OUR ITINERARY: Day 1: August 5, Saturday: Departure from Newark airport in Newark, NJ. Fly to Bucharest. Day 2: August 6: Sunday: Arrival in Bucharest. Meet our guide at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Traditional welcome dinner at Carul cu Bere restaurant, a traditional world pub. Overnight in Minerva hotel. Day 3: August, 7. Monday: Breakfast to our hotel. Bucharest city tour including the Romanian Athenaeum, the Patriarchal Church, the Old Royal Court and village museum - an open-air ethnographic museum showcasing traditional Romanian village life. Then

2 continue on a walking tour of Bucharest. See the Old Center, Noble Court, Lipscani old street, and Hanul lui Manuc. Then along Victoriel Way to Revolution Square. Our bus will bring us to the Peasant's Museum to see hand woven carpets, painted eggs, ceramics and wooden carvings and also buy some souvenirs. Evening meeting with Romanian folk dancers dressed in national costumes. We ll learn folk dances from the Wallachia region. Day 4: August 8, Tuesday: Bucharest Curtea de Arges Sibiu After breakfast, drive to the Transylvania area. En route, stop in Curtea de Arges, former capital of Wallachia. See remnants of the Noble Court, Noble Church, and the white stone sculpted Curtea de Arges monastery -a Byzantine monument, built in the 14'h century. Lunch served in restaurant with a beautiful view of Vidraru Lake Valea cu Pesti. Then on to Cozla monastery, which preserves the memory of its 14 th century builder, Mircea, the Old Romanian ruler. Arrive in Sibiu, with its narrow, crooked streets, old Gothic houses, gables, and pointed roofs. Folk dancing and overnight in Imparatul Romanilor hotel. Day 5: August 9. Wednesday: Sibiu Sibiel Sibiu Morning sightseeing tour of Medieval Sibiu including the historic city center, Main Square Little Square, Old Town Hall's Tower, Ladder Tower, Maria Kirche Teutsch (Evangelical church), and Council Hall's Tower. Afternoon drive to village of Sibiel a traditional lunch cooked by local families and served to their homes. Then on to Sibiel Glass Icons Museum, hosting the largest collection of painted glass icons in Europe more than 700, as well as furniture and ceramics. Meeting with a local Transylvanian folk group dressed in traditional costumes. Dance performance and folk dance lessons in Transylvania/ German dances. Overnight Imparatul Romanilor..Day 6: August 10, Thursday: Sibiu Alba lulla Iulia Cluj Morning drive to Cluj. En route, stop in Alba lulla Iulia to visit the Roman-Catholic Cathedral "St. Michell", built in the 13'h century, and containing the tombs of two of the regions's royals. On to Cluj. We ll tour the old university of Cluj, check into our hotel, then drive in a rural area to enjoy the local traditions: horse cart ride, horse back riding and taking a traditional Transylvanian dinner cooked on an open wood fire with plum brandy and folk music. Stop to visit Turda Salt Mine, one of the most important and recently renovated salt mines in Transylvania. Folk dancing and overnight Capitolina hotel. Day 7: August 11, Friday: C1uj leud Rozavlea Botiza Sapanta Sighetu Marmatlei Morning drive to Maramures, most northern region of Romania. Here ancient Romania co-exists with modern one. We ll visit a land of wooden churches, unique folk costumes and timeless traditions, Experience local Romanian culture and local peasant lifestyle with a delightful village family. We ll visit the Merry Cemetery in Sapanta Village with its brightly colored

3 grave markers. simple paintings and epitaphs. Evening dinner with "ceterasl," the local violin players, accompanied by local dancers who will teach us how to dance Maramures folk dances. Overnight in Sighetu Marmatiei Gradina Morii Hotel. Day 8: August 12, Saturday: Sighetu Marmatiel Moldovita Sucevita Arbore monastery Gura Humorului Drive through Bargau Pass to the historical region of Moldavia. En route, we ll stop to visit some of the greatest monasteries in Moldova region, the painted monasteries of Moldovita, Sucevita and Arbore, famous for their wall frescoes. The oldest, Moldovita, dating from 1410, received the "Pomme d'or" (Golden Apple) in 1975 for its unique paintings. Architecturally, with its fascinating interior and exterior paintings, Sucevita is the most complete monastery. Lunch in local restaurant. Folk dancing. Overnight in Best Western Bucovina hotel in Gura Humorului. Day 9: August 13, Sunday: Gura Humorului Voronet Humor Monastery Dragomirna monastery Gura Humorului After a rich traditional breakfast, today we will explore the Bucovina monasteries of Voronet, Humor and Dragomlrna. Voronet is famous for the unique blue color of Voronet, and the Judgement Day scene embodied on the western facade. Then, visit the local markets and meet the farmers of Humor Village before touring the Wooden Spoons Museum with its private collection of 6,000 spoons. Dinner to our hotel with entertainment by local folk dancers dressed in national costumes. Folk dancing and overnight in a Best Western Bucovina hotel Gura Humorulul. Day 10: August 14, Monday: Gura Humorului Agapia Varatec Matra Neamt Morning departure from Bucovina and continue to Piatra Neamt. On the way, stop to visit the monasteries of Agapia and Varatec, with interior frescoes painted by the famous Romanian painter, Nicolae Grigorescu and workshops used by the nuns for embroideries and carpet weaving. Lunch inside the monastery will be prepared by the nuns. Evening arrival in city of Piatra Neamt. Folk dancing. Overnight in Ceahlaul hotel. Day 11: August 15, Tuesday: Matra Piatra Neamt Bran Brasov Visit the mediaeval Transylvanian town of Brasov. Guided walking tour in the historical center of Brasov including the Black Church, largest gothic structure between Vienna and Istanbul. On to Bran castle where Dracula, the legendary hero, inspired by Vlad Tepes, the Romanian ruler who defended this part of Transylvania, was imprisoned in 1462 by the Hungarian king Matei Corvin. After the visit, we ll see the open-air shopping area, where traditional Romanian artisan crafts can be purchased. Drive to our mountain resort of Poiana Brasov. Dinner in an traditionally decorated hut in the mountains, Folk dancing. Overnight in Sport hotel Polana Brasov. Day 12: August 16, Wednesday: Brasov Bucharest

4 Morning drive to Bucharest. En route, stop at Peles castle, a masterpiece of German new- Renaissance architecture, commissioned by King Carol I in 1873, completed in 1883, one of the most beautiful castles in all of Europe. Lunch at a local restaurant in Sinaia. Upon arrival in Bucharest, check-in to the hotel. Farewell dinner. Overnight in Minerva Hotel in Bucharest. Dispute Resolution: The sole and exclusive method of resolving any dispute which might rise under this agreement and any agreement between Jim Gold International, Inc., and another party (ies), the brochure or website and deemed to arise in the United States of America, shall be by arbitration before the American Arbitration Association in New York City pursuant to the Association s rules then in effect. Any such arbitration must take place in N.Y.C., N.Y. In any such arbitration, the substantive law of N.Y. will apply. In the event a tour participant should find a service or hotel unacceptable, it should be reported immediately to the local representative and to Jim Gold International, Inc. upon their immediate return. No claim shall be deemed legitimate if not reported to the local representative and if reported after the scheduled service or after departure from the hotel. Jim Gold International, Inc. shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage to person, property or otherwise, in connection with any accommodations, transportation, or other services, resulting directly or indirectly from any acts of God, dangerous incident to the sea, fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether or not declared, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, defaults, delays or cancellations of or changes to itineraries or schedules, or from any causes resulting from insufficient or improperly issued passports, visas, or other documents passports, visas, or other documents. Neither Jim Gold International, Inc. nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses or liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes. Tour participant agrees that any claim against Jim Gold International, Inc. is subject only to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the cause of action arose. The right is reserved to substitute hotels and to alter itineraries. The right is also reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure. If any tour is canceled prior to departure, Jim Gold International, Inc. will be responsible only up to the amount of monies Jim Gold International, Inc. received less any cancellation fee applied by a supplier as defined above. Travel Insurance is recommended. Jim Gold International, Inc. is not responsible or liable for defaults of those not directly under the exclusive control of Jim Gold International, Inc. All tickets and vouchers issued for transportation and services are subject to the terms and conditions under which such transportation and services are provided to the participant by the owners or contractors. The traveler assumes full responsibility for, and hereby releases Jim Gold International, Inc. from any duty of checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination or other entry requirements for each destination, and all safety and security conditions during the length of the proposed travel. Should any clause contained here in be determined void by any court of law, such a finding shall not affect the other clauses contained herein; each clause is a covenant which stand on its own.
