The term mausoleum comes from this once impressive structure, which is now commonly used to refer to any grand tomb. Halicarnassus was also a city which Alexander the Great laid siege to in 334 BC and where in the 1400s the Knights Hospitalier s built Bodrum Castle with rocks from the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus. The door locking system for all rooms is the standard electronic plastic card system. Each room comes equipped with its own mini bar, tea & coffee set, LCD TV (national & international satellite), direct telephone, special bath equipment, hairdryer, make up mirror, WC, shower, split air condition and electronic safe. The Hillside Annex Family rooms are located on the Miramar Annex area, with a distance of 100m from our general areas. To reach the Hillside Annex rooms, you have to take the elevator followed by a footbridge and then a staircase. Baby cots are available upon request. All rooms are non-smoking rooms. With a door dividing 2 bedrooms and one bathroom, the room has 38 m² and is available for 4 people maximum. SUPERIOR ROOMS: There are totally 85 superior rooms at our resort. These rooms are larger than standard room and can fit people maximum.the room size of these rooms is 34 m². HANDICAPPED PED ROOMS: There are 3 handicap rooms at our resort.
