2 Basic programme statistics (I) Global Programme allocation: 3,600, Euro - Kosovo: 1,800, Euro - Montenegro: 1,800, Euro Amount of funds committed with the signature of contracts: - Nine (9) projects founded in the amount of 3,135, Euro Number of calls for proposals published: - One call for proposal published on 16 th of December 2013 and closed on 25 th of March 2014; Reference: EuropeAid/ /L/ACT/Multi - One call for proposal Re-lunched on the 31 st of July 2015 and closed on 15 th of September 2015; Reference: EuropeAid/ /DD/ACT/Multi Number of applications received in each of the published calls: - On the First Call for Proposal 47 applications where received - On the Re-lunched Call for Proposal 54 applications where received

4 Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Montenegro Kosovo The global objective of the programme is the socio economic development of the programme area by fostering cooperation and joint initiatives The specific objectives of the Programme are: Protection of biodiversity and promotion of the sustainable use of natural resources in the programme area; Economic development of the programme area with a special emphasis on two priority sectors: a) Sustainable agriculture and forestry; b) development of the tourism offer complementary to the existing seaside tourism in Montenegro. This objective may also include infrastructure projects aiming to facilitate the cooperation and trade within the programme area (e.g. upgrading of cross-border points; road rehabilitation); Promotion of socio-economic cohesion between communities living in the bordering regions by encouraging inter-municipal cooperation and developing partnerships and networking between Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), professional organisations (i.e Chambers of Commerce, entrepreneurs and farmers organisations) and educational institutions

5 Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Montenegro Kosovo The Priority Axis 1 of the Cross border programme Montenegro- Kosovo is Economic and social development and promotion of natural resources. This Priority Axis will be implemented through three different measures.
