31 Local Support and Information -Gifu- Gifu Located in the urban area, Gifu City is abundantly blessed with nature and tradition including the famous tourists spots such as Ukai, cormorant fishing on the pristine Nagara River, Gifu Castle and Mt. Kinka covered by the primeval forest at 329 meters above sea level. Especially, Ukai on the Nagara River has 1,300 year history and ODA Nobunaga, one of the greatest daimyō generals in the Sengoku (Warring States) Period also enjoyed Ukai on the Nagara River. 37 Local Support and Information -Gifu- Support Program for Incentive tours 1/2 Budgetary Support <Summary of the support > A support program for the company conference/meeting visiting Gifu with more than 30 participants (more than 15 participants for overseas company) staying at the assigned accommodations in Gifu. <Contents of support> 1.Support for the transportation In case of the conference being held in the facilities of World Event Village Gifu such as Gifu Memorial Center, Gifu Sports Plaza and Gifu International Convention Center, and bus transportation needed, maximum \50,000 per bus (limited to two buses) is supported. The bus should be operated by one of the bus companies belonging to Gifu Bus Association. In case of using the bus out of Gifu Prefecture for the transportation, \20,000 per bus (limited to two buses) would be supported. 2.Support for the venue fee In case of the conference/meeting being held in the facilities of World Event Village Gifu such as Gifu Memorial Center, Gifu International Convention Center, maximum \30,000 is supported. 3.Special support for the Overseas Company/Association 1 English lecture by Imperial Cormorant Fishing Master. During the Ukai season (from 11 th May to 15 th October), 20-minute English lecture about Ukai will be done on a boat. Out of Ukai Season, the lecture will be done at the convention facility or hotel. 2 Dispatching the Volunteer Interpreter Two volunteer interpreters (English) per the group with 15 foreign participants will be dispatched with the limit of 10 interpreters. Maximum 5 boats. 2 Support for the charter bus In case of using the charter bus, maximum 50,000 yen per bus will be supported. Maximum 2 buses. (Excluding the technical study training tour for own company). [Conditions] Group Tour with more than 10 foreign participants from overseas country. Staying in Nagoya city for more than 3 nights. Itinerary with sightseeing in Nagoya City for more than half day including visiting sightseeing spots or shopping. The tour should be completed by the end of February of the fiscal year when a written request is submitted. And all necessary documents, including the performance report, should be submitted by 10 March of the same fiscal year. The tour to be conducted regularly, business trip and/or study tour to improve the ability should be excluded. The tour related to religious and/or political activities should be excluded.
