VENUE OF THE MEETING 1.1 The AIS-AIMSG/4 Meeting will be held in Bordeaux, France at Service de l information aéronautique (SIA). 2. REGISTRATION OF PARTICIPANTS 2.1 Participants are requested to register between 0800 and 0900 hours on the opening day of the meeting, i.e. Monday, 23 May DOCUMENTATION FOR THE MEETING 3.1 Documentation for the meeting will be issued as study notes/information papers. All documentation will be posted on the AIS-AIMSG website at Participants are requested to download papers since no printed copies will be available. 3.2 A summary of discussions (SoD) will be issued shortly after the meeting. 3.3 Reference documents will be available to participants on the AIS-AIMSG secure website at 4. OPENING OF THE MEETING 4.1 The opening of the meeting will take place at 0900 hours on Monday, 23 May 2011 in the Salle de Conférences which, when you enter the SIA building, is the first conference room on the right. LANGUAGES 6.1 The meeting will be conducted in the English language. 7. SOME USEFUL TRAVEL INFORMATION 8.1 Passport and visa requirements All foreign nationals entering France must possess valid passports. It is recommended that participants also check whether they require a visa for entering France. Personalized visa assistance can be provided by the ICAO Legal Bureau, through Ms. Rebecca Vann at rvann@icao.int, as necessary. 8.2 Location of the ICAO Headquarters and recommended hotels The SIA is located at 8 avenue Roland Garros, B.P.40245, MERIGNAC Cedex. 5 Jet'Bus: the Bordeaux Airport shuttle service Departing from Terminal B, Arrivals level, the Jet'Bus shuttle connects Bordeaux Airport to Bordeaux train station via the city centre every 45 minutes, 7 days a week. The ride from start to finish lasts around 45 minutes, depending on traffic. 6 Bus for Bordeaux Airport In addition to the Jet'Bus, the shuttle service between Bordeaux Airport and the central train station, other public transportation is also available. BORDEAUX URBAN COMMUNITY "LINE 1" Bordeaux Urban Community «Line 1"connects Bordeaux Airport to "Bordeaux city center Quinconces" and serves among other stations "Mérignac Soleil", "Merignac Centre", "Barrière Judaïque"and "Gambetta square". Line 1 provides also connecting services with Tram Line A at "Mérignac Centre" and with Tram Line B and C at "Bordeaux Quinconces ".
