4 Andrew from Charlotte Mecklenburg County Stormwater Services Talked about storm drains and protecting water quality Increase in horizontal drilling Discharging a slurry into ground and this is against the ordinance Penalties and fines for drilling impacts Use of silt screens- removing silt screens after construction Andrew left information, and said they can come out and look at current projects to see what companies are doing and if it is up to code Dump sites- Not one in city but private contractors are starting to look at this

Kate Powers- PRG o 64 Damages o 47 Telephone Hits o 3 Didn t have locates Roundtable Will Pillow- Talked about a contact list for facility owners After hours contacts were discussed

6 It was noted that there is a damage contact list on the app Discussed the difference between an abandon facility and a live facility Discussion about abandon lines and how facility owners need to know where they are. Discussion about excavator responsibility vs. facility owner responsibility AT&T had someone in Texas who died last week, got electrocuted because of improper grounding. Reminder of being safe. May 2 nd - 6 th - OSHA Stand down week, talk with crews Charlotte Water- Locating Sewer, point manhole to manhole in green since October Any sewer and gravity fed lines installed before October 2014 are not required to be locatable.
