2 Set in the heart of the city, the Théâtre de Liège plays a major role in terms of artistic creativity. Its rich and varied programme includes the work of famous directors and choreographers from Belgium and abroad as well as internationally-known actors like Mélanie Laurent, Emmanuelle Béart and Vincent Perez, and emerging artists - representatives of culture today and ambassadors of culture tomorrow. The Théâtre de Liège, Wallonia s leading stage, is located at the centre of the Euregio and transcends borders with its collaborations with prestigious international institutions: the Festival of Avignon, the Théâtres Nationaux de la Colline and de Chaillot in Paris, the Berlin Schaubühne, the Venice Biennial, the National Theatre of Korea to name but a few. Creativity is a stimulating force and when employed by a company, can enhance its appeal. The Théâtre de Liège is keen to associate its image with dynamic and talented economic partners, and play its part in the region s development. 2

3 FACILITY AND ROOM HIRE With an emphasis on wood, concrete and glass, the Théâtre de Liège occupies a total area of m 2 (83,958 sq ft) blending neoclassicism and contemporary design. Columns, mouldings and gilding cohabit with Vitra furniture by Jean Prouvé, a famous French designer, creating a pared-down but warm atmosphere. In this sumptuous setting, right in the city centre, the Théâtre de Liège provides rooms and facilities for your meetings, seminars, cocktails, receptions and any other event. The Theatre has its own technical equipment and furniture (tables, chairs, bar tables, etc), a real advantage for organisers. / INFO The rooms at the Théâtre de Liège can be hired on a daily basis, depending on availability. Half-day hire: a half-day is 4 hours maximum hire (including assembling and disassembling). Full-day hire: a day is 5 hours minimum to 12 hours maximum hire (including assembling and disassembling). All prices quoted for hire are not inclusive of VAT, but include energy costs, Wi-Fi, sound distribution and spotlighting. Payment for technical personnel and additional hospitality staff is not included. A request must be made in advance for all equipment (screen, video projector, etc). A full quotation will be issued (additional technical services and/or equipment). Ticketing service available, information on request. Disabled access. 3

11 VIP event catering and reception service EVENT CATERING Drinks with finger-food, cocktail parties, gala dinners, business lunches, breakfasts, coffee breaks, and so on. The young, dynamic team from Balcon de l Emulation, in collaboration with caterers Les Cours, will make your event an exceptional experience in the sophisticated settings of the second floor rooms, or in any other space you choose. Information from Les Cours caterers: François Demoulin VIP Treat your staff or your clients to a unique evening event with the VIP du Théâtre option: combine entertainment and culinary delights in a sophisticated setting, with a champagne bar, and a refreshments or a meal before or after the entertainment. Made to measure options are available to suit you personally. All these options include not only seating for the performance and the reception, but also a cloakroom service, a personalised welcome from our hospitality staff, a few words of introduction about the show, a parking space and the opportunity for advertising space for your company in the Theatre (in the reception foyer).
