7 DAY 04: PUNO Tour: Uros and Taquile islands (Full day) Visit in shared boat to the Island of Uros: Ancestral descendents of the Aymaras construct their houses on artificial floating islands that they themselves have elaborated on the waters of Lake Titikaka, in which they live in organizations and still keep their ancestral customs. Continuation to Taquile: the largest island on Lake Titikaka, they conserve their traditions, customs and laws intact from the Inca era. Stand outs include the beauty of the landscape, its archeological remains, sacred and ceremonial sites, their festive and ritual activities in accordance to their cosmovision, and the daily life of the population dedicated to agriculture, textiles and fishing.
