We did have 3 bikes in the parking lot, as we were to have the Blessing of the Bikes, but it rained again!

We thank all the CMA members who have come to our breakfasts to perform the Blessings. So I guess you figured there was no ride that day.

It is a scenic ride through Frederick County and Carroll County, ending up at Hoffman s Ice Cream, its about a 2 hour ride, including a restroom stop.

Dinner Out Our Dinner Out for June was held at Annie s Paramount Steak & Seafood on Kent Island.

The Bay Bridge was flowing nicely and the scenery was beautiful, (that s what they told me because my eyes were shut!

Thanks to all who went, hope everyone enjoyed themselves. And thanks to Donna for the pictures of the bridge and motorcycles, great job.

Ice Cream Social I would like to apologize for not putting the pictures in for last month s Ice Cream Social at the Little Red Barn, I forgot to put them in.

We did have 3 bikes in the parking lot, as we were to have the Blessing of the Bikes, but it rained again! Pastor Nick did a prayer for all of us inside and at July s breakfast, he and some others will be down to give blessings over the bikes. We thank all the CMA members who have come to our breakfasts to perform the Blessings. So I guess you figured there was no ride that day. We are asking for lots of sunshine for July s breakfast, after breakfast Augie and Lynn will be leading their ride. It was a beautiful day, blue skies, lots of sunshine, so 12 Retreads started out on our journey to Annie s for a late lunch. It was a really nice ride, not a lot of traffic to contend with. The Bay Bridge was flowing nicely and the scenery was beautiful, (that s what they told me because my eyes were shut!!!) We all enjoyed lunch at Annie s and we headed home, after crossing the bridge some went their separate ways. It was a really great day for a ride. The next luncheon out will be June 30th 1pm at Trickling Springs, in Chambersburg, PA. Weekday Ride On Monday July 16 th, Allen will be coordinating a day ride to Ocean City, Md. Anyone interested is asked to meet at Sheetz-Rt. 85 at Rt. 70 between The ride will start at The plan is to get a late breakfast or lunch in Ocean City, ride around the area and head up the coast, and return on Rt. 404 in Delaware back to Rt. 50. Other variations to this ride are welcomed. Maryland Retread Overnight Ride Leave Sept. 29th, return Sept. 30th. Visiting Johnstown National Flood Site and Incline in Johnstown on Sat. Sept. 29th. Lodging at Super 8 Motel in Somerset, PA on Saturday night Sept. 29. Visiting Flight 93 Memorial on Sunday, Sept. 30 on our way home. The last phase of the memorial (The Bell Tower) is to be completed by this September. We have blocked 10 rooms at the Motel under Harold Routzahn. (2 queen beds per room) NON-SMOKING facility. Laughter is the Best Medicine Philadelphia Parking A businessman walked into a Philadelphia bank and asked for the loan officer. He said he was going to Europe on business for three weeks and needed to borrow $5, The loan officer said the bank would need some security for such a loan. The business man then handed over the keys to a Vintage Rolls Royce that was parked on the street in front of the bank. Everything checked out and the loan officer accepted the car as collateral for the loan. An employee then drove the Rolls into the bank's underground garage and parked it there. Two weeks later the businessman returned, repaid the $5, and the interest which came to $ The loan officer said, We do appreciate your business and this transaction has worked out very nicely, but we are a bit puzzled. While you were away we checked and found that you are a multimillionaire. What puzzles us is why you would bother to borrow $5,000? The business man replied: Where else in the city of Philadelphia can I park my car for 3 weeks for under 100 bucks?
