3 The sophisticated look of the new guest rooms reflects your commitment to quality. RENOVATION: In 2012, the Island Grand invested over $25 Million into its sleeping rooms to reflect a West Indies Décor. As pictured below, the rooms have custom dark wood furniture, new soft goods to include artwork, lighting fixtures, white duvets with tropical bed scarfs, travertine tile, and flat screen TV s. All guest rooms have a wet bar, mini-fridge, mini bar, kitchen utensils, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and more. All suites have a separate living area with a pull-out sleeper sofa, a wet bar, full size refrigerator; 2-burner stove top, microwave, toaster, kitchen utensils. MEETING SPACE: All meeting rooms are equipped with wireless internet, pads of paper, pens, pitchers of water and mints. Please note that the organization guarantees payment for the rental of exhibit space, if needed for their conference. Rental includes the daily upkeep of the area (trash removal, vacuum) at a fee of $50.00 per booth or $25.00 per table top, per day. I have detailed out my suggested space on the attached Meeting Space Schematics. The proposed meeting space is not on hold for your group at this time. Resort guests will have the opportunity to snorkel in the tank among the fish, and participate in a behind the scenes tour. AIRPORT/TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION: Our on-site Resort Transportation Services offers a fleet of vehicles - sedans, Cadillac s, SUV s, and a 27 passenger shuttle bus to get your group to and from Tampa International Airport or any off site events. Arrangement can also be made for 47 or 55-passenger motor coaches, stretch limos you name it. Airport Transportation can be made an advance. Resort Transportation, LLC is located in our lobby and offers personalized service and discounted rates for our guests. Please call Shirley at for a quote. For many of our groups, Shirley, with Resort Transportation manages ride-share programs to keep the cost down for your group meeting attendees! Standard rate is $ round trip for a sedan for up to 4 people (if you can get 4 in a sedan, then the cost is $32.50 per person round trip to fly into an international airport and be at our beautiful beach resort & conference center in 25 minutes!) They offer professional service and also do all the flight tracking & meet and greet at the airport The Super Shuttle also offers direct service to our resort at $49.00 round trip. TradeWinds has a Hertz Car Rental on-site, Taxi Service nearby and the St. Pete Beach Trolley for other types of transportation for your attendees.
