4 What is the Blueprint? Blueprint for Transportation Excellence (BTE) is the JTA s 20-year strategic plan to transform travel in Jacksonville. The expansive list of BTE initiatives will: Support the JTA s vision to improve the quality of life for Jacksonville citizens. Modernize JTA technology. Employ best-in class solutions to position the JTA as a regional leader in multimodal transportation. Position Northeast Florida for a robust future. 4

6 What is Blueprint 2020? Blueprint 2020 is the JTA s five-year strategic plan to implement select initiatives designed to immediately enhance the economic viability of greater Jacksonville. Blueprint 2020 initiatives include cutting-edge technology and industry best-practices that will benefit JTA customers and citizens of the greater Jacksonville region. 6

20 First Coast Flyer (BRT) Schedule First Coast Flyer is a new Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service that JTA is implementing to take customers where they are going more quickly. Benefits: Fewer stops Transit signal priority at stoplights, enabling buses to travel up to 10-15% faster 10-minute peak/15-minute off-peak frequency Low floor, uniquely branded buses Real time passenger information at stops. 20
