Visa Foreign nationals wishing to enter the Republic of Korea to attend the 54 th CCOP Annual Session and the 71 st Steering Committee Meeting are required to have a valid passport and a Korean visa issued by the Korean embassies or consular offices in your countries. In order to check whether you are allowed to enter Korea without visa issuance and for other requirements, please contact the Korean embassies or consular offices. Upon your request for the visa, KIGAM will issue a letter of invitation to your affiliated organization by email. If you need the letter of invitation, please email us in advance. Introduction of Busan Metropolitan City Busan is the second largest city in Korea. Its deep harbor and gentle tides have allowed it to grow into the largest container handling port in the country and the fifth largest in the world. The city's natural endowments and rich history have resulted in Busan's increasing reputation as a world class city for tourism and culture, and it is also becoming renowned as a hot spot destination for international conventions. Approximately, 2.7 million tourists visit Busan every year. The natural environment of Busan is a harmonious relationship of mountains, rivers and sea. Its geography includes a coastline featuring superb beaches and scenic cliffs, mountains which provide excellent hiking and extraordinary views with hot springs scattered throughout the city. Especially, Haeundae district in Busan is home to a variety of scenic landscapes and events including a beach of youth that brims with the blue sea. Oryukdo Islets which has 12 geological trails, with its spectacular views.; Gwangandaegyo Bridge, with its glorious lights at night; Haeundae Hot Spring, where you can heal your body and mind with seawater mineral water; Jangsan Mountain, which boasts a stunning night view of Busan.
