8 ALABASTER CAVERNS STATE PARK 30 mi Northeast of Woodward off ate Hwy The site of the largest developed gypsum cave in the world open to the public & offering tours, this area was created by nature 200 million years ago. Visitors can see tremendous boulders of alabaster in many colors, including pink, white & black. ALVA COMMUNITY THEATER 424 Flynn, Alva The Alva Community Theater plays host to plays & musicals which are presented year-round by Alva schools and the college. ALVA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT MUSEUM South of City on Hwy 281, Alva This museum provides guests with an interesting look into the past with a section on the World War II prisoner of war camp (formerly located in Alva) Along With Other Historical Aspects Of The Town. AUTRY TECHNOLOGY CENTER 1201 West Willow, Enid This Center serves more than 700 full-time students & approximately 10,000 part-time students through a wide range of full-time & short-term courses & specialized training. BOILING SPRINGS STATE PARK 5 mi NE of Woodward off ate Hwy 34C Offering some of the most beautiful shoreline in the state, these cool springs boil at some 200 gallons per minute onto the white sands of the North Canadian River. The park is known to have the last stand of big timber in Western Oklahoma. Also located at the park are hiking trails, cabins, a swimming pool & an adjacent 18-hole golf course. BUFFALO MUSEUM 108 South Hoy, Buffalo This museum houses local artifacts & photographs, featuring a history of the Ft. Dodge Trail Crossing & a furnished sod house.
