ANNUAL HALLOWEEN BBQ

Marilyn Edwards was born in Oakland, California in 1935, and is and only child. She has a B.A. in business administration from San Jose State University. She worked in medical billing and coding for many years, as well as a teachers aide. She had two children, Sandy and Eric, with her late husband. She is extremely close to her children and they are incredibly loving and caring. She s now married to her husband Ken, who is also a resident here at Carlton. In the past, Marilyn loved traveling. She traveled overseas to Italy, Norway, and Scotland, as well as through the United States including Hawaii and Alaska. She enjoyed volunteering at a local hospital and for Lifeline for twenty years. Her father taught her the art of fishing in rivers and streams, which they did together on family camping trips, and in high school she started alpine skiing. She always loved being outdoors, and still enjoys gardening and exercising. Carlton Senior Living, Memory Care Unit would like to announce Aruna Chand as this months Employee spotlight. Aruna was born in September in the Fiji Islands. What Aruna loves most about her job is being able to help the residents, listening to their past stories, looking at old photographs, getting to know each and every one of them personally, and meeting new people. This dedicated woman started Working for our company 9 years ago and has loved her Job ever since. It has been with great pleasure to work with Aruna and to have her a part of our Carlton Family.
