1 Itinerary 14 day tour-passage through Persia Day 01: airport -Tehran Arrival at IKIA airport which is located about 35 KM from the city, overnight stay at Eram hotel (or similar). Day 02: Tehran After breakfast, visiting national museum, Golestan palace and jewelry museum. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 03: Tehran Qom-Kashan We continue our trip to historical city of kashan through Qom and visiting the holy shrine then in kashan visit the Persian historical garden of Fin, You will also visit a fine example of a 19th century merchant residence known as Taba-Tabai and Ameriha Houses. Overnight stay at historical house of Negarestan (or similar). Day 04: Abyaneh -Isfahan After breakfast we drive to abyaneh, one of the oldest villages of Iran, with beautiful historical houses and colorful dresses of residents. Then we head to famous city of Isfahan, visit the famous bridges of Shahrestan/Khajou/Sio-se-pol, overnight stay at Safir hotel (or similar). 1

2 Day 05: Isfahan Full day tour of the beautiful city of Isfahan visit Maidan-e-Naghsh-e-Jahan including Ali Qapu Palace, Sheikh Lotfollah, Imam(Shah) Mosque and Gheisarieh bazaar. Overnight stay in Isfahan. Day 06: Isfahan Visit the Armenian Quarter with several churches, including the important Cathedral of Vank, chehel soton palace and free time in afternoon. Overnight stay at Isfahan. Day 07: Nain- Yazd After breakfast we will continue our trip to historical city of Yazd, on our way we visit Nain, a charming desert town, half way between Yazd and Isfahan, to visit the 10th century Friday Mosque, and the 17th century Pirnia House/Ethnographic Museum (closed on Mondays), with a walk through the old part of the town; continue to Yazd for overnight stay at dad hotel (or similar). Day 08: Yazd Morning visits in Yazd, the center for Iran s small Zoroastrian community, who seeking refuge from the invading Arabs found a safe haven within its fortified walls; visits 2

3 include active Zoroastrian Fire Temple, the fire of which has been burning for about 1500 years. Also visit the Friday Mosque (1324 A.D.) with the highest portal and minarets in Iran, with a walk through the old Fahadan quarter. Overnight stay at Yazd. Day 09: Kerman After checking out we head to Kerman, in the afternoon we will visit Ganj-Ali-Khan Complex (17th century Safavid period bathhouse/caravanserai and bazaar), plus the Friday Mosque and bazaar; overnight stay at hotel. Day 10: Kerman Morning excursion to the village of Rayen, to visit the Arg, or Citadel, of Rayen, a miniature version of the Arg-e-Bam, with all the architectural features of a desert citadel, on the return journey stop at Mahan, to visit the blue-tiled Mausoleum of Shah Nematollah-e-Vali, the great 14th century Sufi Leader; and the Shahzadeh Garden (late 19th century Qajar period garden/house),then return to kerman and overnight stay at hotel. Day 11: Sarvestan- Shiraz After checking out We continue our trip to shiraz, on route we will visit the Sassanid palace in Sarvestan, then continue to shiraz, and overnight stay at royal hotel (or similar). 3

4 Day 12: Shiraz Full day excursion to Persepolis, one of the most important sites of the Ancient World, the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid kings with remains of the palaces of Darius the Great, Xerxes and Artaxerxes, and its famous bas-reliefs, depicting kings and courtiers and gift-bearing representatives of tributary nations of the Persian Empire; also visit Naghsh-e-Rostam to see Ka be-zardosht (fire temple/sanctuary), and Royal Tombs (also Achaemenid); plus seven magnificent Sassanid rock-reliefs (including Shaper the First s famous victory over Roman Emperor Valerian); and Naghsh-e-Rajab, a nearby with several more Sassanid reliefs; return to Shiraz for overnight stay at hotel. Day 13: Shiraz Further city tour of Shiraz to visit some of the famous gardens of this city of roses and nightingales, including the Eram Garden, the pink tiled 19th-century Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque, the Arg-e-Karim Khan (18th-century citadel), at the end of our tour we have a farewell dinner, and transfer to shiraz international airport. Day 14: transfer to airport for departure flight 4
