As the winter in the States has been rather unorgiving this year, many o our Members have spent time relaxing with us in the Caribbean sunshine! Our tropical weather is heating up as we head into spring, and exciting things are taking place at the Club and on the island. In this newsletter, you will see recommendations or local island activities rom the Member Services Concierge Team. You will also see details about a new event that the Grand Palazzo Club and Pelican's Bar have started on a weekly basis. I am proud to announce that the Grand Palazzo Club scores are at the highest they have ever been. Our Members have very much enjoyed the restaurant and we are excited to see some unique and memorable events GPC will create in 2016! In the next pages, you will also ind our Club leadership announcements and the aces o some o our new Ladies and Gentlemen. 2 Grand Palazzo Club Events Sushi and Jazz on Sundays 4:00-7:00 p.m. The Grand Palazzo Club is now hosting a new Sushi and Jazz night on Sunday evenings. This event is hosted outside on the lawn by Pelican's Beach Bar. Our Members can now enjoy a sushi buet including a variety o rolls, edamame and a seaweed salad. Come and join us! Upcoming 2016 Local Events 6th Annual Taste the Nations Virgin Islands Restaurant Festival Saturday, March 12, 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Join us or this tasty celebration o diversity. Restaurants rom around the USVI choose a country to represent and share their amazing culinary creations. Over 30 nations are represented plus Montessori School parents provide abulous homemade ethnic oods representing their diverse heritage. Peter Gruber International students provide international entertainment through dance and music. Tickets are $25 in advance per person and $30 at the door, or an all you can taste experience. This will be the 2nd Annual St. Thomas International Regatta. On behal o the St. Thomas Yacht Club, we are honored to oer sailors rom around the world three days o unparalleled competition and shore side excitement. The St. Thomas International Regatta is etched into every racer's mind as the "Crown Jewel" o Caribbean racing where sailors can experience our reliable breezes, warm azure waters and world-renowned Island hospitality. St. Thomas Carnival April 2 April 30. This year's Carnival theme is "Nothing is more abulous than Carnival in St. Thomas." Carnival 2016 is scheduled to begin April 2 with the Calypso Elimination Tent and end on April 30 with the Adults Parade and Fireworks. This event is put on by The Virgin Islands Carnival Committee, a non-proit organization ormed by individuals o St. Thomas, Virgin Islands to enhance tourism, and to preserve and promote the culture o the Virgin Islands..

3 Warm Welcome to the New Ladies and Gentlemen Steven Philip became a member o our Front Oice team in October. Prior to this, Steven worked at the Cyril E. King airport with Ramp Management. Born in St. Thomas and having lived here all his lie, Steven is currently enrolled at the University o the Virgin Islands studying Criminal Justice. During his leisure time, Steven enjoys playing video games and basketball. His avorite team is the Oklahoma Thunders. Steven Philip Jonel Emmanuel joined the Front Oice team in October. Previously, she worked at Caneel Bay in St. John. Jonel was born in St. Thomas and lived 13 years in Florida. She is pursuing a Communications degree rom the University o the Virgin Islands. Jonel also works part-time at BCBG Max Azria, where she enjoys shopping or un. Jonel Emmanuel Ben Knoeck joined our team in October 2015 as a Pool and Beach Concierge. Previously, upon receiving an Education degree rom the University o Wisconsin, Ben worked as a teacher in Chicago. Outside work, Ben enjoys the beach, snorkeling, scuba diving and swimming. Ben Knoeck Je Lanquedoc is a new addition to our Engineering team. He has an abundance o acility maintenance experience. He began his career at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas and has worked at the Ritz-Carlton in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Renaissance Newark Airport in New Jersey and the Atlanta Airport Marriott. We are excited he is back where he started! On days o, Je loves socializing with his amily and riends. Je Lanquedoc Odine Jubitaire is originally rom Haiti. She joined The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas in April o She transerred to the Club in December o this past year. Odine is one o our top perorming Room Attendants, and she is excited to be part o the Club team. Odine Jubitaire

4 Club Leadership Announcements We are pleased to announce the selections o Jo-Anne Felix as Director o Housekeeping and Nathan Reese as Project Manager at! Jo-Anne Felix Nathan Reese The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami Jo-Anne, originally rom Dominica, began at the Club as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the General Manager. A year later, she transerred to Housekeeping as Oice Coordinator/ Administrative Assistant. It is here that she began her learning plan or rooms management. In February, 2013, Jo-Anne was promoted to Club Manager o Housekeeping and assisted her team in improving Residence Cleanliness scores by 10 points in Jo-Anne most recently served as Club Services Manager. For leisure, Jo-Anne enjoys reading, exercising, local dining and movies. Jo-Anne is an active supporter o Community Footprints and a member o the Wellness Committee. She takes great pleasure in planning company events to celebrate and energize our Ladies and Gentlemen. Nathan is originally rom South Hero, Vermont and graduated rom Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts with a degree in Hospitality Management. Nathan has been a part o The Ritz-Carlton amily since 2013, when he joined as an intern at The Ritz-Carlton Club Corporate Oice. He was later promoted to Voyager Manager through the Voyager Global Leadership Development program. On days o, Nathan enjoys goling and spending time at the beach.
