Go 1 mile to intersection. Turn left on to Route 2/Main Street. Municipal building is next to the Public Safety Building and is 1.2 miles on your left. Parking in rear of building. From the north: I-95 South to Exit 193 Stillwater Ave, turn left. Turn right on Bennoch Rd (Route 16), Turn right on Main St. (Route 2). Municipal Building is on your right. Parking is in the rear of the building. From south on I-95 take Exit 112A. You can see the civic center from the exit. Take right into parking lot. Look for directions to meeting room on inside sign.

3 February 28, 2018 WATER & WASTEWATER MICROBIOLOGY AND BACTERIA TESTS HUSSON UNIVERSITY 340 County Road Westbrook, Maine (207) Travel on the Maine Turnpike (I-95) to Exit 46 Jetport Exit. When you come off ramp, turn left onto Skyway Drive. At the light, turn left onto Congress Street (Route 22). Congress Street turns into County Road. At the next light, turn left onto Spring Street. Husson University will be on your right on the corner of County Road and Spring Street. Wednesday, March 7, 2018 CHEMICAL FEED PUMPS AND MONITORING CONTROLS WELLS RESERVE AT LAUDHOLM 342 Laudholm Farm Road Wells, ME (207) Northbound on I-95: Take Exit 19 (Wells) and follow signs to Route 1 in Wells. Follow Route 1 North 1.5 miles to Laudholm Farms Road (just north of the Lighthouse Depot and south of the Maine Diner, at the second flashing traffic signal). Turn right and follow signs to the Reserve. Southbound on I-95: Take Exit 25 (Kennebunk) and follow signs to Kennebunk. Turn right onto Route 1 and travel 3.3 miles to Laudholm Farm Road (just south of the Maine Diner and just north of the Lighthouse Depot at the flashing traffic signal). Turn left and follow signs to the Reserve.

4 Thursday, March 8, 2018 LAB OVERVIEW FOR OCCASIONAL PERSONNEL PARIS FIRE DEPARTMENT 137 Western Ave. Paris, ME (207) I-95 Northbound: Take I-95 to Exit 63 Gray. At the exit take a left then turn right onto Route 26A. Route 26A will turn into Route 26. Take Route 26 north into the Paris area, take a right at the 1st light by the high school. Take the 1st left at the 2nd light onto Western Ave. The fire station is approximately 500 yards on the right. Coming from the Winthrop/Augusta area take Route 202 into Lewiston / Auburn, take Route121 out of Auburn into Oxford. Take a right onto Route 26 north and follow above directions. Tuesday, March 20, 2018 LUBRICATION OPTIONS AND METHODS ELLSWORTH CITY HALL One City Hall Plaza Ellsworth, Maine (207) From North or South: Take I-95 to Ellsworth (Exit 182A) to I-395. Merge into Route 1A in a southeast direction for 24 miles. Cross the Union River just before Ellsworth Falls. At second light by the YMCA stay right at the fork. Turn left across from courthouse and you will be in parking lot in front of the City Hall. From Augusta using Route 3: (85 miles to Ellsworth) Follow Rt.3 east to Belfast and merge with Route. 1 in Belfast. Follow directions below: From Belfast: Go northeast on Route 1(Route 3) across the Penobscot Narrows Bridge, through Bucksport, then Orland, down Bridge Hill, to the yield sign at the intersection. Ellsworth is 19 miles from Bucksport. At light at intersection of Water Street and Maine Street you may turn left and look for parking lot on right across from courthouse. From Downeast Coastal Towns: Follow Route 1 which will merge on to High St./ Bar Harbor Road/Route 3. Follow Route 1(Route 3), moving into the left lane, to the traffic signal. Turn left onto Main Street, then drive down Main Street halfway down the hill and turn right on Franklin Street. From whatever route, City Hall is in the square bounded by Main, State, Church, and School Streets. There is free parking in that square, off School St. to the northwest and Franklin St. to the southeast.

Keep left at the fork toward Alfred Plourde Pkwy. Travel about ½ miles, then turn left onto Pleasant Street. At the East Avenue intersection, stay straight onto Bartlett Street. Turn left onto Adams Avenue. Public Works will be on the left. Via I-95 Southbound: Take Lewiston Exit 80. Keep right onto Alfred Plourde Pkwy. Travel about ½ miles, then turn left onto Pleasant Street. At the East Avenue intersection, stay straight onto Bartlett Street. Turn left onto Adams Avenue. Public Works will be on the left. Thursday, March 22, 2018 LUBRICATION OPTIONS AND METHODS YORK SEWER DISTRICT Maintenance Building 21 Bay Haven Road York, ME (207) From I-95 Maine Turnpike: Take Exit 7 toward York/The Berwicks and turn left at the fork and follow signs to York/South Berwick. Turn left towards Route One, then turn left onto U.S. Route One North. Drive approximately 3 miles, then turn right onto Cape Neddick Road. Turn right onto Shore Road then turn left on Bay Haven Road. Entrance to the York Sewer District will be on the right.

Turn RIGHT at light at end of exit ramp onto Kennedy Memorial Drive (KMD) going towards Waterville. Proceed east on KMD for ~ 1.5 miles (6 traffic lights). Move to right hand lane at 6 th light (West River Rd.) and take the ramp for the Carter Memorial Bridge. Move to left lane immediately after ramp and take the first left (Grove St.). Drive to the end of Grove St. ~ ½ mile to Water St. Turn right onto Water St. and drive 1 mile, the main building is directly ahead, the KSTD main entrance is the driveway bearing to the right. FROM NORTH: Travel I-95 and take Exit 127 (Oakland Kennedy Memorial Drive). Turn LEFT at light at end of exit ramp onto Kennedy Memorial Drive (KMD) going towards Waterville. Proceed east on KMD for ~ 1.6 miles (7 traffic lights). Move to right hand lane at 7 th light (West River Rd.) and take the ramp for the Carter Memorial Bridge. Route 1 will become Main Street. The Theater Building is located on the corner of Main Street and Bridge Street. Parking is available behind the theater. Wednesday, April 4, 2018 PUMP STATION OPERATION AND INSPECTION Jeff Nixon Development Center PORTLAND WATER DISTRICT OFFICES 225 Douglass Street Portland, Maine (207) Southbound from I-295: Take the Congress St. Exit 5B. Turn right onto Congress Street then immediately take first right onto Douglass St. (Johnson s Sporting Goods on corner of Congress and Douglass Streets). Go to the end. Northbound from I-295: Take Congress St. Exit. After exit, move immediately into right lane and stay right around the clover leaf towards Transportation Center. At end of ramp, stay right onto Fore River Parkway. Go straight through one set of lights and continue on Fore River Parkway to end. (Hint: Stay in the middle lane because just ahead the two left lanes will have left arrows onto Congress Street, you will want to be in the outside left turning lane). Turn left on Congress Street then immediately take first right onto Douglass St. (Johnson s Sporting Goods on corner of Congress and Douglass Streets). Go to the end. Parking lot is across the street from the training center.

After the toll booth, turn left and then take your first right onto Route 26A. Stay left at the fork and continue on Route 26 for about 20 miles. The Oxford Public Safety Building will be on your right. From Public Safety Building to the Oxford Wastewater Treatment Facility: OXFORD WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY 35 Mechanic Falls Road Oxford, ME From the parking lot, turn left onto Route 26 and travel for about 1 mile, then turn left on Mechanic Falls Road (Route 121). The treatment plant will be on the right. Tuesday Thursday, May 1 thru 3, 2018 O&M OF WASTEWATER COLLECTION SYSTEMS BANGOR WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITY 760 Main Street Bangor, ME (207) From I-95: Get off Bangor/Brewer Exit onto Route 395. Get off at the Farm Road Exit 3A. Take left at stop sign onto Farm Rd. Go approximately 100 yards. Take a right at the stop sign (by the Armory) onto Main St. Go underneath railroad overpass - WWTP on the left. Go to the Administration Building.

Dority Safety & Performance Training Center 10 Mountain Ave Fairfield, Maine (207) Traveling either North or Southbound - Take I-95 to exit 133 When you come off ramp, head North with the sign saying Jackman/Skowhegan. You will be on Route 201 and as you head north, Dragon Products will be on your right and the first left on Route 201 will be Mountain Ave. Take the first entrance into the parking lot and drive past the main building. Turn left onto Mountain Ave. DOT is the brick building on the corner of Route 201 & Mountain Ave. There will be a blue & white sign on the lawn that says John E. Dority, Safety and Performance Training Center. Take the first entrance into the parking lot and drive past the main building. The class will be held in the Lance Gurney building: Look for the sign that says Green Building with a direction arrow to the left. Look for a large green building on the left as you enter a large open parking lot at the top of the hill. Enter through the last door on the right.
