1 1 November 2011 JOYFUL CELEBRATIONS FOR THE FAMILY AND LOVED ONES AT THE PENINSULA BANGKOK Throughout December, a selection of wonderful Christmas and New Year celebrations will take place at The Peninsula Bangkok, as the hotel invites guests to enjoy traditional end-of-year festivities with family and loved ones in its luxurious riverside setting. TREES OF HOPE 8 to 25 December 2011 As part of The Peninsula Bangkok s evocation of the Christmas spirit, the hotel will invite guests to contribute to Trees of Hope, The Peninsula Hotels campaign to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organisation that makes wishes come true for local children with life-threatening medical conditions. In step with other Peninsula hotels worldwide, The Peninsula Bangkok will sell ornaments to be displayed on its Christmas tree, with all proceeds being donated to the campaign. Guests can purchase the ornaments in three festive colours at The Lobby and The Peninsula Boutique with prices ranging from THB 500 for gold, THB 300 for red and THB 100 for silver. TEDDY BEAR AFTERNOON TEA 17 and 18 December 2011 The Peninsula Bangkok proudly invites guests to bring their teddy bears to the hotel for a Teddy Bear Afternoon Tea in The Lobby, where bears and guests alike can soak up the wonderful seasonal atmosphere around the hotel s Christmas tree. Diners can enjoy panoramic views of the Chao Phraya River while sampling festive sweets, savoury pastries and chocolates from the special Teddy Bear Afternoon Tea set. For every set purchased, a donation will be made to UNICEF Thailand. The teas will be held from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, dress is smart casual (for bears and humans) and prices are THB 1,200 for adults, THB 600 for children, while bears eat for free.

2 THE PENINSULA BANGKOK - 2 A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE 24 December 2011 On Christmas Eve The Peninsula Bangkok will abound with yuletide spirit and seasonal traditions, with an assortment of tempting menus created by Mike Peter Wehrle, the hotel s Executive Chef. These menus have been designed to delight guests as they enjoy a wonderful holiday with family and loved ones. At The Peninsula Lawn and The River Cafe and Terrace a gala dinner buffet, with live music from a 12-piece orchestra and contemporary Thai performances, will be served from 7:00 pm onwards. At Thiptara, there will be a gala dinner buffet in a traditional Thai setting, with contemporary Thai dances. The Lobby Terrace will offer a six-course Western set menu, accompanied by live performances from a 12-piece orchestra. The dress code is elegant casual throughout and there will be a special appearance by Santa Claus at all four venues. Dining is priced at THB 4,900 for adults at all three venues and THB 2,450 for children at The Peninsula Lawn and The River Cafe and Terrace and at Thiptara. CHRISTMAS AFTERNOON TEA SET 24 and 25 December 2011 In the Lobby, a Christmas Afternoon Tea Set will be served to ease guests into a holiday mood, complete with entertainment from a live jazz band and a special appearance by Santa Claus. The teas will be available from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and the dress code is smart casual. The tea set is priced at THB 1,200 for adults and THB 600 for children. CHRISTMAS BUFFET BRUNCH 25 December 2011 Guests can savour a fabulous Christmas Day buffet brunch with their family at the River Cafe and Terrace, served in a charming setting alongside the Chao Phraya River and priced at THB 2,800 for adults and THB 1,400 for children. The dress code is smart casual and service is offered from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm.

3 THE PENINSULA BANGKOK - 3 NEW YEAR S EVE AT THE PENINSULA BANGKOK 31 December 2011 With a choice of gala dinners, dancing and live music, The Peninsula Bangkok is a spectacular location in which to welcome the New Year, and guests will be able to give the old year a thunderous send-off as they welcome 2012 with a dazzling fireworks display above the majestic Chao Phraya River. At The Peninsula Lawn, River Cafe and Terrace a gala dinner buffet will be served accompanied by delightful live music from a 28-piece orchestra. At Thiptara, the New Year s Eve gala dinner buffet will be enlivened by contemporary Thai dance performances. Dining is priced at THB 15,500 for adults and THB 7,750 for children at both venues. The Lobby Terrace will offer a sixcourse Western set menu accompanied by a live orchestra, priced at THB 15,500 per person. Mei Jiang will delight guests with a six-course New Year s Eve Chinese feast priced at THB 8,800 per person. The dress code at all five venues is elegant casual and all diners will be treated to a spectacular firework display over the Chao Phraya as the clock counts down to midnight and the New Year. NEW YEAR S DAY BRUNCH 1 January 2012 The Peninsula Bangkok s River Cafe and Terrace will welcome 2012 with a fun-filled New Year s Day Brunch. Guests can start the New Year in style, dining on a wide selection of delectable cuisine, either al fresco or indoors, while enjoying views of the Chao Phraya River. The brunch runs from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm and is priced at THB 2,800 for adults and THB 1,400 for children. The dress code is smart casual.
