4 On November 8th 1899, Louis Fouquet opened a restaurant at 99 Avenue des Champs-Elysées that was to become, in the eyes of the world, the Parisian restaurant. In 1928, Le Fouquet s became the privileged meeting place of the cinematic world with the opening of the first projection room on the Champs-Elysées. Legendary, prestigious, warm and welcoming in the spirit of the great Parisian brasseries, Le Fouquet s is for all those who love to meet at any time of day in lively locations frequented by the great and good from the world of cinema, arts and entertainment, to sample French cuisine developed in collaboration with Pierre Gagnaire. On Sunday evenings, the hotel presents a Barrière Ciné- Club in the private cinema room at 6pm. For 35 per person, guests can enjoy a private screening with a glass of champagne and savoury delicacies.
