TRANSFER IN: EL DORADO AIRPORT - HOTEL Assistance at El Dorado International Airport and private transfer service to the hotel that passenger choose within the city limits. Accommodation. DAY 02. CITY TOUR WITHOUT MONSER- RATE. PRIVATE SERVICE (4 HOURS) Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing and walking tour to downtown Bogotá through its old and narrowed streets by fronts with republican style, Art Deco, Bauhaus and some others that have joined the Greek art and the austere architecture at the end of the nineteenth century with artistic syncretism; among these buildings you can admire the Colon theater, San Carlos Palace, House of Nariño (residence of the President of the Republic), Bolivar Square, Primary Cathedral of Bogotá, National Capitol and Lievano Palace. In the same blocks of the Republic Bank you will visit the Republic Bank the Art Museum, whose showrooms exhibit art pieces dated back to the European Renaissance and all the vanguards of the last hundred years, you will also visit the Botero Museum to admire one of the most recognized international art exhibitions. Then, access the Gold Museum to visit the showrooms in which are exhibited pieces of pre Columbian goldsmith; through them are known the cosmic world of Tayrona, Muisca or Augustinian Societies among others. Note: Gold Museum is closed on Mondays and the Republic Bank Art Museum and Botero Museum are closed on Tuesdays Frequency: Wednesday to Sunday. The tour begins at 09:00 hours. Free afternoon. We suggest taking the OPTIONAL VISIT TO THE SALT CATHE- DRAL IN ZIPAQUIRÁ. PRIVATE SERVICE (4 HOURS). Going to the north of the city, is crossed one part of the Sabana of Bogotá, where their rural and urban landscapes transmit images, sensations and smells only possible in the tropics. When you reach the town of Zipaquirá you enter to the Salt Cathedral, a catholic religious temple conditioned in the tunnels that are no longer mined. In this place, a set of figures developed with the concepts of naturalist, expressionist and conceptual art lead to the withdrawal and mystical sense of the temple. Are admirable the tunnels where is located the History, Aroma and Sun: Bogotá, Coffee Region and
3 via crucis, a complex work of conceptual art. At the end of the tour to the cathedral, you will enjoy a panoramic tour to see the architecture that the municipality of Zipaquirá preserves both the colonial as the republican period. Frequency: Monday to Sunday. The tour begins at 14:00 hrs. Accommodation. DAY 03 TRANSFER OUT: HOTEL - EL DORADO AIRPORT Breakfast at the hotel. At morning private transfer from the hotel that passengers choose within the city limits to the airport to take a flight to the Coffee Zone. COFFEE ZONE TRANSFER IN: AIRPORT - HOTEL Assistance at the airport and private transfer service to the hotel passengers choose. INTERACTIVE COFFEE PROCESS. PRI- VATE SERVICE. (5 HOURS) At morning, pick up at the hotel and departure to the Quindío department, here the coffee plantations are part of the Cultural Coffee Landscape declared by the UNESCO as a National Heritage. In one of the Coffee plantations, you will completely experience the coffee process; first you will go all over the coffee plantations, then you will visit the processing plant and finally you will observe the thresh, roasting and the packed of this delicious processed seed, also you will receive explanations about its origins and preparation. Frequency: Monday to Sunday. The tour begins at 9:00 am. Accommodation. DAY 04. TOUR IN SALENTO AND COCORA VALLEY. PRIVATE SERVICE (8 HOURS) Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning at 9:00 hours, departure to the Cocora Valley in Quindío. On the way we can appreciate the beautiful landscape. Once you reach the Valley, you will have a welcome drink ( Canelazo ) and assistance by an eco-guide specialized of Cocora. We will walk to the cloud forest where biodiversity of fauna and flora of the place will surround us. Returning, we will take the ecological path of the "bi-palm wax", the highest in the world and national insignia tree, where we do the ritual of Quindío wax palm that consists in knowing the story of how the Aborigines worshiped this palm. Then, we do the planting of palm seedlings for eternity, time for lunch and finally, we will end in the town of Salento where we will visit "Plaza de Bolivar", the colorful and typical balconies, "calle real" the handcraft shops and the viewpoint of Cocora Frequency: Tuesday to Saturday. The tour begins at 13:00 hours. Accommodation. DAY 05. TRANSFER OUT: HOTEL - AIR- PORT Breakfast at the hotel. Private transportation service from the hotel that passengers choose to the airport for taking a flight to Cartagena. CARTAGENA DE INDIAS TRANSFER IN: RAFAEL NUÑEZ AIR- PORT - HOTEL Assistance at the Airport and private transfer to the hotel that passenger choose within the city limits. Accommodation. DAY 06. CITY TOUR. SHARED SERVICE (3 HOURS) Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning to enjoy the hotel installations or the sea. In the afternoon sightseeing tour through the main History, Aroma and Sun: Bogotá, Coffee Region and
4 neighborhoods of the city: Bocagrande, Castillogrande and Manga. Then a quick walking tour in the walled area, you will pass by some of its beautiful squares and narrow streets. Visit to the "Castillo de San Felipe" and ascent to "Cerro de la Popa" where we visit the convent. Note 1: Departure time will apply as follow: Las Amércicas Hotel: 13:30 hours; Historical Center: 13:45 to 14:00 hours; Bocagrande: 14:25 hours; Laguito and Castillogrande: 14:30 hours. Note 2: For departures from hotels located at the Morros sector, passengers should arrive by their own at the Hotel Las Americas at the time reported. When tour ends, passengers will be dropped at the Hotel Las Américas and shall return to the selected hotel by their own. Frequency: Monday to Sunday. The tour begins at 14:00 hours. Accommodation. DAY 07. FULL DAY ROSARIO ISLANDS. SHARED SERVICE Breakfast at the hotel.
