2 Le Château de Pray The Château de is Pray nestled in the heart of the Chateaux de la Loire, 2km from the Royal town of Amboise. 3 8 centuries of histories It's said that the first stone of this ancient medieval fortress dates from the 10th Century. Situated on the southern banks of the Loire, the chateau dates from Geoffroy de Pray gave the castle his name and motto "Loyally without doubting, and saying little'', which is still inscribed on the stained glass windows of the Petit Salon. Geoffrey de Pray also built the castles two massive towers, one of which is thinner than the other. In the 18th Century the chateau's location was considered one of the most desirable in the Chanteloup district of Touraine. Of its extensive vineyards, only an a old wine press remains in the Renaissance alcoves, a part of which was restored to make room in the Petit Caveau, itself a lounge for enjoying a glass of Armagnac or Eaux de vie after meals. A series of illustrious families succeeded one another in the chateau, with links to the history of Amboise, Queen Elizabeth I of England, as well as Kings of Spain and France. Some have their coat of arms painted on the imposing central beam of the restaurant. Ermel de la Grange, personal secretary to the Baron de Rothschild, whose emblem of a golden saltire on a sky-blue field accompanies his ''EL'' monogram, as well as his wife's ''OB,'' for Olympe Boisse, decorating the mantlel of the Petit Salon's fireplace. A private residence since the 18th Century, the chateau de Pray was one of the very first to become a hotelrestaurant in the 1950s. It has been associated with the Cariou family since 1989 when Adrien Cariou fell in love with the property after attending a business dinner and later became its owner. His daughters, Nathalie and Cécile, motivated by the same appreciation for the chateau's charms, continue his passion. Chateau de Pray is a member of LES COLLECTIONNEURS brand.

7 Troglodyte room the Orangerie : modern and traditional The Orangerie is 120m 2 with 4m high ceilings caved into the 'tuffeau' local stone. Its 2 large windows open onto the main courtyard, which allow natural light to enter Heavy curtains can be closed to created a more cosy environment This room can welcome up to 80 persons for gatherings and up to 54 persons to have a meal

12 Reservation and Deposit Reservation are confirmed only after acceptation of the detailed quote and a safety deposit of 30% of the total price The safety deposit is refundable up to 30 days before the event The total amount is withdrawn if you decide to cancel less than 30 days prior to the event Billing is based upon the number of people attending the event (which must be confirmed at least 8 days before the d-day) The remaing amount is directly paid at the restaurant on the day of the event
