Both are highly visible and accessible to Interstate 65 and surrounding communities, see the plan p THE TOWN CENTER: The Town Center project combines a variety of large and small scale retailers with a state of the art movie theater, a department store, an array of restaurants and cafes, a hotel, and offices. 9 P E D E S T R I A N V E R N A C U L A R T he focus of Jeffersonville Town Center is on creating a pedestrian friendly, visually attractive environment. The traditional main street design is reinforced through the two story facades, ground floor storefront widows, use of traditional building materials like brick and stone, pedestian lighting and other ammenities, and overall attention to detail. The goal is build a town center that holds timeless qualities that will remain as a focal point for the local community for years to come. 8
