WHY STIHL CUTS IT WITH TREESCAPE Treescape has been trialing and using STIHL battery-powered machines over the past two years, we have used Cordless Chainsaws, Hedgetrimmers and Pole Pruners. The machine that impressed us most was the Cordless Pole Pruner this had a number of very useful design features, particularly the harness. Petrol-powered Pole Pruners can be heavy and create fumes around the worker, which is not ideal. The STIHL battery-operated version is lighter and can be held closer to the operator without causing safety problems. STIHL Cordless definitely cuts it with us! AR 900 Backpack Battery This well-designed, comfortable backpack will give you up to 110 minutes with the Blower, up to 180 minutes using the Chainsaw and up to 660 minutes with the Hedgetrimmer, before recharging is needed. Another first from STIHL a 9 Cut-Off Saw with a 230mm cutting wheel. Weighing 3.9kg (without the battery), it is able to cut to a depth of 70mm with a choice of STIHL Abrasive Wheels which can cut through steel, metal pipes, concrete, bricks and roof tiles, getting the job done inside or outside. The STIHL TSA 230 is a lightweight, compact and easy to use machine. Because of its small size it is easy to store in the van and pull out as you need it. It is great to have on hand when a tricky piece of concrete needs to be cut or an excess piece of steel needs to be trimmed. The fast recharge time on the battery took away the frustrations of some battery operated tools.
