Your guide will collect you form your hotel at 2pm (or later by arrangement). Begin with a visit to the Angkor National Museum for an hour's walk around this interactive insight into the history behind Angkor. Continue on to the Artisans' D'Angkor Silk Farm for a tour to see how this amazing material is created all the way from silk production to weaving, followed by a visit to the 'old market' to see the variety of stalls and products.

3 Shortly after, there is some time for shopping or exploring before continuing on to dinner - traditional Khmer food and an Apsara Dance show of traditional Cambodian dance at Por Cuisine Restaurant. It is a rice to riches story for owner Por whose name proudly stands out on the shingle. In 1983 Por had a vision of owning a fine dining restaurant. He started by opening a humble kiosk serving his traditional noodle creations to the people of Siem Reap. His simple dish became an essential part of the community food chain, a taste that made his family well known and celebrated. Now 30 years later, the dream and the flavours have come to life. The family tradition continues but with a state of the art modern classic restaurant design and an exciting array of enticing flavours from both the East and the West. NOTE: Please advise of any dietary requirements 5 th Sep Siem Reap Phnom Penh (B) 5am Glory of Angkor Wat Sunrise Tour Experience the magic of the glorious temple of Angkor Wat at Sunrise. Your guide will collect you from your hotel at 5am for the drive to Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is the best preserved example of Khmer architecture in Cambodia and is so grand in design that some rank it among the Seven Wonders of the World. It appears on the Cambodian national flag, a very rare instance of a flag incorporating an image of a building. The "lost city" of Angkor first attracted the interest of Europeans in the 1800s after Cambodia was colonized by the French. Enjoy the sunrise as the sun reflects and bounces around the complex before your guide will walk through and explain the history and stories of Angkor Wat. You'll also have time to explore on your own if you wish to absorb the magic of this incredible complex or to climb the spires. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90 kilograms and a small 17th c. emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. End your morning with the visit of the Wat Phnom Temple, Phnom Penh's namesake - from where you can enjoy views over the tree-lined avenues of the city Arriving no later for embarkation at the tourist jetty at Sisowath Quay. A tough beginning to understanding Cambodia, but you will make more sense of modern Cambodia with a familiarity of the events of the late 1970 s and how the country has moved on from this tragedy. We visit the Killing Fields and Toul Sleng Museum (S21), where only 7 survived from 1,000 s incarcerated. Passengers will visit Sa Dec and see the local market and the ancient house of Mr, Huyn Thuy Le, the 'lover' of Marguerite Duras, a famous French novelist. At Cai Be, we will cruise through its colourful floating market which takes place daily in front of the Catholic Church. 10 th Sep Saigon (B) Early morning sail from Cai Be for My Tho, where passengers disembark in the early morning for a coach transfer to InterContinental Asiana Saigon Hotel. If required, there is a limited money exchange service available on board but please try and change money at a bank or hotel before embarkation.
