2 2 Deputy Chairman/ Deputy Group Managing Chairman/Group Director's Managing messagedirector's message Perutusan Timbalan Pengerusi/ Pengarah Urusan Kumpulan Staf Boustead yang dihargai, Tahun lalu ternyata bukanlah mudah. Mengimbas kembali tahun 2018, ianya dipenuhi dengan pelbagai cabaran dan rintangan luaran. Namun, Kumpulan berjaya mengatasi persekitaran yang sukar ini di tengah-tengah persaingan yang sengit dan keadaan pasaran yang mencabar. Dear fellow Bousteadians, This past year has definitely not been easy. Looking back, 2018 presented its fair share of challenges and external headwinds. Amidst heightened competition and challenging market conditions, the Group rose above, to weather the tough environment. The Group recorded a profit after tax of RM77 million, with revenue coming in at RM7.2 billion for the nine-month period ended 30 September This figure was driven by several of our core businesses which delivered improved results. Stockholding gains as well as better operating margins and sales volumes by Boustead Petroleum Marketing Sdn. Bhd. allowed the Trading & Industrial Division to record better profits. Furthermore, the Finance & Investment Division and Pharmaceutical Division turned in better performances as well for the nine months under review. On a personal note, as you are aware, I have stepped down from my position as your Group Managing Director. The past 27 years at the helm of this prestigious Group have been fulfilling for me particularly because I have been part of so many momentous milestones. Our Group today owns and operates Malaysia s only other homegrown retail petroleum network, BHPetrol. In addition, we were behind the remarkable turnaround of PSC Industries Berhad, a PN17 entity into a profitable company now known as Boustead Heavy Industries Corporation Berhad. For Boustead Plantations, we successfully restructured our plantation assets to unlock their value and listed this company on Bursa Malaysia. Affin was a financial group that went through a challenging period in the 1980s and 1990s and we played a part in restructuring the capital and management of Affin Financial Group which was subsequently listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. Regardless of the circumstances we have faced, what has remained is your Group s resilience. Moving into 2019, I am sure the Group will be faced with a new set of challenges. I encourage all to work hand in glove with the new management team, in order to drive the Group s performance and deliver results, as we have done these past many years. My fellow Bousteadians, I wish you all a bright year ahead. May you continue to prosper individually and collectively as a Group in 2019 to overcome obstacles and achieve sustainable results. Kumpulan mencatatkan keuntungan selepas cukai sebanyak RM77 juta, dengan perolehan sebanyak RM7.2 bilion bagi tempoh sembilan bulan yang berakhir pada 30 September Angka ini didorong oleh keputusan meningkat daripada beberapa perniagaan teras kita. Keuntungan pegangan saham serta margin operasi dan jumlah jualan yang lebih baik oleh Boustead Petroleum Marketing Sdn. Bhd. membolehkan Bahagian Perdagangan & Perindustrian mencatatkan keuntungan yang lebih baik. Di samping itu, Bahagian Kewangan & Pelaburan dan Bahagian Farmaseutikal juga menunjukkan prestasi yang lebih baik bagi tempoh sembilan bulan yang dikaji. Secara peribadi pula, seperti yang anda ketahui, saya telah melepaskan jawatan saya sebagai Pengarah Urusan Kumpulan ini. Selama 27 tahun menerajui Kumpulan berprestij ini, saya berasa amat berpuas hati kerana dapat memainkan peranan dalam banyak peristiwa bersejarah Kumpulan. Hari ini, Kumpulan kita memiliki dan mengendalikan rangkaian runcit petroleum tempatan di Malaysia iaitu BHPetrol. Selain itu, kita turut memainkan peranan dalam proses pemulihan luar biasa bagi PSC Industries Berhad, dari sebuah entiti PN17 kepada sebuah syarikat yang menguntungkan yang kini dikenali sebagai Boustead Heavy Industries Corporation Berhad. Bagi Boustead Plantations pula, kita berjaya menyusun semula aset perladangan kita untuk meningkatkan nilainya dan menyenaraikan syarikat ini di Bursa Malaysia. Affin pula adalah kumpulan kewangan yang telah melalui tempoh yang mencabar pada tahun 1980-an dan 1990-an dan kita telah memainkan peranan dalam menyusun semula modal dan pengurusan Kumpulan Kewangan Affin yang kemudiannya disenaraikan di Bursa Saham Kuala Lumpur. Tidak kiralah apa sahaja keadaan yang telah kita hadapi, apa yang penting adalah daya tahan Kumpulan anda. Ketika kita beralih ke tahun 2019, saya pasti Kumpulan akan berdepan dengan cabaran-cabaran baharu. Saya menggalakkan anda semua menjalinkan kerjasama erat dengan pasukan pengurusan baharu untuk memacu prestasi Kumpulan dan membuahkan hasil, seperti yang telah kita lakukan pada tahun-tahun lalu. Kepada semua staf Boustead, saya berharap agar tahun hadapan adalah cerah buat anda semua. (Mutiara Rini), the master developer for Mutiara Damansara, was awarded the Inclusive Development Award from Selangor Town and Country Planning Department in conjunction with World Town Planning Day - Selangor on 30 October The award was proudly received by En. Jazmi Kamarudin, Senior General Manager (Property), from the guest of honour, the Sultan of Selangor DYMM Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah. The recognition was bestowed during the Selangor: Towards Liveable Cities event at Setia City Convention Centre, Setia Alam. We are proud and honoured to receive this award as it highlights the company s contribution and engagement for development in Selangor. It encourages us to give continuous improvement for the need of mobility while maintaining the quality of life in Selangor. 3 Also present were Chief Minister of Selangor, YAB Tn. Amirudin Shari and Director of Selangor Town and Country Planning Department, Tn. Hj. Muhammad Ridzuan Arshad. Awards were also presented to various developers and local authorities in appreciation of their commitment and cooperation in developing the state as a thriving sustainable and prosperous city, in line with the aspirations of state development. What s more handsome than the award? These gentlemen of course! Mutiara Rini clinches two awards at idea2018 Mutiara Rini Sdn. Bhd. (Mutiara Rini) clinched the Development of the Year and Best Transit-Oriented Development (Future) awards for One Cochrane Residences at the distinguished iproperty Development Excellence Awards (idea2018). The glitzy gala dinner organised by iproperty Malaysia was held on 15 November 2018 at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The event was graced by Mr. David Mawer, iproperty.com.my and REA Group Asia General Manager. Recipients of the awards were determined by a distinguished panel of judges led by convener Ar. Sarly Adre Sarkum, Deputy President, Malaysia Institute of Architects and accredited by well-known audit and assurance service provider, PricewaterhouseCoopers. These are the first two awards received for our development - One Cochrane Residences. These awards signify our stronghold in the Malaysian property market. It also denotes another remarkable milestone in Mutiara Rini s success. Winning is always an honour which we accept humbly and with humility. To us winning is part of a journey. It is not the end but only the beginning. We still need to sell those available units. We hope with these awards, it is a testimonial for our products, said En. Jazmi Kamarudin, Senior General Manager (Property). The attributions to the win included location, development concept and timeless design that make it seamless for a condominium development. The overall development component of Cochrane which include MyTown Shopping Centre and IKEA makes One Cochrane Residences a destination of choice. 4 4 Pharmaniaga clinches Best Sustainability Reporting award Congratulations to Pharmaniaga Berhad (Pharmaniaga) for clinching the Best Sustainability Reporting award at the Best Under Billion Awards (BUBA) 2018 held on 9 November 2018 at Hilton Kuala Lumpur. YBhg. Dato Farshila Emran, Managing Director of Pharmaniaga, received the award from YBhg. Datuk Seri Tajuddin Atan, Chief Executive Officer of Bursa Malaysia Berhad. Organised by Focus Malaysia, BUBA recognises small to mid-capitalisation companies listed on Bursa Malaysia. All nominated companies have strong track records of financial performance and display a high level of corporate governance standards. 5 Majlis Peletakan Lunas Kapal Kombat Litoral 3 Tentera Majlis Peletakan Laut Di Raja Lunas Malaysia Kapal Kombat Litoral 4 TLDM Majlis Peletakan Lunas Kapal Kombat Litoral 4 (LCS 4) Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia (TLDM) telah diadakan di Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn. Bhd. (BNS) pada 31 Oktober Majlis dirasmikan oleh YB Senator Liew Chin Tong, Timbalan Menteri Pertahanan. 5 Peletakan lunas adalah aktiviti permulaan proses pencantuman blok yang menjadi asas kepada sebuah kapal dengan menggunakan kaedah pembinaan modular. Dalam majlis ini, penyambungan Blok 03, 04 dan 05 telah dilakukan sebagai simbolik peletakan lunas kapal LCS 4 yang merupakan salah satu agenda di bawah Rancangan Pembangunan Pertahanan Maritim. Majlis ini turut disaksikan oleh YBhg. Laksamana Tan Sri Ahmad Kamarulzaman Hj. Ahmad Badaruddin, Panglima Tentera Laut; Pn. Mastura Ahmad Mustafa, Timbalan Ketua Setiausaha (Pembangunan) Kementerian Pertahanan; YBhg. Lawatan Kerja Timbalan Menteri Pembangunan Usahawan ke BNS Pada 9 Oktober 2018, Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn. Bhd. (BNS) menerima lawatan kerja daripada YB Datuk Wira Dr. Mohd Hatta Md. Ramli, Timbalan Menteri Pembangunan Usahawan yang juga merupakan Ahli Parlimen Lumut. Ketibaan beliau dan delegasi telah disambut oleh YBhg. Tan Sri Dato Seri Ahmad Ramli Hj. Zubair Abdullah, General Manager Factory Operations 1, Mr. BT Gan, CEO/Managing Director and Datuk Koo Hock Fee, Director/Advisor with ENGIE s Managing Director, Mr. Renaud Caillaud and Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Wong Yin Kee UAC Berhad (UAC) signed an agreement with ENGIE Services Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. for the redesign and revamp of the compressed air system at UAC s manufacturing plant in Tasek Industrial Estate, Ipoh. The ceremony was held on 25 June 2018 at Menara UAC in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya. This agreement calls for ENGIE to redesign, install, commission, operate and maintain the revamped compressed air system to produce compressed air to meet the requirements of UAC s manufacturing operations in Ipoh. This is expected to improve the quality and supply reliability of compressed air and enhance production efficiency in the plant. The project also aims to improve energy efficiency by 18% and reduce emission of CO2 by 520 tonnes per year, in line with UAC s mission to use energy resources efficiently and reduce waste and CO2 emissions. Boustead Plantations celebrates Merdeka and Malaysia Day 2018 Staff of Boustead Plantations waving the national flags On 13 September 2018, Boustead Plantations Berhad (Boustead Plantations) held its second annual celebration of Merdeka and Malaysia Day, themed Sayangi Malaysiaku, at Café Royale, Menara Boustead. The half-day event began with a prayer led by En. Abhanizam Abdullah, followed by the singing of the national anthem, Negaraku. The programme continued with the recitation of the Rukun Negara led by En. Ruslan Jonet, and a rendition of the patriotic song Setia, which all staff rose for to show their respect towards their beloved country. Mr. Chow Kok Choy, Chief Executive Officer, officiated the ceremony From left - Mr. Chow, Dato Shoib and En. Azlan ready to set the pigeons free after a welcome speech by En. Sharudin Jaffar, Director of Operations, Plantations. It was a beautiful ceremony which featured three pigeons being released to the sky to symbolise Malaysia s freedom and independence. The three pigeons symbolised the three main races in Malaysia: Malay, Chinese and Indian.

7 7 Lantern Festival In conjunction with the Lantern Festival, Mutiara Rini Sdn. Bhd. organised a property talk on 29 September 2018 at One Cochrane Sales Gallery. Two prominent property speakers, En. Khalil Adis and Mr. Chris Tan, were invited to share their perspectives and tips on property investment. The event, which was themed Colours of One Cochrane, kicked off with a welcome message by Ms. Bernie Chan, a Malaysian model and actress. Khalil, renowned for his independent views and insights on the property market, gave a talk on Connectivity and Your Property whilst Chris, a practicing lawyer and regular guest speaker for corporate, academic and public events, talked about Mastering the Art of War in Property Investment. To liven things up, there were fun activities like lantern painting and Chinese calligraphy. In addition, a photo booth was set up for guests to commemorate the event with a selfie, wefie or groufie. Guests were also served traditional delicacies such as mooncakes, tang yuan, dim sum, roti bakar and kopi-o kampung. Enjoyed by all, the event ended on a high note at 6:00 p.m. Guests listening attentively to a talk by renowned property speaker, Khalil Adis Kids having fun painting the lanterns PASKAL Movie Gala Night On 18 September 2018, Boustead Holdings Berhad participated in the PASKAL Movie Gala Night as one of the main sponsors for the movie. More than 300 Bousteadians comprising management and staff attended the event held at Golden Screen Cinemas in Mid Valley. The event was graced by Defence Minister, YB Tn. Hj. Mohamad Sabu, senior army officer, the cast of the movie and celebrities. The film screening started at 9:00 p.m. and ended at about 11:00 p.m. with cocktails and cast interview sessions. Bousteadians did not miss the opportunity to take photos with their favourite celebrities. Overall, PASKAL has received positive reviews from audiences. Boustead s participation in sponsoring PASKAL reflects our commitment as part of the Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera Group of Companies. 8 8 Corporate Planning and Group Legal & Compliance Departments trip to Cherating, Pahang (3-6 August 2018) The Corporate Planning and Group Legal & Compliance Departments team building trip to Cherating was held from 3-6 August It involved a total of 17 staff from both departments participating. The objective was to encourage teamwork, strengthen bonds and reward staff with a fun-filled trip to show appreciation for their hard work. patin bakar tempoyak, daging salai Jaman Tory and gulai patin ikan tempoyak. While having our lunch, a simple prizegiving ceremony was held for the winners of the bowling tournament. Before heading back to Cherating, we stopped by Kula Cakes to try their bestselling mango cheese cake. Then, we continued our day with a Mangrove River Cruise. Everyone enjoyed and appreciated the beautiful and peaceful mangrove forest along the river, where we also spotted a few reptiles such as a boa constrictor and pit viper. Group photo at Genting Highland Premium Outlets Our first day started early at 8:00 a.m., with the Day staff assembling at Menara Boustead to head 1 off to Cherating. On our way, we stopped at Genting Highland Premium Outlets, the first hilltop premium outlet centre in Southeast Asia, for breakfast and to do some shopping. We took a group photo and enjoyed the scenic mountain views by riding the cable car to the lifestyle mall at SkyAvenue Resorts World Genting. After Friday prayers, we headed to Warung Aziz Satar in Kemaman for dinner before checking in at Royale Chulan Cherating. Group photo before bowling tournament After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we left early Day for our day trip to Kuantan. As part of our team 2 building, a mini bowling tournament was held at Berjaya Megamall Kuantan. Everyone was eager to win the game and at the same time rooting for each other to do their best. Later on, we had a scrumptious lunch at Jaman Tory, a well-known restaurant for patin tempoyak. A wide range of food was served, such as After an exciting and adventurous trip, we ended the day enjoying a poolside BBQ dinner together with the Company Secretarial Department which was also on their team building trip. Day Enjoying nature and fresh air 3 After breakfast, we headed to Kuala Terengganu. We arrived after a two-hour journey and had lunch at a popular local eatery, Restoran Mat Binjai, where we tried the delicious sotong bakar along with fresh ulam-ulaman. The highlight of the day was shopping at Pasar Payang, Kuala Terengganu. There were lots of local snacks, batik clothing, and songket sold and all of us bought handmade souvenirs and keropok. We also went to Kemaman to buy fresh anchovies and Kuantan biscuits before having dinner at Restoran Baiduri 2, Monica Bay. On our last day in Cherating, we checked out at Day 10:00 a.m. and headed to Keropok Intan, a famous 4 stall selling keropok lekor and many other frozen foods. There, we were served freshly cooked keropok lekor and hot tea. We then happily headed back to Kuala Lumpur to end our team building trip. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during the four-day team building trip and built stronger bonds with each other. Photo by the seaside

10 10 Bomb Threat and Fire Evacuation Drill at Menara Boustead and Wisma Boustead Various types of bombs being displayed Bomb Threat and Fire Safety briefing was held on 24 A September 2018, conducted by TPgB Mohd Eirwan Hussin from Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia (BOMBA) Balai Bomba Hang Tuah and ASP Azhril Hashim from Jabatan Sumber Strategik dan Teknologi (START), Polis DiRaja Malaysia (PDRM). A total of 150 participants comprising Emergency Response Team, fire marshals, security personnel as well as representatives from BOMBA and PDRM attended the one-day briefing session. Simultaneous bomb threat and fire evacuation drill exercises were held on 4 December 2018 at Menara Boustead and Wisma Boustead involving 1,700 people, including tenants, fire marshals, the building management team, security personnel as well as the building s Emergency Response Team. Medical Team attending to a bomb threat victim The bomb threat exercise was supervised by START from Ibu Pejabat PDRM Bukit Aman, while the fire evacuation drill was supervised by BOMBA from Balai Bomba Hang Tuah with the help of Traffic Police Kuala Lumpur and Persatuan Bulan Sabit Merah. BOMBA declared the drill a success, clocking in an evacuation time of 22 minutes for Menara Boustead and 8 minutes for Wisma Boustead. The maximum evacuation time limit is 28 minutes for Menara Boustead and 8 minutes for Wisma Boustead. A post mortem session was held following the drill, chaired by BOMBA Officer, PPgB Logeswaran a/l Lavan. He stressed that building occupants should participate in such exercises with seriousness and familiarise themselves with evacuation procedures, as an emergency could occur in a building when least expected. Some of the issues that he highlighted were failure to open tenants entrance doors as they are not connected to the building alarm system, as well as flat shoes to be worn by female staff at the office. 11 11 Boustead Curve Bowling Tournament 2018 Boustead Curve Sdn. Bhd. (Boustead Curve) organised a Bowling Tournament on 6 October The event, officiated by YBhg. Dato Sri Ghazali Mohd Ali, Property Divisional Director of Boustead Holdings Berhad, was held at Ampang Superbowl@eCurve. A total of 24 teams comprising 96 staff from Boustead Curve, Boustead DCP Sdn. Bhd. and Boustead Ikano Sdn. Bhd. participated in the tournament. The event aimed to promote balanced and healthy lifestyles as well as to emphasise the value of teamwork. From 30 November 2018 to 1 January 2019, visitors were transported to France, as iconic French landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower decorated the mall s Centre Atrium. Right at the centre, the famed Arc de Triomphe formed the backdrop against a classic red circus stage, bringing the audience the authentic feel of a circus in the streets of Paris. Visitors to the mall enjoyed a riveting musical performance, with stunning costumes and catchy French tunes. This included programmes for SK Si Rusa and SK Sungala, both in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. Program Motivasi Persediaan UPSR 2019 The programme aimed to motivate Standard 5 students to strive for academic excellence in the UPSR 2019 examinations and instil resilience and determination. The activities conducted included a time management workshop, training on basic learning skills and a group prayer. The programme comprised a total of 70 students, six teachers and four motivational coaches. SK SUNGALA Students listening attentively to the invited speaker Pecutan Saujana UPSR The programme was organised to encourage students to strive for excellence in their UPSR examinations, provide tips on good time management and enhance their confidence levels. A total of 24 students and 12 teachers were involved in the programme. The activities included practising with pre-upsr examination exercises from various states as well as providing answering techniques for the UPSR examinations. SK SI RUSA Program Pecutan Perkampungan Pintar Kecemerlangan UPSR The programme aimed to empower Standard 6 students to achieve academic excellence in their UPSR examinations. A total of 60 students, 20 teachers and five invited speakers participated in the programme. Among the activities conducted were workshops for English, Mathematics, Science and Bahasa Melayu subjects, as well as a group prayer. GCCA anjur kempen derma darah Bagi membantu memenuhi keperluan bekalan darah, Jabatan Komunikasi Korporat & Pentadbiran Kumpulan (GCCA), Boustead Holdings Berhad telah menganjurkan kempen derma darah dengan kerjasama Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya. Program tersebut yang diadakan dua kali setahun mendapat sambutan yang menggalakkan daripada kakitangan Boustead, para penyewa bangunan Wisma dan Menara Boustead serta individu-individu di sekitar kawasan segi tiga emas itu. Extra coaching session for Mathematics subject Lebih 100 orang tampil menderma darah, namun hanya 78 orang yang layak menderma setelah berjaya melepasi ujian saringan kesihatan. Kempen ini menunjukkan keprihatinan orang ramai untuk menderma darah dan sama-sama meringankan beban mereka yang kurang bernasib baik. 13 13 Pertandingan Memancing KSB 2018 Tempoh tiga jam pertama bagi Jafri Kamaruddin menunggu penuh sabar dalam pertandingan memancing di Kolam Pancing Ayah Den, Hulu Langat, berbaloi setelah dia berjaya menaikkan seekor ikan patin seberat 7.36 kg kg menerima wang tunai sebanyak RM100 dan sebuah piala. Manakala tempat ketiga menjadi milik Asmadi Mohd Taqi dengan tangkapan ikan patin seberat 2.15 kg. Kejayaan itu membolehkan Jafri muncul juara keseluruhan pertandingan dengan menewaskan 17 peserta lain, sekaligus membawa pulang hadiah wang tunai sebanyak RM150 dan sebuah piala. Naib juara, Abdul Halim Junit yang berjaya menangkap ikan patin jenis Chaophraya seberat Seramai 18 pemancing tegar bersaing dalam Pertandingan Memancing 2018 anjuran Kelab Sukan Boustead (KSB) yang berlangsung pada 27 Oktober Acara disempurnakan oleh Setiausaha KSB, En. Mohamed Hisham Hashim. Juara - Jafri Naib juara - Abdul Halim Pemancing tegar bergambar kenangan Tempat ketiga - Asmadi Alfatihah Pada 3 Oktober 2018 yang lalu, Jabatan Komunikasi & Pentadbiran Kumpulan (GCCA), Boustead Holdings Berhad telah kehilangan seorang kakitangannya yang berdedikasi iaitu En. Muhamad Fauzi Othman akibat jangkitan kuman pada organ dalaman. Allahyarham yang merupakan Eksekutif Produksi dan juga jurugambar rasmi syarikat, meninggal dunia pada usia 49 tahun. Dia meninggalkan seorang isteri dan tiga orang anak yang berusia antara tahun. Selama berada bersama syarikat, arwah dikenali sebagai rakan sekerja dan sahabat yang agak pendiam, kuat beribadat, baik budi pekerti dan amat disenangi oleh sesiapa sahaja yang mengenali dia. 14 14 GCCA staff volunteers at Cerebral Palsy Deputy Frame Football Chairman/Group session Managing Director's message On Saturday, 13 October 2018, a group of volunteers from the Group Corporate Communication & Administration Department (GCCA), Boustead Holdings Berhad, had the opportunity to participate in a Cerebral Palsy Frame Football game with ten children from Gabungan Anak-Anak Palsi Serebrum. The event was held at Forum 19 Futsal Court in Petaling Jaya. Under their coach s instructions, we were taught how to encourage these children, whose neurological condition affects their movement, muscles, posture and coordination of their bodies, to move around the futsal court. It was a truly humbling experience and we were grateful for the opportunity to understand more about their plight. Come on, you can do it! Group photo with the children Sukarelawan GCCA meraikan sambutan Hari Kanak-Kanak IAC Pada hari Sabtu, 24 November 2018, beberapa sukarelawan daripada Jabatan Komunikasi & Pentadbiran Korporat (GCCA), Boustead Holdings Berhad telah meluangkan masa bersama kanak-kanak autisme pada sambutan Hari Kanak-kanak Ideas Autism Centre (IAC) bertempat di Taman Pudu Ulu, Cheras. IAC adalah sebuah projek kebajikan yang memberi perkhidmatan pendidikan, terapi dan asuhan kepada kanak-kanak autisme dalam kalangan keluarga berpendapatan rendah. Sambutan Hari Kanak-kanak ini diadakan bukan sahaja untuk meraikan kanak-kanak autisme di pusat tersebut tetapi juga untuk mengadakan jualan amal untuk mengumpul dana bagi menampung kos aktiviti pusat tersebut. Seawal bulan Oktober lagi, GCCA telah mengumpul pakaian dan permainan terpakai hasil sumbangan kakitangan dari syarikat Kumpulan Boustead untuk dijual semula oleh IAC. 15 15 KSB anjur Percutian 3 Hari 2 Malam ke Batam, Indonesia Pada 9-11 November 2018, Kelab Sukan Boustead (KSB) telah menganjurkan lawatan 3 hari 2 malam ke Batam, Indonesia. Seramai 43 orang ahli KSB termasuk ahli keluarga mereka telah menyertai lawatan kali ini. Ahli rombongan berkumpul di Menara Boustead pada jam 12:00 tengah malam sebelum bertolak ke The Zone, Johor Bahru (JB). Setibanya di Kompleks Kastam The Zone pada jam 7:30 pagi, taklimat disampaikan oleh wakil penganjur, Citra Indomas sebelum bertolak ke Batam dengan menaiki feri. Hari Pertama (9 November) Setelah dua jam perjalanan, ahli rombongan tiba di Batam Centre Ferry Terminal pada jam 10:00 pagi (waktu Indonesia). Destinasi pertama ialah lawatan ke kilang kopi - 70 Fahrenheit Koffie di mana para peserta berpeluang untuk merasai keenakan pelbagai jenis kopi. Seterusnya, ahli rombongan menjamu selera di Restoran Sari Bunga yang terkenal dengan masakan nasi padang. Selesai makan tengahari, ahli rombongan bergerak ke Hotel Amaris untuk check-in dan beristirehat. Sesi bergambar berkumpulan di monumen Welcome to Batam pelancong untuk membeli-belah di Dry Market dan Kilang Batik. Selesai membeli-belah, ahli rombongan menikmati makan tengahari di Restoran Saung Sunda Suwangi yang menyajikan makanan Sunda. Aktiviti membeli-belah diteruskan di DC Mall dan Nagoya Hill untuk mencari pelbagai barangan dan buah tangan yang menarik. Sementara menunggu makan malam, ahli rombongan melakukan aktiviti free & easy sebelum dibawa ke Restoran Wey Wey Seafood yang menghidangkan pelbagai jenis makanan laut yang enak. Destinasi tarikan utama Jambatan Barelang Ahli rombongan fokus mendengar penjelasan mengenai pembuatan kek pisang Pada sebelah petang, ahli rombongan telah dibawa melawat Jambatan Barelang yang merupakan destinasi utama pelancongan dan kemudian menikmati makan malam di Restoran Barelang Seafood. Acara makan malam dimulakan dengan ucapan alu-aluan oleh Setiausaha KSB, En. Mohamed Hisham dan dimeriahkan lagi dengan aktiviti cabutan bertuah serta sesi karaoke. Hari Kedua (10 November) Acara dimulakan dengan lawatan ke Miniatur Rumah Adat. Seterusnya ahli rombongan dibawa oleh pemandu Hari Ketiga (11 November) Hari terakhir, rombongan menuju ke monumen Welcome to Batam untuk sesi bergambar berkumpulan dan melawat Masjid Raya Batam. Lawatan diakhiri dengan kunjungan ke Kilang Pembuatan Kek Pisang Villa yang terkenal di Batam. Rombongan tiba di The Zone, JB sekitar jam 5:00 petang sebelum bertolak ke Kuala Lumpur dan selamat tiba di Menara Boustead pada jam 12:00 tengah malam. 16 16 Boustead - LTAT Tenpin Bowling Tournament 2018 In conjunction with Hari Sukan Negara on 13 October 2018, Kelab Sukan Boustead (KSB) and Kelab Sukan and Rekreasi Tabung Angkatan Tentera (KESURETA) jointly organised a Tenpin Bowling Tournament for the third time at Wangsa Bowl (U-Bowl) in One Utama Shopping Mall. The objectives were to strengthen the bond and foster good relationships between the sports clubs and participating companies. A total of 136 participants took part in the tournament. They were divided into 34 teams of which 22 teams were from KSB and 12 teams from KESURETA. Each team consisted of four players. KSB s President, En. Fahmy Ismail and KESURETA s President, Pn. Nik Amlizan Mohamed welcomed and thanked the participants, especially the committee members for organising the tournament. YBhg. Dato Shoib Abdullah, YBhg. Datuk Zakaria Sharif, En. Fahmy and Pn. Nik Amlizan later performed the roll-off for the tournament s opening ceremony. Participants went all out for over three hours to win the top spots. A simple prize-giving ceremony was held at the end of the tournament.
