5 4 WELCOME TO DA VINCI S MANSION 3 Welcome to the mansion where Leonardo Da Vinci spent the last years of his life, and enjoy the many interactive replicas of his inventions in the garden. The Italian artist and inventor was invited by the French king to help him create the Château de Chambord and resided here at the Clos Lucé. Discover his bed room, dining room and his atelier, as well as many of his famous inventions. Some of them are big enough to play with, making it a paradise for your children! 6 5 OF GRAPES AND WINE 4 Get ready for an extraordinary journey into the world of wine and wine making through a private visit of a traditional winery in the heart of the Loire Valley. This private tour starts with the visit of the vineyards outside just to learn about the importance of the soil and weather conditions. Then, make your way into the unique wine cellar dug directly inside a cliff (troglodyte cave), where huge wine barrels are stored. Your children will have a sensory approach: touching the earth where the grapes are grown, listening to the fermentation barrels and seeing the fossils dating back from millions of years ago. 8 7 FENCING MASTERCLASS 5 Step into the shoes of d Artagnan and the Three Musketeers as you enjoy a private and fun filled fencing class in the comfort of a small, cozy chateau. Back in the 16 th century, when the Kings and Queens of France lived in the Loire Valley, fencing was a sport they would all learn. Our private, experienced teacher (who has trained several Olympic teams) will give you an introduction on the art of fencing before you gear up and do some sword fighting of your own. The duels are both fun and challenging. En garde! This hands-on workshop includes a private fencing teacher and venue. 2 hours, minimum age 6 years

9 8 SAILING DOWN THE LOIRE RIVER 6 Sit back and relax while you enjoy a wonderful sailboat ride on the Loire River and discover the charming landscape that characterizes this region. Forget the hustle and bustle of the cities, forget the minivans, forget the engine noises. This private 2h sail down the Loire River is the perfect way to relax and still take in all the beauty of the Loire Valley. Wine is available on the boat, and your children will enjoy this fun, traditional ride. Start with a visit to a traditional market in the heart of the historical city of Tours. After getting all the fresh ingredients, head out to a private kitchen and get ready to prepare a delicious meal. Just follow the instructions of your private chef and have fun cooking your 3 course child-friendly meal. The best part of the cooking class comes at the end.
