5 Centre Details CAE London Gatwick is located at Manor Royal, close to Gatwick airport. The training centre houses 8 full flight Simulators for the aircraft types A320, A330/340, B737NG/CL,B757/767, Embraer 190 as well as FTD s, CBT and classrooms for advanced pilot training. The Customer Services Team is dedicated to helping customers with all training-related matters and to assist with any hotel and transport arrangements. Our aim is to make your stay productive and pleasant and to provide assistance with any queries you may have. The main desk is manned by Customer Services from Mon-Fri. In the case of an emergency, please follow local instructions. If there is an evacuation, assemble at the Muster point in the main car park at the front of building. 17 Centre Facilities Reception & Registration Customer Services is open Mon-Fri. ID is required for entry (passport, flight licence, airline ID). Outside normal office hours, please use the intercom system if you are not in possession of a swipe card or entry code. This will put you through to the engineers on site who will assist with access. Smoking Areas Smoking is not permitted in the training centre there is a designated area outside the front of the building. Restroom Facilities Restroom facilities are located on both the ground and first floors. Parking There is parking at the front and rear of the building. Summer: Ranges from 15 C (cloudy and some rain) to 25 C (not too often but it does happen!). Currency & Banking British Pound, GBP. Most international credit cards are accepted in the UK. For exchange there are several banks and exchange companies at Gatwick Airport or in banks in Crawley. Getting Around Car rental and taxis should be arranged through Customer Services. Number 10 and 100 buses run from the airport to Manor Royal and Crawley. Electricity Voltage 220V Shopping Local shopping in Crawley. For a day out, London is only minutes by train from Gatwick to Victoria on either the Gatwick Express or Southern Railways.
