Pass through security and proceed to your departure gate. You may wish to purchase food to bring on the flight. 8:30am Depart SFO for Boston Logan International Airport via United flight #768. 5:01pm Arrive into Boston Logan International Airport. Collect your luggage in baggage claim then board the coach. Boston offers visitors an irresistible blend of past, present, and future. History and innovation combine to create a small-scale destination that's easy to explore yet always surprising. One of the oldest American cities, Boston is known around the world for high tech and hospitals, arts and music, and dozens of excellent colleges. Arrive at the hotel, unload the coach, obtain room keys, and check-in to your rooms. Assemble in the lobby and load the coach. Depart for a local restaurant. 3 DAY TWO: Thursday, June 14, 2018 BOSTON (B, D) Exchange Performance 7:30am Breakfast as a group at the hotel. 8:45am Assemble in the lobby and load the coach (with instruments and performance attire). 9:00am Depart for CambridgeSide, a major shopping center. ~10:00am Enjoy free time for shopping and an early lunch on your own at CambridgeSide. 11:00am Assemble at a meeting point nearby. 11:15am Walk as a group to the Museum of Science. ~11:30am Upon arrival, assemble in line to load the Ducks. 12:00pm Depart on a Boston Duck Tour. The fun begins as soon as you board your "DUCK", a W.W.II style amphibious landing vehicle. You'll cruise by all the places that make Boston the birthplace of freedom and a city of firsts, from the golden-domed State House to Bunker Hill and the TD Banknorth Garden, Boston Common and Copley Square to the Big Dig, Government Center to fashionable Newbury Street, Quincy Market to the Prudential Tower, and more. ~1:30pm ~1:45pm 3:00pm 3:15pm ~4:00pm ~6:00pm 8:00pm ~9:30pm After your tour concludes, load the coach and transfer to Bunker Hill. Enjoy a self-guided tour of the Bunker Hill Monument and Bunker Hill Museum. Assemble as a group and load the coach. Transfer to Memorial Hall in nearby Melrose, MA, home to the Melrose Symphony Orchestra. Upon arrival, set-up for the evening s concert and rehearse on stage with your exchange ensemble, the Claflin Hill Youth Symphony Orchestra. Dinner as a group nearby the venue (TBC). Exchange Performance at Memorial Hall. Following the concert, pack-up and return to the hotel.

4 DAY THREE: Friday, June 15, 2018 BOSTON (B, D) Clinic, Performance 6:00am Breakfast as a group at the hotel. 6:45am Assemble in the lobby and load the coach (with instruments and performance attire). 7:00am Depart for Boston Symphony Hall. ~8:30am Arrive at Boston Symphony Hall, unload, and set-up for your clinic. 9:00am Seating and warm-up. 9:30am Enjoy a Clinic with a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra as part of the BSO Visiting Ensemble Master Class program. 10:45am After your clinic, enjoy a guided tour of Boston Symphony Hall. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of America's premier concert hall where an experienced member of the Boston Symphony Association of Volunteers unfolds the history and traditions of the Boston Symphony Orchestra-its musicians, conductors, and supporters-as well as offer information about the Hall. 11:45am ~12:00pm ~1:30pm ~2:15pm ~3:00pm ~4:30pm ~5:00pm ~6:30pm After the tour, pack-up all belongings and load the coach. Transfer to Faneuil Hall Marketplace where you will have time for lunch on your own. Retrieve instruments and equipment from the coach and set-up for your performance. Enjoy your Outdoor Pops-Style Performance at Faneuil Hall. After the performance, pack-up and load the coach enjoy time to explore Faneuil Hall and Quincy Markets. Board the ferry for the short ride across Boston Harbor to Charlestown. Enjoy a self-guided visit to the historic USS Constitution. Dinner as a group at a local restaurant in Boston or Charlestown (TBC). After dinner, return to the hotel.

5 DAY FOUR: Saturday, June 16, 2018 BOSTON (B, D) 6:45am Breakfast as a group at the hotel. 8:00am Assemble in the lobby and load the coach. 8:15am Depart for Boston Common. 9:00am Meet your tour guides and enjoy a walking tour of the Boston Freedom Trail. The Freedom Trail takes the visitor to the major sights along the trail over the course of about 90 minutes and covers two and a half centuries of America's most significant past. Since the past and the present live alongside the Trail, its visitors have the opportunity to see the city as it truly is. ~10:45am ~11:15am 12:45pm 1:00pm ~2:30pm ~5:00pm ~6:00pm 7:30pm 8:00pm Load the coach and depart for Harvard Square. Arrive at Harvard Square where you will have lunch on your own. Assemble as a group near Harvard Square. Meet your tour guides and enjoy a historical walking tour of Harvard University. Afterwards, enjoy time to explore and shop at Harvard Square and Harvard University. Load the coaches and transfer to the Symphony Hall area. Dinner as a group nearby Boston Symphony Hall (TBC). Return to Symphony Hall and take your seats. Enjoy a performance by the Boston Pops. Join the iconic Boston Pops led by conductor Keith Lockhart as they perform Bernstein's most beloved Broadway score West Side Story at the final season performance at Symphony Hall! Following the concert, return to the hotel.

6 DAY FIVE: Sunday, June 17, 2018 BOSTON MONTREAL (B, D) 7:15am Breakfast as a group at the hotel. 8:45am Check-out of the hotel with all belongings and load the coach. 9:00am Depart for Montreal, Canada (approx. 6-hour drive + stops). ~1:00pm Lunch on your own in the St. Albans, VT area. ~2:00pm Continue on to Montreal. ~2:30pm Arrive at the United States-Canada border. Please have your passports available for the border crossing. Continue on to Montreal. ~4:00pm 5:45pm 6:00pm 6:30pm French Catholics founded Montreal in 1642 at the confluence of the St. Lawrence River and the Ottawa River. Montreal is the largest French speaking community outside of France, though its sizable Englishspeaking population gives the city a fascinating linguistic mix. Today, with its café culture and joie-de-vivre attitude, Montreal possesses a vibrancy and excitement unlike anywhere else in the world. Arrive in Montreal at the Sandman Hotel Longueuil where you will meet your local Montreal Tour Manager. Unload the coach, obtain room keys, and check-in to your rooms. Assemble in the lobby and load the coach. Depart for a local restaurant. Dinner as a group at Papillion. After dinner, return to the hotel. 7 DAY SIX: Monday, June 18, 2018 MONTREAL (B, D) Performance 7:15am Breakfast as a group at the hotel. 8:15am Assemble in the lobby and load the coach with instruments and performance attire. 8:30am Depart for Old Montreal. 9:00am Meet your local tour guide and enjoy a guided walking tour of Vieux Montreal (Old Montreal). Walking through Old Montréal, the old walled town, you are surrounded by traces of more than 370 years of history. You ll see the birthplace of Montréal, at Pointe-à-Callière, where Sieur de Maisonneuve and Jeanne Mance landed on May 17, Wander down narrow, winding streets, dating back to the origins of the French colony. Admire splendid buildings from the 1700s and some of the most remarkable 19th-century Victorian commercial buildings in North America. ~11:00am 12:30pm ~1:00pm 1:45pm ~2:45pm 3:00pm 5:45pm 6:00pm 6:30pm ~8:00pm Free time for shopping and lunch on your own. Load the coach and depart for Christ Church Cathedral. Arrive, set-up, and rehearse at Christ Church Cathedral. Enjoy your performance at Christ Church Cathedral. Pack-up your instruments, load the coach, and depart for Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal. Enjoy your guided tour of Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal, one of Montreal s most important and impressive religious structures (TBC). After the tour, load the coaches and return to the hotel. Assemble in the lobby and load the coach. Depart for a local restaurant. Dinner as a group at the Restaurant Vieux-Port. After dinner, load the coach and depart on the Montreal-by-Nite excursion to the top of Mont Royale. The Mont Royal offers a breathtaking view of the city s night lights, structures, and the St. Lawrence River from the belvedere of Mont Royal Park. Return to the hotel.

8 DAY SEVEN: Tuesday, June 19, 2018 MONTREAL (B, D) Workshop 7:30am Breakfast as a group at the hotel. 8:45am Assemble in the lobby and load the coach. 9:00am Depart for McGill University s Schulich School of Music. 10:00-11:00am Enjoy a workshop at the McGill University Schulich School of Music with David Martin, Professor of Trombone (TBC). Afternoon Depart for the Underground City/Old Montreal (weather permitting) where you will have lunch on own and some free time to enjoy shopping. The world's largest underground pedestrian network shelters Montrealers from both the scorching heat of summer and the frigid winter winds. More than 30 kilometers of passageways link the stations of Montreal's Metro and contain (at last count) 1,600 boutiques, 200 restaurants, 34 cinemas and 1,600 apartments. 1:45pm 2:00pm ~2:15pm Assemble at a meeting point nearby and load the coach. Depart for the Montreal Museum of Science. Enjoy admission to the Montreal Museum of Science. The Science Centre's amazing, fun, and surprising exhibitions allow visitors to explore, learn, and understand through a variety of interactive means. Explore science and technology through interactive devices at the Montréal Science Centre s permanent exhibitions and IMAX Theater. ~4:45pm 5:45pm 6:00pm 6:30pm Load the coach and return to the hotel. Assemble as a group and load the coach. Depart for a local restaurant. Enjoy a Farewell Dinner as a group at Essence, featuring live interactive Montreal jazz. Return to the hotel. DAY EIGHT: Wednesday, June 20, 2018 MONTREAL SF BAY AREA (B) Morning Breakfast as a group at the hotel. 6:15am Check-out of the hotel with all belongings and load the coach. 6:30am Depart for Montreal Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. ~7:20am Arrive at Montreal Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport and check-in for your flights pass through US immigration and customs at Montreal Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport then move through security to your departure gate.
