2 A PFECTLY IN EXPIENCE America is a country defined by explorers and powered by dreamers. At the American Queen Steamboat Company, we are honored to be part of the dream of American river cruising with the magnificent American Queen, the largest and most opulent riverboat in the world. The welcoming appearance of the vessel is complemented by a culture of gracious service, elegant décor, rousing entertainment and rewarding enrichment experiences. All this is coupled with an in-depth exploration of the cities, towns and historical sites that make up the fabric of the United States. We are amazed at the heartfelt response to the American Queen and the amenities we provide, such as deluxe hotel stays before each voyage, included shore excursions in every port of call and a host of complimentary onboard amenities. Every great accomplishment can be improved upon. The American Queen has just emerged from a stunning refurbishment with expanded dining venues, enhanced public spaces, refreshed but authentic antebellum décor and a renewed commitment to defining the American river cruise experience. Beginning in the spring of 2014, our elegant and intimate style of travel expands to the Pacific Northwest and the Columbia and Snake Rivers. The soaring mountains, dramatic landscapes, abundant wildlife and frontier spirit of the fascinating West are the perfect complements to the cultural history, quiet towns and genteel character of our voyages on the Mississippi, Ohio, Tennessee and Cumberland Rivers. Just as the American Queen embodies the Heartland and the legacy of Mark Twain, the American Empress was designed specifically to celebrate the rich tradition of exploration in the West. As the American Empress TM travels between Portland, Oregon and Clarkston, Washington, you will trace the footsteps of Lewis and Clark surrounded by all the comforts of modern luxury. Over two hundred years ago President Thomas Jefferson charged the Corps of Discovery with the mission to reach the Pacific Ocean. The wonders they discovered in their courageous quest are now the majestic backdrop and inspirational destinations that the American Empress reveals to you in a pampered and modern environment unimaginable to Lewis and Clark so long ago. Explore overlooks used by these intrepid explorers, charming towns nestled along the river and vineyards that produce some of the finest wines in the world. No matter which of our riverboats captures your imagination and no matter which region wins your heart, you will experience a vacation unlike any other. Consider celebrating with us some of the themes that embrace American traditions and history; themes such as the Fourth of July, Southern Culture, Good Old Summertime, Baseball Legends, Bourbon & Bluegrass, Old-Fashioned Holidays, and Elvis Presley on the American Queen or Lewis & Clark and the Wine Trail on display on the American Empress. Nature s beauty and the historical tapestry that blankets this land have been in the making for countless generations. We invite you to join our friendly American crew and get to know America s hidden treasures in peerless comfort and luxurious style. Welcome aboard, Ted Sykes President and COO AUSTRALIA OFFICE PO BOX 677, Milsons Point, NSW 1565 Tel: info@aqsc.com.au NEW ZEALAND OFFICE PO Box 28887, Remuera, Auckland 1541 Tel: cruise@cruising.co.nz 2

4 TRAVEL IS GLORIOUS ONCE MORE Have you ever wondered what this country looked like to its early explorers and pioneers? The great rivers of America were the highways of early exploration. Stories and surprises lie around every bend surrounded by magnificent scenery. Our journeys through the heartland offer a unique perspective on America s history, culture and landscape that you can t get anywhere else: up-close, in-depth and unforgettable. Traveling on the Mighty Mississippi and its tributaries aboard the American Queen, you will be transported back in time, to an era of leisurely and romantic travel. Longer than a football field and towering six decks in height, she is the largest riverboat in the world and a marvel of American engineering. Laced with gingerbread trim, fluted stacks and a giant red paddlewheel, she is a sight to behold. Her interiors are equally magnificent, resplendent in polished mahogany, rich fabrics and Tiffany glass. As opulent as she is, you will find an atmosphere that is warm, welcoming and friendly as her proper southern origins require. Her all-american crew is the epitome of Southern Hospitality and the reason so many of our guests return time and time again. Crewmembers take genuine delight in ensuring that every request is fulfilled and every detail tended to. And with only 432 guests onboard, you will witness something wondrous as your journey progresses. When you choose to share your vacation with us, you will share it with like-minded peers and friendships follow naturally. Along the way, a kaleidoscope of destinations awaits. Menu choices are many, including made-to-order omelets; egg strudel with spinach, tomato and feta; simple oatmeal; andouille hash with corn cakes; and decadent bananas foster french toast. Choices are equally abundant for lunch. Make it as light or as hearty as you wish, sampling from an extensive buffet or enjoying a leisurely lunch with traditional service in the main dining room. Both feature creative soups, salads, heartier fare and a sumptuous array of desserts. For an informal lunch with a view, our alternative dining venues offer a cornucopia of choices freshly made salads, burgers, exquisite hot and cold entrées, along with desserts and the ever popular ice cream and sundae bar. 10 HISTORY AND SCENY MULTNOMAH FALLS, OREGON SHILOH NATIONAL MILITARY PARK HISTORIC RIVS SHOW YOU THE WONDS OF A CONTINENT Rugged mountains with mantles of snow tower over wilderness rivers. Southern belles in period hoop skirts and bonnets greet you with a mint julep beneath a row of 200-year old oak trees. Log cabins along the Mississippi River and frontier forts on bluffs above the Columbia River reflect the pioneering spirit of America. Magnolia trees blossom, wild salmon swim upriver, vineyards hug the Washington hills and stately antebellum plantations touch the water s edge in Louisiana. History and scenic vistas combine on a voyage with the American Queen Steamboat Company as rivers transport you to lands of wonder and times long forgotten. Give yourself over to the voices of history. Mark Twain s words echo on the quiet streets of Hannibal, Missouri where Tom Sawyer and his friends whitewashed picket fences. Along the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers, silent battlefields stand in mute testimony to the thunder and rhetoric that spawned the Civil War. Thomas Jefferson s words to Lewis and Clark to find the most direct and practicable water communication across this continent take on new meaning in the unspoiled terrain of the Pacific Northwest, the Columbia River s gorges and the canyons of the Snake River. Native American chants and songs from Oregon to Tennessee and from Minnesota to Mississippi tell the story of a people who are one with the land. Revel in the sights, sounds and perfumed aromas of the South. From your perch on the American Queen, watch the mist rise off the quiet waters of the Tennessee or Cumberland Rivers, a rooster crowing in the distance. Inhale the sweet fragrance of historic Natchez gardens and the piquant aroma of Creole cuisine in magical New Orleans. In the West, the American Empress follows the Columbia River from the Pacific Ocean deep into the mountains. Waterfalls cascade into deep gorges and a bald eagle flies lazy circles in the unbreakable dome of blue sky overhead. From the decks of your riverboat, America s greatest scenic treasures glide by as you ve never seen them before. Celebrate America s beauty, culture and history through her rivers. 8

18 WELCOME TO THE LOW MISSISSIPPI THE RIV THAT DEFINES A NATION The lower stretch of the Mississippi, from carefree New Orleans to vibrant Memphis, is the river of legends. Old Man River has been celebrated in print, song and film for many generations. Control of the Mighty Mississippi was the key strategic goal of the Civil War and even today it is still the lifeblood of commerce in the Old South. This is the river of centuries-old shaded oak trees, elegant antebellum plantations, cobblestone streets and Victorian mansions. Hear the river s music in blues, jazz, zydeco and rock and roll and savor its diversity with a host of distinctive Creole and Cajun culinary delights. The world of Mark Twain s revered book Life on the Mississippi is best experienced from the vantage point of the graceful American Queen, the most opulent riverboat in the world. Celebrate New Orleans unabashed and unapologetic joy in the fine restaurants and sidewalk cafes of the French Quarter, the jazz clubs lining Bourbon Street and the strolling musicians in Jackson Square. Music is also the heart and soul of Memphis - from Elvis inspiring Graceland to the blues joints of Beale Street. The city s National Civil Rights Museum chronicles a long journey to freedom and the Stax Museum of American Soul Music records the rise of a beloved musical art form. Between these glittering cities is a necklace of traditional plantations and homes. Oak Alley transports you back to the era of hoop skirts, cotillions and cotton fields. The flowers, fountains and pathways found on the plantations in the area we affectionately refer to as Plantation Road are a testament to the Louisiana way of life before the Civil War. Natchez, Mississippi s captivating historic district shines in the lovingly-restored homes of Magnolia Hall, Rosalie Mansion and the William Johnson House. Thousands of tombstones which mark the fallen in Vicksburg, Mississippi reflect the tragic sacrifices of the Civil War. French Canadian fur trappers defined Cajun culture in bold Baton Rouge, Louisiana while the lost settlement of Bayou Sara below the bluffs of St. Francisville, Louisiana was once the busiest pre-civil War port between New Orleans and Memphis. This is the soul of the Mississippi River. Inhale the sweet fragrance of magnolia blossoms, sit in a rocking chair with a glass of sweet tea on the American Queen s Front Porch of America and watch the essence of the South unfold around you. 16 IN QUEEN

28 WELCOME TO THE UPP MISSISSIPPI TREASURES OF SUMM AND COLORS OF FALL The upper reaches of the Mississippi River from dynamic St. Louis to the twin cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul are rich with frontier tales of fur traders and pioneers set among picturesque geography and abundant wildlife. Hidden gems around each bend of the river fuel your sense of discovery as the very best of America s Heartland unfolds before you. St. Louis was the hub for riverboats traveling along the Mississippi and the jumping-off point for exploration and settlement of the West. Today, that heritage is reflected in the shining stainless steel Gateway Arch that curves above the skyline and in the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial that lies beneath. Upriver, St. Paul was once described by Mark Twain as a wonderful town put together in solid blocks of honest brick and stone, and has the air of intending to stay. In Minneapolis, its sister city across the Mississippi River, the Frank Gehry-designed Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum, the contemporary Walker Art Museum and the notable Minneapolis Institute of Arts are an art aficionado s dream. Perhaps no person defined America s view of its greatest river more than Mark Twain. Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn and Becky Thatcher are alive and well in Hannibal, Missouri, Samuel Clemens boyhood home. In Cape Girardeau, Missouri, an enormous mural painted on the floodwall that stretches the length of the downtown area immortalizes 275 years of local progress, wars and achievements. Fur trappers, Mormons, lumber jacks and railroad barons built La Crosse, Wisconsin while in Dubuque, Iowa, looks can be deceiving. What seems like a typical Midwestern city also happens to be one of the oldest European settlements west of the Mississippi River. Davenport, Iowa s influence is seen in the smokestacks on the American Queen, which fold forward so she can slip under bridges and power lines. In 1856, a steamboat rammed the city s newly-built railway bridge and a young lawyer named Abraham Lincoln successfully defended the Rock Island Railroad, suggesting the idea of telescoping chimneys to avoid future tragedies. In Wisconsin and Minnesota, wildlife takes center stage both on and above the rolling hills and limestone bluffs that cradle the river on its journey through the Heartland. Deer come to the water s edge and falcons and ospreys soar overhead. View an impressive population of bald eagles on an eco-cruise from Red Wing, Minnesota or at the National Eagle Center in nearby Wabasha. Let the seasons guide your travels as the lush green lawns and colorful flowerboxes of summer give way to the fiery reds, autumnal oranges and electric yellows of the trees celebrating the coming of fall. 26 IN QUEEN

30 UPP MISSISSIPPI THEMED VOYAGES GOOD OLD SUMMTIME Straw hats, suspenders, cool pitchers of lemonade, brass bands, picnics, ice cream socials and porch swings were part of the fabric of summer in America not all that long ago. Be transported to a simpler time when summer was about fun, freedom, friends and food. Fly kites off the top deck, enjoy apple pies and cherry cobbler and immerse yourself in the music and stories of a time gone by. (see page 30, 31, 33, 40,41 and 42 for itinerary) MUSIC OF THE 50 S Get ready to head to the malt shop in your poodle skirt as the 1950 s come alive through the music played on juke boxes across the country. Frank Sinatra s dulcet tones soar in Come Fly with Me, Peggy Lee s sensuous Fever takes you back, Nat King Cole is Unforgettable, Fats Domino finds a thrill on Blueberry Hill, and The Platters focus on Only You. (see page 24 and 31 for itinerary) MUSIC OF THE 60 S In a decade of change that ranged from Nehru jackets and casseroles to hippies and the peace movement, America expressed itself through music. Relive the groovy heyday of the Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Aretha Franklin, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan. The Corvette and the Mustang ruled the road, Pan Am ruled the skies and Bonanza ruled the Nielsen ratings. (see page 23 and 30 for itinerary) FALL COLORS Imagine a quilt of bright reds, electric oranges, effervescent yellows and rich golds laid gently over rolling hills, swaddling small towns and pressed neatly against the shoreline of a mighty river. Each autumn, nature takes out her paintbrush and splashes a riot of vibrant colors across the land, white church steeples poking up amidst the splendor. But look deeper and you ll see more than just fall foliage in all its glory; you ll see cities and towns come alive with pumpkin patches, children s face-painting booths, baking contests, apple-bobbing barrels and a generosity of spirit reflected in the unabashed smiles of the locals who greet the American Queen in every port. (see page 30, 31 and 34 for itinerary) BASEBALL LEGENDS America s pastime and the boys of summer are part of our national identity. Imagine the pennants snapping in the wind, peanuts in the shell, wooden bats and woolen uniforms. Hark back to the days when the exploits of Jackie Robinson, Joe DiMaggio and Babe Ruth were front-page news. You ll be joined by some of today s living legends for a vacation that s sure to be a home run. (see page 31 for itinerary) 28 IN QUEEN

41 CIVIL WAR A NATION AT WAR WITH ITSELF Delve into the strategies, military and political, that shaped the events of the American Civil War. Period characters will bring key historical figures to life. Visit the bloody battlefields and hallowed cemeteries of the fallen soldiers, and the ramparts that remind us of a war that changed a nation. Learn of the skirmishes that pitted brother against brother in a nation divided. It has been over 150 years since the start of a war that ravaged a young nation and produced more American casualties than any other conflict, before or since. The American Queen sails into the heart of the hallowed grounds that redefined a country. On our special 9-day voyages, May 9-17 and October 31 November 8, 2014, you will revisit the towns and battlefields of the lower Mississippi River from New Orleans, Louisiana to Memphis, Tennessee. In Vicksburg, Mississippi, pay your respects among the thousands of headstones in Vicksburg National Cemetery, view the remains of the gunboat USS Cairo in Vicksburg National Military Park and walk on the bucolic fields that were the scene of one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War. Learn how the lack of opposition in the Union capture of New Orleans in 1862 lead to the preservation of so many historic buildings today and hear the legends of the naval battles fought on the river outside Memphis. Discover that Natchez, Mississippi s extensive collection of antebellum homes is due to General Grant s decision not to destroy the city during his occupation in While most American Queen voyages through the American South allow a glimpse of Civil War history, our October 31 November 17, 2014 journey is dedicated exclusively to understanding and reliving the political, economic, military and cultural aspects of the War Between the States. Chattanooga, Tennessee was bombarded by Union artillery and then-occupied as part of the Chickamauga Campaign. From Savannah, Tennessee, trace the tragic story of the Battle of Shiloh, sometimes referred to as Bloody Shiloh. See how Decatur, Alabama was leveled so that bricks from the city s buildings could be used to build barracks for Union soldiers. Paducah, Kentucky was spared during the war thanks to its importance as a repair center for ironclad gunboats, and its strategic location was the key to controlling access to the Tennessee River, a major supply route. Historians often note that whoever controlled the Mississippi River, the war s most vital supply route, would win the Civil War, and the skirmishes, occupations and horrific battles that took place along its banks bear testimony to its strategic importance and the courage of the men who fought to control it and the nation s destiny. The river winds through the heart of a country torn asunder and we invite you to join us in understanding the conflict that reshaped a nation. (See itineraries on pages 23 and 34.) IN QUEEN 39

50 WELCOME TO THE COLUMBIA AND SNAKE RIVS FRONTIS, PIONES AND VINEYARDS Nowhere is the timelessness of rivers more apparent than here in the pristine Pacific Northwest where the Columbia and Snake Rivers wind through gentle hills, impressive mountains, vertical canyons and fertile fields. The land appears in 2014 just as it did to Lewis and Clark in 1805 majestic, unspoiled and unimaginably glorious. Sacajawea, Lewis and Clark s faithful Native American guide, knew how to read these lands and soon you will too thanks to the legacy of the expedition that opened the West to settlement. Pioneering reminders range from Fort Clatsop outside Astoria, Oregon where they survived the harsh winter, to the sister cities of Clarkston, Washington and Lewiston, Idaho 400 miles to the east. The explorers overcame the formidable Celilo Falls and currents near The Dalles, Oregon, a struggle brought to light at Rock Fort Campsite. The role of Sacajawea in the expedition s success is interpreted at the state park in Washington s Tri-Cities Region. As you relive the daring exploits of frontiersmen and adventurers, you are treated to the very same natural wonders. Columbia Gorge cuts through the Cascade Mountains thanks to the Missoula Floods of the last Ice Age. At Multnomah Falls, snowmelt streams plunge over 600 feet in two tiered cascades down a sheer cliff face. Deeper than the Grand Canyon, Idaho s Hell s Canyon is a dramatic crack in the earth with raging waters best explored on an exciting jet boat ride. Near Portland, understand the raw power of nature in the collapsed volcanic crater of Mount St. Helens. Along the Columbia River, fish ladders help salmon swim upstream and bison, deer er and elk graze freely. With the American Empress serving as a floating boutique hotel for your journey, travel into the heart of Washington s wine country. The acclaimed Maryhill Winery overlooking the Columbia River has made its mark among wine connoisseurs while the celebrated Walla Walla Wine Trail in the Napa of the North offers the tastes of Canoe Ridge, Cayuse, Leonetti and Five Star Cellars, among others. From Portland s lovely International Rose Test Garden to the hallowed artifacts on the Nez Perce Reservation, the region comes to life. Tour a millionaire s Victorian home in Astoria, Oregon and marvel at the engineering achievement of the Bonneville Dam. Whether you choose to take in the scenery from Mt. Hood s Timberline Lodge nestled among the pines or climb a lighthouse to view the expansive Pacific, a voyage on the Columbia and Snake Rivers will show you the world from a new perspective. 48 IN EMPRESS

52 PREMIUM TOUR OPTIONS Included tours are a great way to get acquainted with the historically rich ports along your American Empress voyage. You might want to delve deeper into your particular interests. Our Premium Experience Excursions serve that purpose. Follow more closely the Lewis & Clark Expedition or circuit the wineries of Walla Walla, known as the Napa of the North. Call for pricing and availability on your voyage. Mount St. Helens Volcano Tour (Portland, Oregon Pre- or Post-Voyage) Portland may be the largest city in Oregon, but it is often praised for its small-town feel. A guided tour of the city aboard our industry-leading motorcoaches will bring you to your Mount St. Helens Volcano Tour. In 1980, Mount St. Helens erupted, changing the face of the mountain itself and causing over one billion dollars in damage. Today, the scene is much more tranquil. Though still an active stratovolcano, the area is again safe for recreation, allowing you an extensive, up-close guided tour of this natural wonder. The Lewis & Clark Experience (Astoria, Oregon) Retrace the steps of America s most famous frontiersmen on a special Lewis & Clark Experience. Your adventure begins at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center on the cliffs of Cape Disappointment overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Experience the beauty and power through the eyes of those early explorers. Proceeding to Fort Clatsop you will learn of the challenges Lewis and Clark s party, Corps of Discovery, faced at their winter encampment before returning east in the spring of This tour provides a greater appreciation for the challenges the weary Corps of Discovery overcame in pursuit of the Pacific Ocean. The Beauty & Bounty of the Pacific Northwest (Stevenson, Washington) The scenery of the untamed Pacific Northwest is simply stunning, from the ethereal peak of Mount Hood to Oregon s tallest waterfall, Multnomah Falls. Nature s Beauty and Bounty is the theme of this Premium Experience Excursion. At Multnomah Falls, you will witness one of the tallest falls in North America at 620 feet. Viewing the falls and the surrounding Columbia River Gorge from the 105-foot high Benson Footbridge is a testament to the awesome power of nature. Next, you will travel along the 35- mile scenic roadway known as the Fruit Loop for the prevalence of orchards and vineyards in the area. You will enjoy some of the best fruit, wine and historic landmarks the Fruit Loop has to offer. High Octane Antiques (The Dalles, Oregon) Relive the wonder and excitement of the advent of automobiles and airplanes at the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum. What makes this museum so special is not just the extensive collection of over 130 antique cars and hangars full of vintage planes, it is that these pieces are fully restored and in working order. Imagine seeing a 100-year-old aircraft take to the skies! 50 IN EMPRESS

53 PREMIUM TOUR OPTIONS Walla Walla Wine Trail Tour (Sacajawea State Park, Washington) Explore the Walla Walla Wine Trail and experience some of the best wines of the Pacific Northwest. Manhattan Project: The Hanford Site (Sacajawea State Park, Washington) The history of the top secret Manhattan Project that led to the development of nuclear energy and its uses is fascinating. Hanford Research Facility played an integral role in the Manhattan Project. Its B-Reactor was the first large-scale plutonium production reactor in the world. Exploring the abandoned facilities, you can picture the men and women who walked the halls unquestioningly doing their duties, knowing little about the true purpose of their work and its shocking power. Hells Canyon Jet Boat Experience (Clarkston, Washington) Board a comfortable and nimble jet boat to enjoy the scenery and wildlife out of reach to a larger vessel. Your four-hour guided tour of Snake River includes safely navigating class three rapids, scenic views and likely wildlife sightings along the way. Just sit back and enjoy the ride! Today, it has grown into a beautiful city with the perfect combination of history, modern influences and natural beauty. Enjoy a guided tour of the city en route to Riverfront Park, the site of Expo 74, a World s Fair event. The 145- foot spire and webbed frame of the World s Fair US Pavilion tent remains the defining feature of the park. The Clocktower on Havermale Island is a reminder of the Great Northern Railroad Depot and the golden age of trains. All of the history and beauty of this urban park will be revealed on a guided walking tour. HEALTH & DISABILITY REQUIREMENTS Guests must notify us in writing at the time of booking of any physical or mental illness, disability or other conditions for which special accommodations or the use of a wheelchair is necessary or contemplated. Also we must be notified of any medical treatment that may render the guest unfit for travel or constitute a risk or danger to the guest or anyone else on board. The vessels do not carry a medical doctor aboard. Acute medical conditions will require you to disembark to be attended to by shoreside emergency and/or medical response. Guests needing any form of assistance and those who are physically disabled must be accompanied by someone who will take full responsibility for any needed assistance during the cruise and in the event of an emergency. We reserve the right to refuse passage to anyone who, in our sole opinion, may affect the health, safety or enjoyment of other guests. Guests requiring a wheelchair must provide their own collapsible wheelchair. Please be aware that some ports of call, shore excursions, docks, gangways and other requirements may preclude a wheelchair guest from leaving the vessel; this decision will be made by the ship s captain and is binding. Also, there may be certain physical conditions, including raised doorway thresholds from 2 to 16 inches, stairways and narrow passageways within the vessel that may limit or preclude the accessibility of wheelchair guests to some areas. We strongly recommend you purchase travel protection. With travel insurance you can plan and enjoy your trip with complete peace of mind. Federal Maritime Commission Protection Under Public Law , the FMC requires vessels having berth or stateroom accommodations for 50 or more passengers and which embark passengers from 64

67 U.S. ports to maintain acceptable evidence of financial responsibility to indemnify passengers for nonperformance of transportation. American Queen Steamboat Company maintains an escrow agreement to protect passenger payments for water transportation. This escrow agreement has been reviewed and approved by the Federal Maritime Commission. United States Flagged Vessels The American Queen and the American Empress have been designed and built in the United States. As U.S. Flagged Vessels, this status means that we also protect you with the highest standards for safety and health, including regular inspections and certifications by the United States Coast Guard, The United States Public Health Service, and the Federal Communications Commission. The vessels are American owned and operated. As U.S. Flagged Vessels, the American Queen and the American Empress are capable of operating unique itineraries not possible on foreign-owned or foreign-built vessels. Smoking Smoking is permitted only in designated outside areas aboard the American Queen and American Empress. All interiors of the vessels including all cabins, staterooms, dining rooms and lounges are strictly non-smoking. Dining Arrangements Breakfast and lunch are open seating on both vessels. On the American Empress dinner is open seating. On the American Queen there are two seating times for dinner. To make a seating request, please call your Travel Agent, group leader, or our Reservations Department at your earliest convenience after making a reservation. We will make every effort to honor your request; however, actual seating assignments are not guaranteed and can only be confirmed at time of departure. Gambling Gambling is not available or permitted on the American Queen or the American Empress. Animals Only designated service animals are permitted onboard. Please notify American Queen Steamboat Company in advance of departure if you require a service animal. Gratuities Gratuities of US$16.50 per guest per day will be automatically charged to your onboard account. 65
