Riding along the beach we will pass charming streets of Sopot, ride through city parks visit Old Town of Gdansk driving through Long Market Street and among the Motlava River. You ll have opportunity to see unique town s fortifications, monuments, beautiful old Hazenatic houses and for sure fountain of Neptun. Our animator will lead you and will tell you about the interesting facts and stories on the way. On the end you ll get into a kayak and our instructor guide will acquaint you with the history of Gdansk from the Motlava River. Since the ancient times, the Baltic amber was renowned for its particular beauty. Our program leads you through a specially arranged amber route, helping you discover the ancient world of amber in a fun and creative way. Divided in groups, you will follow the itinerary looking for information, tips and learning amber- related skills. Winning the game depends on the ability of the group to manage the challenges, gather information and find the right objects. The game starts with the amber hunt at the beach. The sand search might turn out pretty difficult; every group must find the requested number of amber pieces. Next stop is the Amber Museum; a great occasion to learn about the history and tradition of amber crafting and the amber s role in art and culture. A visit at the amber craftsman s workshop will teach you about working the amber and jewellerymaking. Your challenge will be to create your own amber necklace, using all the materials gathered throughout the game and according to the amber master s tips - your creative input is welcome to create a unique amber artefact, anextraordinary souvenir and gift.

25 VENUES GDANSK Stary Maneż location: Gdansk capacity: up to 370 persons on two levels Stary Manez is one of Poland s finest live venues located in Garnizon Kultury cultural heart of Wrzeszcz district, Gdansk. The history of this facility dates back to the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, when it served as riding hall for elite unit of cavalry called the Black Hussars. Nowadays, the restored interiors of Stary Manez become an unique place for a wide variety of cultural events. Stary Manez counts 1700 sqm of stunning and well designed space, with daylight and blackout capabilities. Main hall with mezzanine has a stage with a modern sound system and lighting equipment. The venue includes a brewery, cafe and wine&vodka bar, perfect for drinks receptions before the main event. Location of Stary Manez inside the park also gives an opportunity to organize an open-air events.

It is considered as one of the most valuable monuments of the city and the church in which Johannes Hevelius was christened in It was burnt and completely abandoned after WWII, it has been completely renovated and it is once again one of the great landmarks of Gdańsk. While many of the interior fittings have been moved to St. Mary's its famous 12 metre high renaissance altar remains as do a number of tombs and gravestones which give you a good idea of the city's multi-cultural history. As a result of an agreement between the Baltic Centre of Culture and the Gdańsk archdiocese, the St. John s Centre was founded here in The Baltic Centre of Culture was obliged to administer the reconstruction of the devastated building in order to adapt it to the combined functions of a concert and exhibition hall. The main principle of the cultural activity was to create a place open to various artistic projects and ventures, a place serving both artists and art enthusiasts, a place of natural synchronicity between the preserved historical and cultural heritage and contemporary times.
