The Banks Project Results to Date
Bid Package #12 Progress Part 1 Elements (TC-30) Reconstruction of Freedom Way, Rosa Parks Street to Walnut Street Second Street pedestrian improvements, Elm Street to Main Street Public safety technologies Removal of Race Street south of Freedom Way (complete) Theodore M. Berry Way Round-A-Bout (complete) Mehring Way pedestrian signal (complete) October & November Progress Second Street waterproofing underway. Theodore M. Berry Way Round-A-Bout open; final lane striping complete. Public safety technology installation 80% complete. Garage wayfinding is 95% complete. Maintenance of traffic plans implemented as needed. New-worker safety orientations continue; weekly safety audits continue to yield positive results.

Bid Package #12 Progress Part 2 Elements (TC-29) Roebling Bridge Pedestrian Connector (complete) River Walk and Ohio River Trail along Mehring Way (complete) Broadway & East Pete Rose Way pedestrian bridge, Intermodal Staging Area October & November Progress Ohio River Trail/River Walk is open. Pete Rose Way pedestrian bridge and stair tower open; lighting ceremony held November 25. Broadway Lot completed and parking equipment installed; open for daily parkers and special events.

Development Update 92% Occupied on Inline Retail 100% Leased & Occupied on Residential Sold a portion of Phase 1A (including multifamily apartments and ground floor retail below the apartments) to NIC Riverbanks One, LLC which is an affiliate of the Nicol Investment Company with headquarters in Nashville TN 12
Economic Inclusion Report
Economic Inclusion Economic Inclusion outcomes as of October 31, 2013: Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation for professional services is 19.5% vs. goal of 10%. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation Bid Package #12-1: 5.2% (vs. 9% commitment) Bid Package #12-2: 15.6% (vs. 16.3% commitment) Combined minority/female workforce participation is 17.56% (September 1, 2008 through October 31, 2013) vs. goal of 22% measured in work hours. Employees living within the 15-county Cincinnati-Middletwon Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) represented 100% of the construction workforce. (There are no local residency participation goals.) Safety Report Phase 1 and Phase 2a construction with Messer as the construction manager closed out with no losttime accidents in over 416,000 hours worked. Current ongoing work in Phase 2a has also had no lost-time accidents with Jacobs Engineering providing safety oversight.

Cincinnati Parks Managed Work Smale Riverfront Park October & November Completed east end landscaping, east sidewalk, river wall cap replacement and railing installation. Work in Adventure Playground began in October, including underground storm, electric, and landscaping: trees, lawn, and irrigation installation. Playground area demolition, rough grading, and layout began in November. Progress on phase 4 Vine Street Fountain and Carousel project continued, with progress in underground storm and sanitary sewers, and water and electric utility installation. Phase 4 grade beams and forming/placement for a new north structural wall began in October. Slab on grade and column placement began in November and will continue through December. Fountain pump room design finalized and underground plumbing for fountain features was completed in late November.
