9 FAQs First time here? Where do I begin? If you have never skied Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, we highly recommend you take a complimentary tour. It is a perfect way to get acquainted with the mountain and become familiar with conditions. Host tours meet daily at 9:30 am in front of Walk Festival Hall. Ambassador tours meet weekdays at 1:15 pm at the private lesson meeting area. For more information, visit the Guest Service Center 12. Do you need a special ticket to go out-of-bounds? No. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort neither encourages nor discourages guests from enjoying terrain in the backcountry. Make sure you know backcountry safety before you go and have the necessary equipment with you such as an avalanche beacon, probe and shovel. Review and understand the daily backcountry report provided by Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center and posted at all backcountry gates. Or, hire a guide for the day and receive firsthand knowledge. Guide Service FAQS Can I get to the town of Jackson if I don't have a car? Yes! START Bus runs continual service from Teton Village to Jackson daily. For a schedule call , visit or pick up a bus schedule at the bus stop or at your hotel front desk. Where can I buy a lift ticket? Ticket windows are located on the south side of the Bridger Center 20 and on the east side of the tram building 12. Additionally, tickets are sold at JH Sports, the Cody House and Teton Village Sports. Where should I take the kids for mountain sports school and day care? To the Cody House which is located just above the Bridger Gondola. When entering the Village area, turn left and follow the signs to the Kids Ranch, Here, you can also find a list of baby sitters. Where do I find information on conditions and events? What is an inversion? An inversion occurs when the temperatures in the valley are much colder than the temperatures on the mountain. Inversion days will often result in warmer temperatures on the mountain. If you hear the word inversion there is only one place to be and that is up on the mountain.

Teton Village transforms into a beautiful summer destination offering a wide variety of lodging, dining and shopping options. The Village Commons, with its natural amphitheater provides an excellent setting for music performances and family programming. Teton Village Association kicks off the summer with free concerts and fireworks on July 3 & 4; concerts run every Sunday thereafter in July and August. In addition, TVA hosts an Alive@Five program Tuesday-Friday evenings which offer free, family-friendly and engaging presentations. The Commons also boasts a pop jet fountain and playground to entertain the kids. The Aerial Tram, Bridger Gondola and Teewinot Chairlift run through the summer months and provide access to great hiking, mountain biking, wildlife viewing and amazing views of the valley. The Grand Adventure Park, consisting of an aerial ropes course, drop tower, bungee trampoline, rock climbing wall and more are not to be missed. SUMMER SEASON

11 fresh tracks What's New In Teton Village Village Ice Rink on the Commons The winter wonderland in the Teton Village Commons will be enhanced this year with the addition of an ice skating rink. The ice rink is open to the public daily 3-9 pm and skate rentals are available in the warming hut next to the rink. Skating is free to those who bring their own skates. Join us this winter in the Village Commons to ice skate, play in the snow castles, and cozy up by the fire pit. Looking Ahead to Winter 2018/19: Solitude Station In the continuing effort to enhance the beginner skier and family experience at JHMR, Solitude Station, located at the Sweetwater Gondola mid-station, will be 12,000 square feet of ski school, rental and dining facilities. This full service facility will bring to life a new center of learning and fun in Jackson Hole. With a covered surface carpet lift, top notch ski instructors and state of the art facility all accessed from a two minute gondola ride the from the base. Solitude Station will be the new hub of learning and growing the sport of skiing and riding. The building will be activated for a family après experience and private events both summer and winter. Teton Village Association Reduces Traffic Teton Village Association works to reduce traffic to and from Teton Village in the winter because less cars mean fewer wildlife-vehicle collisions, lower carbon emissions, and less vehicle congestion. PARKING IN TETON VILLAGE When arriving in Teton Village you will notice that there are four parking lots. The Ranch Lot, the Village Lot, the Crystal Springs Lot and the Cody Lot.

12 PARKING IN TETON VILLAGE When arriving in Teton Village you will notice that there are four parking lots. The Ranch Lot, the Village Lot, the Crystal Springs Lot and the Cody Lot. Signage will direct you to the designated parking lots within Teton Village. See map under Getting Around. Teton Village is working with Teton County, Wyoming, in an effort to reduce traffic on Wyoming Highway 390 and has agreed to charge for parking during the winter season to encourage alternative means of transportation and carpooling. Ranch Parking Lot $10 6:30am - 1pm $15 Dec 20, 2017-Jan 5, 2018 & Feb 16-25, 2018 Free for carpools of 3 or more people In addition to a walkway, a free shuttle is available to bring visitors from the Ranch Lot to the Base Village. Village Parking Lot (Base Village) Crystal Springs Lot (Mid Village) Cody Parking Lot (Upper Village) $20 from 6:30am -1pm $30 Dec 20, 2017-Jan 5, 2018 & Feb 16-25, 2018 $10 from 1-3pm all season PARKING Guests staying overnight in Teton Village hotels will need a parking pass from your hotel for entrance to paid lots. Short-term (1 hour) and handicapped parking spaces are available throughout Teton Village. Alternatively, START Bus runs scheduled bus service between the Town of Jackson and Teton Village with drop off in front of the tram building. Free Parking Free parking is provided at the southern end of Hwy 390 at the intersection of Hwy 22. Park at the Transit Center (Stilson Lot) and take the free START Bus to Teton Village. Promoting START Bus, carpooling and paid parking is all part of Teton Village's commitment to environmental sustainability by reducing traffic, fuel consumption and emissions.
