marvellous City, Rio never fails to amaze with its sandy beaches, carefree lifestyle and unparalleled natural beauty. As the capital of Brazil until 1960, Rio is today one of the most culturally and economically prominent cities in the country, receiving more tourists than any other part of Brazil.

DAY 8: Corcovado & Sugarloaf with Lunch After an early pick up from your hotel, this tour makes its way to the bottom of Corcovado Hill, where we ascend the mountain by vehicle. Climbing 4km through the Tijuca Forest, the world s largest urban National Park, we will arrive at the statue of Christ the Redeemer. After taking in the panoramic views, continue to the Maracana Stadium. We also pass the Sambadrome and the Metropolitan Cathedral, before passing through the bohemian neighbourhood of Lapa and its famous arches en-route to Copacabana. Enjoy a traditional Brazilian BBQ lunch (beverages not included) before visiting the famous Sugarloaf Mountain with views across the entire city. After descending the mountain, you will be dropped off at your hotel. Please note this is a small group tour. DAY 9: Rio de Janeiro - Free Day Today is a free day for you to relax on one of Rio s famous beaches such as Ipanema or Copacabana, or explore the city further at your leisure.

DAY 10: Transfer from Rio to Buzios Transfer from Rio de Janeiro to Buzios. The beautiful seaside resort town of Buzios sits on a peninsula, surrounded by more than 20 stunning beaches and crystal clear water. Once a simple fishing village, it now boasts fine restaurants, bars, villas and boutiques. Buzios is a small and sophisticated paradise, combining rustic charm and incredible beauty with its narrow cobblestone streets and picturesque waterfront. The west coast offers calm, clear waters, whilst on the east, the waters are more suited to surfing and water sports. The trolley is a special vehicle adapted for this sightseeing tour to ensure unobstructed views of the beautiful Buzios peninsular. Relax in one of the beach lounges, spend the afternoon shopping in the boutique stores, or enjoy a delicious seafood meal at a beachfront restaurant.

DAY 13: Transfer from Buzios to Rio Transfer from Buzios to Rio de Janeiro On arrival, please make your way through to the Arrivals Hall where our representative will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel. He/she will be holding a sign with your name on it. Should you not be able to locate them, please refer to the front of your itinerary for emergency contact details of our representative office. *Please note the Iguazu Tourist Tax will now be charged on check out at all Iguazu hotels. The amount is currently ARS50 (USD3.40) per person per stay. Please note this tax is subject to change without prior notice. The spectacular Iguazu Falls that straddle the Argentine-Brazil border, are made up of 275 individual waterfalls lining a 2.7km wide horseshoe-shaped gorge. The Falls are located where the Iguazu River cascades over the edge of the Paraná Plateau. The Falls can be viewed from both the Argentinian and the Brazilian sides, the Brazilian side offering a broader, panoramic view, with the Argentinian side offering a series of catwalks that allow you to experience the Falls from close range.

DAY 14: Iguazu Argentinian Falls Early morning pick up from your hotel for your full day of exploring the Argentine side of the falls. This tour always starts early in order to beat the crowds and get the first train to the Devil s Throat. There are walkways over the islands which take you to a balcony over the falls and the most spectacular view of the entire Devil s Gorge. You will then have plenty of time to walk the 800 metres of paths on the upper circuit. These new suspended walkways are detached from the jungle surface so as to protect the fauna by preventing disruption of the natural trails. From this circuit you have a higher sight of the falls, providing you with a magnificent panoramic view. It takes around one hour to cover the upper circuit. The lower circuit contains 600 metres of walkways, also detached from the jungle floor, and has great views from below and around the falls. Once you have finished all the circuits, return to the visitor centre where your vehicles will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel. Please note there is some degree of difficulty as the path includes many stairs, particularly on the lower circuit. National Park fee is included. On completion of the tour, you will be taken to your hotel. Please note this is small group tour. DAY 15: Iguazu Brazil Falls Tour & Transfer to IGU (Apt) After checking out, you will be collected from your hotel for your tour of the Brazilian Falls and transfer to the airport. See see the falls from the Brazilian side of the border. After arriving at the visitor centre, we board buses for a tour of the park. Equipped with panoramic windows, the buses are designed to maximize your views of the falls, while the walkways and steps allow you to get up close to the spray. Views of the Floriana Falls, the Devil s Gorge Canyon and the Iguazu River are spectacular and are guaranteed to impress. National park fee included. After the tour you will be transferred to the airport in time to check in for your flight. This is a small group tour and transfer. INCLUSIONS & DETAILS Accommodation
