3 Road Star October, 2014 event On Saturday, October 25, 2014, almost 40 Road Star members gathered at Mercedes-Benz of Fort Pierce for an introduction to the new S Class Coupe, GLA suv and C Class. As we ve become accustomed to, Todd Seth, General Manager, welcomed all of us with refreshments and an interesting surprise given our event was during Oktoberfest, Todd invited the German-American Club s choir to serenade the group. After their great performance, Todd reviewed the new vehicles and what we can expect in the future from Mercedes-Benz, followed by an informative question & answer period. We d like to take this opportunity to publically thank Todd and his team at M-B Fort Pierce for their support of and generosity to the Road Star section. They always put on a great event for us. We all then left for a great lunch at the Cornerstone Bistro in Port St. Lucie. Many thanks to Road Star member, Arthur Burr who helped with the arrangements and to Mr. Mark Anthony Zollo, chef and owner of the Bistro, for opening the facility just for the Road Star section lunch. It s a great venue and the food was superb. Thanks much for having us there.

4 Sunday, December 14, 2014 Road Star Annual Holiday Party Wyndham Grand Jupiter Harbourside Place Jupiter, FL This gala event begins at 12:00 PM at the Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place, 122 Soundings Ave.,, Jupiter, Fl. The cost per person will be $25 and includes a welcome beverage on the balcony overlooking the Intracoastal waterway. Lunch will feature rolls with butter, a Wyndham Grand Signature salad, your choice of Free Range Tanglewood Farm Chicken (10 oz. chicken breast) with Caramelized Onion and Shitake Mushroom Relish, Garlic Whipped Potatoes, Broccolini and Lemon Beurre Blanc OR Tortilla Crusted Tilapia with Spanish Rice, Seasonal Vegetables and Chef s Salsa. Desert choices include Crème Brulee Cheese Cake, Creamy Cheese Cake, Popping Sugar, or Strawberry Shimmer. Coffee or Tazo Tea is included. A cash bar will be available as well. In the spirit of the season, the Board is asking all members to bring a donation of non-perishable food to the party to be donated to local charities to help feed the hungry. HINT: If you take advantage of BOGO deals, you d be amazed how $15 will go. Parking at the hotel: Free parking is available at two lots on Coastal Way as you enter Harbourside Place from the south. One lot is located under the Indiantown Road Bridge (~50 spaces) and the other lot is nearly across the street with ~12 spaces on a first come, first served basis. These two lots are located `2 short blocks from the Wyndham Grand Hotel. Alternatively, there is a multi-story parking deck across the street from the hotel with 2 hours free plus a charge of $3.50 for the third hour, or valet parking available at the hotel rate.
