Simply follow the signs in your terminal to Taxi and Ground Transportation. If you are heading directly to Juilliard, tell the driver that your destination is in Manhattan at 65th and Broadway. The driver should drop you off in front of Alice Tully Hall, which is in the same building as Juilliard. You will need to walk west on West 65th St to get to the main entrance of the School. Safety Tip: Disregard offers of transportation from solicitors in the terminal. Be sure your transportation is safe and legitimate at ground transportation information counters, bus stops and taxi dispatchers. Also, please ignore non-uniformed persons offering to assist with baggage and seek out uniformed porters or airline employees for baggage assistance. Other Tips Tipping is customary for good service. There is a $1.00 peak-time surcharge for trips from 4 PM to 8PM on weekdays. There is a $.50 surcharge for trips from 8PM to 6AM daily and also a NY State tax of $.50 is added to trips within New York. One fare pays for all passengers to one destination. Four passengers (five in minivans) is the limit for New York City cabs. Meter must read $3.00 at the start of the trip. Remember to take your receipt. Buses are only $16 one-way or $28 round-trip and arrive at each stop every 15 minutes during the day (departures every 30 minutes before 6:45 AM and after 11:15 PM). New York Stops Grand Central Station (41st St between Park Ave and Lexington Ave) Bryant Park (42nd St and 5th Avenue) Port Authority Bus Terminal (41st St between 8th Ave and 9th Ave) If you choose to take a bus and are going directly to Juilliard, get off at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. From there walk to the 42nd St s Square Station and Take the Uptown Train to 66th St - Lincoln Center. Once at the Lincoln Center Station you will be outside of the Juilliard School building. Walk down West 65th St to the main entrance. 3 The Juilliard School is located off the 66th St - Lincoln Center subway stop on 65 th St. It is also possible to walk from 59th St - Columbus Circle, if you are arriving from the,,, or trains. The train fare is $2.75 one way. Subway (from JFK only) The only airport directly accessible by the MTA subway system is JFK International Airport. The subway system and Long Island Railroad can be accessed via the JFK AirTrain to Jamaica Station or Howard Beach Station. Option 1: AirTrain à Jamaica Station à Subway $7.75 ~50 Minutes 1. After taking the AirTrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station, take the World Trade Center bound Train from to 42nd St - s Square. 2. Transfer to the Uptown Train at 42nd St. 3. Exit at 66th St - Lincoln Center. Option 2: AirTrain à Howard Beach Station à Subway $7.75 ~60 Minutes 1. After taking the AirTrain from your terminal to Howard Beach - JFK, take the 207th St - Inwood Bound Train from Howard Beach - JFK to 59th St - Columbus Circle. 2. At the 59th St - Columbus Circle station transfer to the Uptown Train. 3. Exit at 66th St - Lincoln Center. Option 3: AirTrain à Jamaica Station à LIRR à Subway $15.75 ~30 Minutes 1. After taking the AirTrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station, take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) to 34th St - Penn Station. 2. Transfer to the Uptown Train. 3. Exit at the 66th St - Lincoln Center. M60 Bus (from LaGuardia only)

4 The M60 bus goes to 125th St and Broadway via 125th St in Manhattan and Astoria Blvd. The bus fare is $2.75 (MetroCard or exact change required), or $3.00 to purchase with exact change on the bus. MetroCard vending machines are available at most terminals within the airport. The M60 bus will take you to Manhattan at Broadway and 125th St before turning to take you in the direction of 116th St. Once you ve arrived at Broadway, you can transfer (for free with a single ride MetroCard) to the Downtown Train. Take the South Ferry bound Train Downtown and exit at the 66th St - Lincoln Center stop (approximately a 15-minute ride). Juilliard s main entrance is on West 65th St between Broadway and Amsterdam Ave. TRANSPORTATION BY REGIONAL/METRO-AREA TRAIN Amtrak Take an Amtrak Train to Penn Station. Once there, transfer to the Uptown Train and exit at 66th St - Lincoln Center. Long Island Railroad (LIRR) Take the LIRR to 34th St - Penn Station. Once there, transfer to the Uptown Train and exit at 66th St - Lincoln Center. Metro-North Take a Metro-North train to Grand Central Station. From Grand Central, take the 42nd St - s Square bound Train to 42nd St - s Square. Then transfer to the Uptown Train and exit at 66th St - Lincoln Center. NJ Transit Take the NJ Transit to 34th St - Penn Station and transfer to an Uptown Train and exit at 66th St - Lincoln Center. NJ Transit via AirTrain Newark (from Newark Liberty International Airport) - TRANSPORTATION BY CAR From Long Island Take Long Island Expressway to Midtown Tunnel. Follow signs to Uptown/West Side and go cross-town at 34th Street to 8th Avenue. Turn right onto 8th Avenue and proceed to 59th Street. Turn right onto Columbus Circle, making another right onto Broadway. Take Broadway to West 62nd Street and turn left. Cross Columbus Avenue. The Lincoln Center parking garage entrance is on the northern side of the street (right side).

5 From Southern New Jersey Take the Lincoln or Holland Tunnels. From Lincoln Tunnel take the exit on the left towards 40th Street and North. Turn left onto West 42nd Street. Turn right onto 10th Avenue, continuing all the way to 65th Street. Turn right onto West 65th Street. The Lincoln Center parking garage entrance is on the southern side of the street (right side). From Holland Tunnel Follow signs to Exit 1 (Uptown and Canal Street) into Laight Street. Follow Laight Street to West Side Highway (Joe DiMaggio Highway). Follow to 56th Street, staying to the right after 42nd Street. Turn right onto West 56th Street. Turn left onto 10th Avenue. Turn right on West 62nd Street. Lincoln Center parking garage entrance is on the northern side of the street (left side). From Northern New Jersey Take I-95 North/US-9 North/US 1 North. This becomes I-95 North/Upper Level George Washington Bridge/US-9. Take the Henry Hudson Parkway/178th Street exit. Follow signs to Henry Hudson Parkway South/West Side Highway (Joe DiMaggio Highway). Merge onto Henry Hudson Parkway South. Take the West 79th Street (Boat Basin) exit. Follow the circle and exit onto 79th street. Turn right onto West End Avenue, heading south. Turn left onto 65th Street. Cross over Amsterdam Avenue, continuing on 65th Street. Turn right onto Columbus Avenue. Turn right onto 62nd Street. Lincoln Center parking garage entrance is on the northern side of the street (right side). From Southern Connecticut Take I-95 South to Cross Bronx Expressway, taking the last Manhattan exit (leading towards George Washington Bridge). Follow the Henry Hudson Parkway South. Take the West 79th Street (Boat Basin) exit. Follow the circle and exit onto 79th street. Turn right onto West End Avenue, heading south. Turn left onto 65th Street. Cross over Amsterdam Avenue, continuing on 65th Street. Turn right onto Columbus Avenue. Turn right onto 62nd Street. Lincoln Center parking garage entrance is on the northern side of the street (right side). From Westchester County Travel south to get onto Route 9 South (from Saw Mill Parkway). Route 9 becomes Henry Hudson Parkway South/West Side Highway (Joe DiMaggio Highway). Take Henry Hudson Parkway South to the West 79th Street (Boat Basin) exit. Follow the circle and exit onto 79th street. Turn right onto West End Avenue, heading south. Turn left onto 65th Street. Cross over Amsterdam Avenue, continuing on 65th Street. Turn right onto Columbus Avenue. Turn right onto 62nd Street.
