1 18TH ANNUAL TOURNAMENT INFORMATION PARTICIPANTS: COST: WHERE: 12 Team (see bracket/schedule for the field). $ per team (please pay in advance) Clackamas High School WHEN: Thursday, July 6 Sunday, July 9, 2017 FORMAT: AWARDS: NEEDED IN ADVANCE: All Wood Bat (bats are not provided) Pool Play Thursday, July 6 & Friday, July 7 (morning only) Bracket Play begins Friday, July 7 (afternoon) thru Sunday, July 9 Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and consolation. T-Shirts for the championship team Tournament fee of $ due June 1st. (Checks payable to Clackamas Baseball ). 2 18TH ANNUAL TOURNAMENT RULES Pool Play will be used to determine seeding and placement in bracket play. 1) In pool play, home team will be listed first; in bracket play, home team will be determined by higher seed (same seed will coin flip). 2) No inning will start after 2:15 time limit. (In the interest of keeping on schedule). There is a 10 run rule after 5 innings. Tiebreakers for games will be determined by reverting back to the last completed inning when a team had the lead. In the event of a tie, we will determine winner by coin flip. Trophy games will be played to their conclusion (darkness permitting). 3) In the event of ties after pool play, seeding will be determined by the following: 1) Head to head competition 2) Runs given up by each of the teams that are tied 3) Coin Flip 4) No pregame infield. Batting cages and softball fields will be available for pre game batting practice and warm-up. Starting pitchers can warm up in bullpens. 5) Fields will be maintained by hosts. We only ask that teams clean gear out right after the conclusion of each game and meet in an area outside of the field to keep on schedule.
