We remind you that only officials who have attended a tournament officials seminar within a 3 year period will be considered for Europe & Africa Titled Events and other major tournaments. The success of the seminar relies on all officials! The more officials attend the more achievement we gain. It is necessary to book in advance directly at the hotel ( hotel@hotelstep.cz) Cleaning, ironing, sport and wellness services are available in the hotel without reservation. RESERVATION Please pay attention that you need to do 2 steps: 1. Book the congress package before 10 th February 2018 The congress package can be book at shop.cwwf.cz and directly paid there. It s necessary to book the congress package even if you are not going to stay in the official hotel. In that case, there is a special price 44. It s not possible to attend the seminar without the congress package, but it s so convenient that there is no reason to do it. Additional nights can be booked there as well or you can do it directly with the hotel, but then the price is not guaranteed. The very last deadline for booking the congress package is 10 th February After this day it is not guaranteed, neither price nor rooms in the official hotel available. The package can be paid via bank wire transfer, PayPal or in cash/credit card during the IWWF EA Congress in Halle.

The approx. exchange rate is 25,5 CZK = 1 EUR Please NEVER EVER use the exchange office at the airport. They have the worst rates in the city and huge fees. Almost everywhere you can pay with your VISA/MasterCard, so it is recommended to wait with money exchange to the hotel exchange office, where they have much better conditions. Note: At the airport and main train station you don t need the cash neither for purchasing the tickets for the public transport. There are vending machines or booths accepting cards, or ask organizer to send you the tickets in advance. TRAVELING TO PRAGUE Prague is called the hearth of Europe so it is easily accessible from all the major cities in Europe. Average travel distances/times/costs, you can see below. It s strongly recommended purchasing the flight ticket (especially at the low-cost airlines) as soon as possible, at the moment, they are for very good price. TRANSPORTATION IN PRAGUE City transport website: Transport from the Vaclav Havel Airport Prague Public transport from airport to hotel There are two ways both takes approx minutes. 1/ Shorter one, but with 2 changes - At the airport terminal 1 or 2 take bus no. 119 in direction Praha-Veleslavin. - At the terminus (Praha-Veleslavin) get off and change to subway (in Prague called Metro) and take a train in direction DEPO-HOSTIVAR

8 - Get off at the station HRADCANSKA (3 rd stop) and change to the tram no. 25 in direction LEHOVEC, or no. 8 in direction Stary Hloubetin. - Get of the tram at the station BALABENKA - Walk 8 minutes to the hotel ( see the location below) 2/ Longer with only one change and little more of walking - At the airport terminal 1 o 2 take bus no. 100 in direction ZLICIN - At the terminus ZLICIN change to subway (Line B) in direction CERNY MOST - Get off at the station PALMOVKA - Walk approx. 15 minutes to the hotel (see the location below) or hop-on the tram 8 or 25 (see above) for 1 station Tip: If you want to visit the city center on your way from the airport, use the route 1 and get off at the station STAROMESTSKA, to hotel you can use the tram no. 8 form station NAMESTI REPUBLIKY (direction Stary Hloubetin) to the station BALABENKA. Tickets for public transport For all travels in subway, tram or bus there is one type of ticket valid for 90 minutes. The price is 32,- CZK. Ticket can be purchased in vending machines in all subway stations (one is in the hotel too). You have to stamp your ticket at the first entrance to subway or in the tram onboard. From that moment is valid for 90 minutes and you can do unlimited changes. Tickets for unlimited traveling within 24 or 72 hours are available too. Taxi from the airport to hotel At the airport is official transportation service. Buy your ticket for taxi always inside the terminal in the booth. Price 25-30, price is fixed. Feel free to use Uber if you like it. Transport from the railway or bus station to hotel From the main railway station take a subway (line C Red) in direction LETNANY and get off at the next station FLORENC. There is the main bus station too. From FLORENC take tram no. 8 (see above). Transport from the hotel to the city center 5 minutes walking from the hotel is tram station BALABENKA. From it you can take tram no. 8 to the station NAMESTI REPUBLIKY which is very central. WEATHER IN PRAGUE The weather at the end of March can be very changing form sunny and 25 degrees to rainy and 10 degrees please take you shorts and raincoat too

9 SIGHTSEEING Prague is well-known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. If you come for a first time or after a long time it s a must for you to take a walk through its historical center and see the panorama of Prague castle from the Charles Bridge. Especially the old town after sunset is magic. Organizer can arrange for you a sightseeing walk with the professional well educated guides (more than 10 languages available) for Friday morning or Sunday afternoon.
